Hello,
I am trying to set my email accounts to download its attachments directly to my storage card.
Please advise of the steps on how to go about this using Total Commader.
Your time is much appreciated.

You should set a flag in your email account on your device to store attachments on your storage card.
Go into your inbox, go to menu, tools, then options, then go to the storage tab and check the only thing there.

Hi guys
I've unlocked ExtRom and made it visible but found some phenomenons occured after that .
1. Inbox storage default storage card has been changed to ExtRom and not changable.
2. Excel Mobile saving location has been changed to ExtRom but it's okay to reset to Storage card.
3. Note/Word Mobile/Powerpoint Mobile saving location remains.
4. Camera saving location remains user defined.
Is there any way to re-define inbox storage path to STORAGE CARD?? I belive many users are used to stored complete Outlook emails in device.
Any idea??

Letting the garbled English slide for the moment, I think what you're trying to do is force your phone to save email attachments to your storage card (mini SD card) instead of main memory.
If so:
Open the mail feature (click the envelope button)
Click Menu (softkey)
Select Switch Accounts --> (your email account)
Click Menu again
Click Tools --> Options
Click the Storage tab
Check the box that says "Store attachments on storage card"
Bob's your uncle.
can someone direct me on how to free up memory on my Hermes?
My device memory is very low, I already cleared my cookies and history in Internet explorer settings.
The memory got used up when I received almost 30 e-mails to my device. Where is the e-mails files stored?
tnx in advance

Not 100% sure but try the My Documents folder in phone storage.
You can set the Hermes to store attachements on the sd card for emails/mms.
If you can't find where the emails are stored but want to keep them then save them as .txt files on the sd card.
Try to install all 3rd party apps on the Memory card, you can transfer any apps you already have installed by cutting them out of the My Programs folder on the device and pasting them to a My Programs folder on the sd, you just need to send a shortcut to the windows startmenu programs folder. Use Total Commander (free) or Resco Explorer if you have it.
Cheers...
tnx
tnx, I 've got all programs on sd card already, only thing is I cannot figure out where e-mail files are stored or how to set it so attachments are stored on sdcard.
tnx for advice so far ...
Go to messaging>Menu>options>Storage. It should have a box that can be checked saying "When available use storage card to store attachments". Tick it if unticked.
Cheers...
Hi,
I seem to remember finding a tweak or a program on here to change the default storage location for all of my Outlook emails synchronised via ActiveSync, that is for the messages and the attachments to be stored on the SD card.
I have had to hard reset my device due to an "issue".
It is running standard UK Orange ROM.
I have spent that last 2 hours searching and failed to find anything to help.
Can anyone suggest how this is done PLEASE!!!
Missing having my emails to refer to when out & about!
Many thanks,
Paul
Hi, I recently tried to flash my Verizon GS4 with the latest update but I failed so, anyway, I did back up most of my data but there were a few things like pictures that were in my internal memory that I didn't save. For example, my Whatsapp folder and my saved photos from Facebook automatically save to my internal memory. I looked to change the settings to direct where I want to save the images/documents but I did not see any option in those apps.
I was wondering:
Can I change the automatic download drive/folder so that everything goes to external memory?
and/or, can my external memory automatically copy everything from my internal memory that is downloaded synchronously?
