go to hermes forum and look at the wm 6 forum and just search!!!!!

As yet, there is no real TouchFLO successfully ported to Hermes. The nearest you can get so far is ButtonFLO from WM6 ROM like that from Dutty. Then add Efrost FTouchFLO. I have that set up on my JASJAM and its far from bug-free but it is quite fun using it.

win mobile 6 on herald?

many roms of wm6 are around on known sites for specific models.is anything for our herald too?ive read that there is going to be an official update to wm6 of this model so there must be something around, even beta.
Mhhm, i couldnĀ“t find anything by now....
Lets wait a little, i think HTC is going to release something for us, soon
No one cooking any roms for the Herald tho?
doesn't look like it, i looked into porting one of the wizard roms but i didnt get very far! its definately possible to flash your own roms though. Also its worth remembering that HTC have promised us wm6 roms before June. I would much rather have that than a pre-release wm6 rom as the ones that are avaliable for the wizard, hermes etc.
As far as i know, everyone is content with AKU 3.2

well i have used crossbow on my wizard and the only difference i see are pretty icons and html mail. i dont really care about either, and more importantly my herald is very stable, cant remember the last time i had to soft reset never mind hard reset. so thats why i can wait until htc do their thang!
I hear one handed uses on WM6 is way better and that windows update feature looks very promissing.
O2 may be releasing an HTC Herald as O2 XDA Terra, with WM6 on it.

HTC Herald (aka Tmo Wing)
I bought a T-Mobile Wing 2 days ago (obviously it has WM6 on it) Where-as it is stable - I am rather disappointed that they removed the native VoIP support - thus I am waiting for someone to cook a ROM and put it back in so I can do the Hybrid Cell/VoIP thing that I was Previously doing on my Wizard (MDA) - I still have my Wizard which I use strictly for VoIP at home.

Windows Mobile 6.0?

Hello all,
is it possible to upgrade to WM6?
Thanks.
apparently no WM6 ROM and i doubt there ever will be one. There isnt a WM5 for it anywayz so how could there be a WM6 ?!?!
I rather buy a proper WM6 HTC device than waiting for someone to get a wm6 rom for it.
Well... there was WM5 for the XDA.
Anyways, I'm happy with my phone, but I would like them big graphics from WM6 .
Well, if any body hears of anything, please give us a shout.
Ta.
no there was never a real wm5 for wallaby

You are right there was never a WM5 for the Alpine. I had downloaded and installed WM5 on my Hymalya (at that time). My bad.
And of course, I trust that there are people out there working on a compatible WM6 version (right Indra?) and I would be happy to try it if it becomes a reality.
Cheers.
i dont want to have WM6.0,but lookforward to WM5.0 haha,
Well, did anyone managed to get WM5 working?
HTC P6300 is similar to Alpine and it has WM5. Anybody has the HTC P6300 software to try out. I've been lookin' but no luck so far...
Alright, forget the above question, I should be reading the other discussions...
"HTC P6300 is similar to Alpine and it has WM5"
well looking alot like it will not make them that similar
it all comes down to cpu and the whole hardware setup

I just read the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=326077. It seems Helmi was able to create a WM6 for the Himalaya (QTEK 2020). It also seems to be quite stable, so let's hope that this guy will help us Alpine users too...
I for one would be eternally grateful!!!!
I have been waiting for it to be WM6.0 till i sold off and get atom
I wish someone would do WM5 for my Alpine

HTC Plus

Find this from other forum. Work fine on my HTC Trinity.
More screenshot
oh its taing too much of real estate My screen area!
Does it support VGA?
Backlight working ?
Does the backlight button work with this release ? In the other version your device will freeze at bootup....anyone tested already ?
btw: seems to be the same version like in the other post....
Cheers
Edit:
Could not wait Just installed, no problems on my device (Artemis) and Backlight-button. Looks cool.
What i don't like: in the GUI-Config you can only add apps from the Programs-directory (for example: when you want to add solitaire (which is stored in "Games"), you need to move the shortcut into the Programs-Folder....or you need to add the registry-key in HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCPlus\Shortcuts manually....or am i wrong ?
But in the end.... i think i stay with HTC Home....
Works on Artemis?!

