Hi,
I downloaded 'tornadopowercontrol20b4.cab' and copied it to my phone, but when I try to install it it says:
"Installation of tornadopowercontrol20b4.cab was unsuccessful"
This happened when trying to install google maps a few months ago but then a week or so later it worked, I dont know why.
Does anyone know why it may have failed and how I could fix it?

Hi Guys
I was wondering if anyone knows how to install the Touch IT dialer. It was ok for a few months and today i decided to install some of the R3A cabs and it became a little buggy. So i decided to reinstall it.
First few times it crashed, then finally i managed to uninstal it. Only problem now is that I cant reinstall it. It goes upto the end in the installation bar and then says installation unsuccessful.
Before anyone starts I have searched the forum. Apparently im not the only one who has this problem. Has anyone found a fix or know what i need to do to reinstall it.

Just managed to fix it by mistake....
For others who have the problem you need to download the default dialer, install it even though you have it already on the phone. The CAB is on the forum. Then reinstall the Touch dialer and hey presto, It works

Does anyone know if there is a landscape fix?
Hi,
Google pushed out this update on Wednesday, and I've been unable to install it. The phone repeatedly attempts to download it in the background, but never does anything with it.
If i try to manually trigger the update, it downloads, goes to "Download Complete - verifying", then back to the download screen. I've tried over 3G and WiFi, before and after a factory reset. No luck
Any ideas would be very much appreciated! Everything else works perfectly fine
if i cant fix it, I may try Hero... but id rather fix it
If your phone is rooted, it will download it, then fail to install it.
According to phandroid you could install it manually....

I recently went to China and I bought the PRO 5 64Gb ROM & 4Gb RAM version and I’m loving it, although I’m having some issues.
The main problem is that I keep getting the annoying message from the Google Play “X app can’t be downloaded, try again bla bla (Error retrieving information from server. [RPC:S-7:AEC-7JFMW-4Z4P-VIKKC])” At first, I got that error every time I tried to download an app, now I just got it rarely but it’s still annoying (And yes I have followed all the YouTube tutorials and have deleted the caches, datas and everything)
The second problem, SuperSu works but won’t let me update the binaries, it gives me the Installation Failed error, I restart the phone and Installation keep failing, some ideas?
I have read that maybe changing from version A to I or G (International one) would fix the Google Play error
If I get some other problems I’ll edit this post

On my MX5 was happening something same. It was, because bad root with upgrading to new OS. I donk know if it will help you, but you can try to download older OS install it and then the new again.
today i installed last flyme in mx4 pro, and was with that download error in playstore
it was so easy so solve, just go to your google acount in setting, remove it and create again, it should fix

I've been looking everywhere for the solution but i can't find it
Problem is - I download Apple Music from Google Play, trying to start it, and all I see is "Application was forced to stop" or something like that (i have Polish MIUI, i don't know the exact translation ) and nothing happens.
Rom is original how it was out of the box, tried to update by PC suite and OTA but it says it has newest version.
It's my father's phone so i really don't want to install any custom rom on it
Somebody can help?

Nevermind, turns out that OTA for this phone is not aviable(at least in Poland), i had to manualy flash newest rom.
So good day, since fortnite is already released and i saw that our wonderful phone is compatible for the game, I had to download and install it. I went to thr galaxy store and downloaded the installer and an error occurred, same thing happened when I tried the installer from the fortnite site.
Attached herewith is a Screenshot of the problem. It keeps saying error has occurred. Can someone here help me?
Is this a custom rom problem?
i cant see an image, but it wont work on custom roms without some fiddling
