I have been searching everywhere and cant find a answer to my problem. i have a 8525 with TCPMP on it. i put the movies on my memory card, they play great, outstanding picture, but the audio is slighty delayed, is there a setting i can mess around with to fix this, or am i going to have to live with it b/c this drives me nuts. any advice would help me out a lot. thanks
no fix i know of. all you can do is pause the vid and replay. it brings it back into sync for a little while anyways.

i figured it out-in tcpmp-you have to go to options-settings-select page-advanced- then change manual A/V offset to -450
oh cool ive been having issues with that too while watching Curb your enthusiasm.

Has anyone experienced their ringtones or music MP3s playing at a higher speed? Mine do play fast and at a higher pitch... sound like chipmunks!
Any idea how to fix this?
Thanks!
you ask me that sounds pretty cool  no sorry, haven't experienced this in any of the units i've used...
I found what it was:
I bought this game (http://www.handango.com/ampp/store/...178724§ionId=0&catalog=30&topSectionId=-1)
and the sounds sped up after I had installed it! (weird, huh?) I have cured by uninstalling the game. I will reinstall it, copy the program files and then uninstall it again so i can still use it, but it doesn't mess up my sounds.
when someone calls you...do their voices sound like chipmunks as well hehehehe...sorry, couldn't resist it!
interesting how the other application somehow influences the overall phone application. i wonder if installing it in the memory card helps...? oh well, good luck then
Nope... sadly, it didn't make peeps sound like Alvin (that would've kicked ass
I think it puts some DLL or some other thing in the registry that fraks up the sound subsystem. It's fixed now

If you have Zombie Buster installed, uninstall it. That fixed my issue.
Hope this helps!
Its as simple as this turn the phone off and back on again who would have thought of it lol, new to the forum nice to meet everyone.
i would like to get tcpmp workin on my 8525 but i cant figure it out, perhaps i can get some help?
i searched quite a few keyword strings reffering to my issue which is more audio focused than video but nothing so here i am asking.
at first, i was getting the tcpmp flickering issue and went into options->video and changed it to raw framebuffer to fix that but upon every entrance to tcpmp (which is installed to my main memory) i get the popup error:
"player: MPEG4 AAC Audio decoder not included! It was removed from the official install package because of intellectual property consinderations."
i get the video from most of my files but no audio, figured it could b an audio issue but my only choice under options->audio besided the default Wave Ouput (which doesnt work) is Null Audio and/or Disabled and neither of those seem logically correct.
Windows Media Player stops during video play often when playing mp4 files, sometimes neway and it gets annoying.
thanks in advanced
i tried installing the supposed tcpmp .81 i read about in
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=275255&page=4
and the audio works but no video, reguardless of wut video choice in the options menu..
and btw. not sure if itll happen everytime but my phones completely frozen right now after trying to exit tcpmp .81.. attempting soft reset now =X
i guess i solved my own problem, sorry mods for wasting forum space, the issue with the audio was corrected with TCPMP .81 which Teo2005 points us to at:
http://story.cetizen.com/akebi/tag/tcpmp
and the new video issue was solved with the soft reset. works nicely, even with a video that i couldnt previously open.
no negative drawbacks yet.

It's good to see someone work through an issue and show us the steps taken and the positive outcome achieved. I do not consider this a waste of forum space. There are much more obvious wastes of space around!!!!
Mike
Thanks for the link, trinic101. I, too, am able to view avi and wmv files with no flickering at all on my 8525. After a month of disappointments, TCPMP actually works! I guess I won't go back to PalmOS after all! Snicker!!!! No, really!

Well, my Ameo arrived this morning, and I've been busy installing all my usual software. Loving it so far...
I've installed TCPMP 0.72RC1, but i'm getting very jerky playback with avi files which play ok on my Universal. The sound is ok, but i'm getting about 1 frame per second, and going fullscreen makes it give up completely.
Also, with TCPMP running, but no file loaded, I get flickering streaks across the centre of the screen.
Anyone know what's going on here, and how I can solve it?
Thanks in advance.
Edit - problem now solved - see other thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1178850#post1178850

Hmm, the homepage is down, and so is the mirror at picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/
I've attached the cab file which I found in my Activsync folder, but it seems I didn't save the whole installer.
See if it works, but you'll still need to find the plugins for it if you want to use the aac codec.
Turn off Smooth Zoom and Acceleration under video optons.
I had same thing on X7500, under video, switch to direct framebuffer, thats all...
I was wondering if it is possible to get a sound to play when you slide out the keyboard. Is it possible on a wm6 wizard?
Thanks in advance.
Yea...I'm also interested in this!
anyone?
Anybody know how to do this?
this works on my wizard...

Make sure you get the Transformers .wav
KILLER!
Great job son,
Ivan
WOW
Great find joe.
Thank you very much!
bassplaya
a little slow
this is a little slow to activate after the keyboard slides in or out, but still very cool
how do you install this? very new to upgrading. still kinda lost with all the new terminology. thanks
hey thanks for the great plug in, i personally added some mario tones on mine. do u know if there is a way to make the sound more responsive when sliding keyboard in/out? i thought i saw a person on youtube with this plug but the sound was almost instant... maybe another program????
i really hate slacker radio....does anyone know if pandora will work on the hd2?...if so is there a .cab for it?
The generally accepted answer to this is no. There is a .cab floating around, but it supposedly has problems with the login not working correctly with the keyboard.
Slacker radio has buffering issue where the music stops and never plays again until restarting the app on both of my HD2 phones. I have filed a bug with slacker. If anyone else is having this, we need to all file bugs so it gets fixed.
BTW. You are suppose to be able to listen to pandora radio by browsing through your browser on the phone. I have tried IE with Flash Light, Opera with Flash Light, and Skyfire and none work. Oh well.
hmm good idea... i might just try going through the browser...but pandora on this phone would be great!
See attached, works for me... Not sure who to give credit to, but found it on the TP2 forum. If Username/password is an issue, use mymobler to enter it.
Hope that helps

Out of all of the forums for this phone. This has been the best solution for Pandora on HD2 by far. Thanks so much!
...thank you for posting the "mymobler" program.
That is exactly what I needed to get this to work...Viva La Pandora!
WooHoo!! Thank You!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=654302
posts 1 and 8 contain all the answers to get pandora fully functional on ur hd2, just beware that, because there is not yet an official pandora app for the hd2, the UI will be distorted

It's an app that lets you see and control your phone's screen via your PC...it's an indespensible tool that ends up being handy in soooo many instances. It'll also let you capture screenshots and vid clips of your phone
