I have auto complete turned on. It will randomly stop working & a soft reset is required to get it working again. But after an hour or so quits working once again. it also wont put in ' (as you see in wont) or capitalize i or first letters of a sentence. any ideas what is going on and how to fix this? thanks!

I really can't pinpoint when and why word completion stops working. A soft reset remedies it. I have skype, GS Player, and a Tetris game installed over the HTC ROM. Any ideas?
I've got this problem too, happens nearly every day now - any remedies?
In settings it says word completion is still on but it won't work unless soft reset.
I'm running Black 2.5 as my ROM, but it's happened on all ROM's, including the Cingular stock WM5 rom. The keyboard just stops working. It comes back sometimes on it's own a few minutes later, and always after a soft reset, but what causes it?
Does this happen to anyone else, and is it a hardware issue, or a software issue?
Does happen to me sometimes. Had one this morning. Not only k/b, but the scroll wheel as well.
Keyborad not responding
Hello,
Have same problem after flashing rom.
I thought that maybe I did it wrongly but also my friend discover this issue.
From time to time external keyboard not responding and on-screen keyboard is working but DEL key is also dead.
Also other buttons like green/red phone keys not respondig.
Sometimes problem disapper automaticaly sometimes I have to reset phone.
Any solution?
Has anyone found information on this problem? I have had my 8525 for about 6 months now and this has happened to me on the original shipped ROM as well as both Black 2.5 and 3.0.1.
It happens usually during texting, and like stated previously, sometimes it comes back on its own, and sometimes it takes a soft-reset to get it working again. I am able to finish the typing using the SIP before soft-resetting.
I haven't paid attention to whether or not the scroll wheel stops working or not. I'll keep an eye out for that. Also I can't figure out what's triggering this problem. It seems very random.
I would start to think it's a hardware problem since I have seen it on 3 different ROMs, but so many of us are experiencing the same issue.
Happens on my Vario 2 sometimes. I've put it down to me using the keyboard whilst the CPU is bogged down too much, and it just doesn't 'see' the interrupts coming from the keyboard I/O controller, and then it loses its sync.
I usually just soft reset at that point, because I can't be bothered to wait and see if it comes back
I have it sometimes when using IM and PIE. Closing PIE and waiting a couple of minutes usually brings it back.
Well first of all I love Android, but I have some problems. The first problem I have is the G-Sensor, it used to work, but suddenly it stopped working properly. Now when I want to rotate the screen I have to hold it the way I want it to turn for 20 seconds, is there a solution to this problem?
Now my second and most important problem is calling. I have multiple problems with it. One of them is when I'm being called while the phone is in lockscreen I try answering it but I have to wait ten seconds before it actually answers, mostly the caller is already connected to my voicemail. My second problem is the End Call button when is press it, it says ended but I also have to wait ten seconds before it actually ends the call. Does anyone have the solution to these problems?
For further information, I use Froyostone 3.2. And sorry for my poor English.
Could anyone please help me, sorry for the bump?
Also I notice that my hardware buttons light up randomly.
I also have the same problem. Well at least with the g sensor. Running android 2.2 the problem with my g senor is whenever I flip messages they will not flip back. (along with anything else that does flip) I've done the re-calibration on the phone and this is what happens.. x axis is fine y axis either stays all the way up or goes all the way down. When I start the calibration the y and x axis both go to the middle but after when calibration is done the y axis goes right back up or right back down.
Thanks in advance if any one can help.
The same thing happens to me when I'm trying to calibrate it. Also have you tried holding your device for 10-20 seconds the way you want to turn it? This solves the problem for me, but I would like it to happen a little faster.
I calibrated the G-sensor when I first put on Android, bad mistake, the Bubble just stayed at the top and nothing rotated properly. The Sensor worked fine in WinMo so I guessed I'd screwed it up.
Since read somewhere on here that you shouldn't Calibrate it in Android.
Had to reinstall Android fresh to get it to work again, but its been working fine since.
Was on froyostone 3.1, when I reinstated upgraded to 3.2, all is great
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Okay that could be the solution. Do you also know if I need to put a new data image on it. I would like to keep my old one, but I thinks the problem lies there or doesn't it?
You might be able to calibrate your G-sensor in Android. Click the calibrate button and place your phone screen down on a flat surface. For some reason, calibrating only seems to be working when you face your phone screen down. It did the trick for me, fixed the offset and it's working just fine now.

I tried changing the data image from 3.1 to 3.2 but the g-sensor was the same, i just used Titanium Pro to backup the data i wanted to keep and reinstalled.
Try the Phone on its screen re-calibrate as suggested, ive read that may work as Roeltjuh suggested, but that was after i had reinstalled
That seem to do the trick, thank you!
Does anyone have the solution to my other problems? Also I've noticed a new problem, sometimes my WiFi won't turn on till I reboot. In the settings menu it says shutting down WiFi. But its already been shut down, and because of the loading it takes to shut down wifi, I can't turn it back on and my data connection says that it will be turned on when my WiFi is shut down. So I always have to reboot.
Sorry for all the questions, but I believe some of them can be fixed and they're too annoying to ignore. And again sorry for my poor English.
Recently, whenever someone calls me, that message pops up. It constantly pops up whenever I make it go away. Decided to restart my Nexus, but it still was there. However, if I press the dialer, the error actually stops and my phone works normally. Is there a particular reason why it does this? And possibly a solution? Without factory resetting?

Unfortunately, same thing just started happening here, with LiquidSmooth 2.9 on my Tmobile Note 2...
Started when a phone call came in, has not stopped since.
Even after reboot.
Phone is now unusable...
UPDATE - Pressing Dialer actually stops it.
It is just a bit tricky to press OK, then try hitting the dialer button quickly.
But it does seem to fix it.
Can now use phone again.
I am not sure what is going on, but my screen rotation just dies randomly throughout the day, sometimes multiple times per day. When it happens my proxmity sensor also stops working. A reboot fixes both issues then they will naturally happen again. When they both stop working, apps that try to use the gyro wont work they come up with a error that says it cannot be accessed. Im wondering if its a hardware issue, but its hard to believe since it works upon reboot? Ive tried pulling the battery for 30 seconds and other tricks, also dropping the phone with a case on (maybe the weight is stuck) Not sure what else to try, but next step is to swap it out i guess
