Bliss Dialer skin

I've created a dialer skin with windows XP's bliss as the background...
There are two version i've created, one with the less used hold button, one without it (u can still click on that area for hold function).. i think it looks nice, so i've decided to share it .
to install, unzip the files, and copy them to the windows folder, when prompted for overwrite, click yes.. please backup your old dialer skin before installing this one.

I am currently looking for nice background for my next skin.
Anyone having a nice background that suits to be on the dialer page, please post it here ( and also any nice icons for the dial/end button ). I will try to come out with as many skins as possible...

I have added the white stripe to make it a bit shorter than the normal ones so that when we use intellidial, the intellidial dialog do not block the background and make it loook bad...

I use Adobe photoshop to edit the original ones... ( using layers command makes it very easy)

Manilla Customizer Graphics collection

This is a set of collected graphics for Grumps Manilla Customizer there are icons, sliders and Clocks. All that is required is to add the files to your existing folders.
All tested as working on Dutty 2.9
These are not my own artwork and thanks must be given to the artists themselves. Some of the JPG files are neat and tidy, I am no graphic artist so feel free to clean these up for us

Hi Grumps, no they dont, these are additions only. Did it to prevent any duplicates and save bandwidth!!!

in the sliders zip many of the files are .png and the filenames do not match. In the icons the bufficons filenames dont match (all i've seen so far)
Easy enough to fix and when done everything works well so thanks for the upload

great work ! it is great to find such a collection without the need to browse through dozens of pages.
maybe add a date tag so it will be easier to keep track of new skins

really cool that you did this for the community! especially with the release of the fuze, there are a lot of users (myself included) that have been overwhelmed with all the skins available. now that you've done this, my first day (today) with my fuze will be that much easier. I can't figure out how to apply the zip files so that the program finds them...
I installed the manilacab, but not sure if I have to put that somewhere special? How do I go about putting the .zip files of the thems I like onto the phone!?

Phone dialer skins

I have been doing some hunting and I am struggling to find any VGA phone dialer skins. I use the standards windows mobile dialer to save memory and make the phone more responsive.
There is one I am aware of which I think is called Black Carbon - not sure who made it - but its not really what I want.
Can anyone point me in the right direction.

I quite like that thanks. I specifically wanted something that was not Carbon, so this was something nice to try.
It is a little err black for me perhaps! Looking for more of a selection as well, just surprised that there are not more VGA dialer skins for the WinMo dialer even created for another device.

Glad to see someone likes it!
It was made by taking the standard WM grey skin, rotating 180 degrees and darkening...

The problem is that most existing skins are QVGA!
More information and a couple of skins with transparent buttons can be found in the thread, see my signature.

It's really usefull dude, bcuz i hate to wait 3 ringtones for see a incoming call and i dont like the original grey keypad

It was the guy from the QVGA skin thread, Raceit, who inspired me to download photoshop. I've also got WinCE Cab Manager to make them into CABs but I haven't quite figured out what I'm doing with it yet!
Please feel free to post your designs in my thread, it would be great if we can build a resource all in one place, then I can try to get the thread title updated.

There actually a couple of skins included in Panosha's Shimple ROM, I haven't had chance to check them out yet because I only flashed it last night.

Cal-El's Clocks for new Hero style Manila 2.5

Here are some Clock cabs I made for the new Hero style Manila 2.5! One will give you clear flip panels and a blue tinted background with white letters! The other black flip pannels with white letters and a green tinted background! I noticed there are not many mods for the new Manila 2.5 so I wanted to get some started! Enjoy friends!

So I've downloaded them (and joined forces ) and came up with a new variant that fits really well with the rom colours. Check it out! Once again thank you.

Hi VETTE, sorry for the late answer...
I'll provide the clock for sure and try to explain for you, it's no big deal.
First I gathered the two cabs, then extract them with WinCE cab manager and then used manila editor to see wich files belonged to wich part of the clock.
So I wanted the blue background (there is a file just for that) and all the rest, black number background and everything else, from the green one. I just copied the files from the green clock and the file for the blue background to windows directory and it's done.
Never forget to disable HTC Sense before doing anything, also make sure the attribute files checked in the properties are "archive", "read only" and "system" before copying them to windows dir. And last but the most important, make backups of the files, we never know what can go wrong.

This is slightly off topic, but how do you get the calendar part under the clock to actually give upcoming appointments instead of saying the word "calendar"? Also, is there a way to add tasks to the home tab?

Update Theme New Blue focus Blue volume, Black Dialer Cab

Everything has been made a comfortable blue. This takes an extraordinary amount of time, since there are manila files, png files, bmp files and dll files that needed to be fixed. I think it is done-please give me some feedback if I have missed anything.
The cab is over 37mb so it is hosted on my web site. It is manila 2.5 2013.

The will lead you to page giving you the option to delete the link so any one can delete it which was happened with the CAB link so change the link immediately.

this looks great and would love to use this but have a few questions..I have tried Mighty (awesome ROM), I have used 7PPC (Dave Morley--very awesome) and now I am using Mr X's latest ROM..I wanted to know first how is this dialer reacting with Mighty ROM as I simply cant get this custom thing right when it comes to the dialer funtionality..I seem to get hung up trying to slide the dialer ( nearly an every day issue and when it occures I cant even answer the call)..I am guessing it could be my custom taskbar--tried to use the purian/tsowen one on the Mighty link as well the CDMA bilbo-mighty taskbar with not much luck as well..I really like the tasbar you have as well but not sure of the process (do you need sdk, nue battery etc or can you just download the cab?)--are you having any issues with this one? sorry for the long note..Your work looks great and figured I would ask..thanks again

I have no issues. And for the dialer I just flipped the pressed and normal dialers. It is a BMP file and just changed the names so that the black dialer is normal. If you want just the dialer I can cab that for you.

Ah this would be so awesome and would complete my blue theme on my phone!!!
But these aren't for Sense 2.1 are they... . I installed the dialer a few days back and the numbers were off-centered so had to uninstall it.

Would you consider an upgrade of your rom. It is easy and sense 2.5 has a lot more to offer.
But if you are sticking with the 2.1-I am sorry because I just deleted the cab I made for 2.1 when I finshed the 2.5 cab-just because it was hosted off XDA and taking up space.
I still have the 2.1 black dialer though. Install and soft reset.

You may be right. I guess the drive to be more iphone like motivates htc. But I like the weather on the home and the program links with finger scrolling. I gave up 2.1 a while ago but I can see why you might want to keep it.
I also upgraded to vista.