It's interenting that you had no problems. I also installed on my Artemis with official HTC Asia WM6 rom and yes, it works until you switch off the device. Than you can never switch it on again, only by soft reset with stylus!
So I uninstalled the prog quickly...
Otherwise it would be nice to have it on Today screen, so if someone could construct a bug-free cab from the extracted files I would really welcome it!
cheers
Anybody tried this on a Touch?
The "other" Version (as petervbeck says) in the Hermes Forum doesn't work on the Touch.
I doesn't work on my Touch!
Working on Wizard
HTC Plus is Working on Wizard!
just 2 bugs:
when you select battery status in Customization and you tab on the symbol you go to wifi settings and backlight is not working

I'm using Tom's 4.1 full and as i said, no problems. But in fact- i like HTC Home more, but that's my opinion.... on my device i had no problem with hanging boots or something similar, i tested all the buttons....but not for a long time...then i switched back to HTC home...that's my expirience with Plus..
Cheers
How about a little credit where credit is due? This is the same version I posted in the Hermes forum here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=326689
Today I posted an updated version that should help some people who had problems with it.
This tool was non-functional when I found it. I had to dissassemble the dlls to find out why the utility would not work (missing HTCImgCodec.dll).

Thanks! Keep the great work!

Is the "aplication launching pad" of HTC plus finger-scrollable, or the only way to scroll is by tapping on the arrow?
TIA
Can anyone confirm that it uses less memory than HTC Home?

how do you remove HTC plus!? I like it but it freezes my PPC6700 sometimes. I don't use it but I cannot remove it from the today settings menu. Thanks
I do not know if this plugin supports VGA. If you have a VGA device, try it out and let us know.

Well, its just another custom build wm6 Rom without any ipl/spl included in it,it looks safe though, but I can't assure you of its trust worthiness,as I have never used rom from this site. But you'll have to get your phone CID unlocked first to upgrade to any wm6 rom.Instead of this Rom,You can find many latest custom build wm6 and wm6.1 excellent roms here in this forum, which are trustworthy.
thanks.
do you know where i can find a program that can unlock my cid?
and im searching for a wm6 with touchflo, do the wm6.1 that is here includes it?
Actually, you can install touchflo on any ROM - even on your current WM5 - the program you need is called ftouchflo. I guess it stands for "fake touchflo", since touchflo itself is HTC's driver/software placed in their touch/touch dual/polaris phones, and what ftouchflo does is emulating the behaviour of HTC's touchflo.
So, just search the forum for ftouchflo, and install its cab (make sure you get the latest version - 1.4.1).
You'll also want to install the ftouchflo configuration tool (should pop up when searching for ftouchflo).
With these two apps you'll have the system-wide finger scrolling and left/right/up/down gestures support plus ability to easily configure gestures and exclude programs from ftouchflo scrolling (stuff that has its own finger scrolling or gesture support - like pocketCM)
Efrost, creator of touchflo also released a much more powerful and more configurable version of it, called ftouchSL, but this one's a commercial app, not freeware.
And if you want the cube launcher, like the one on Touch phones, search for SCLPC++ - you don't need it embedded in your ROM as well and can install it on pretty much anything running WM5 or higher OS.
So, my advice to you is to first get to know the software and see if you actually like it. It's easier to install it into OS that doesn't include it, than remove it from ROM
thank you about the reply.
about the SCLPC++ i had it but it had some bugs like the menu disapeared so i delete it.
About the ftouchflo i will try to find it, but also i want to upgrade to wm6 so if i can do it, and put touchflo at the same time.. why not?.

does someone know where can I find a program that will unlock my CID?
It's all in the wiki

hi
it's up to you if you want to trust it. hehe...
btw, i'm the owner of that blog.
and many filipinos are using that rom. mostly members form www.airfagev.com since that rom was dedicated for that site. anyways, the rom is outdated and i'm not planning to update it.

[REQ] WM 6.5 today plugin for WM 6.1?

Is there some kinda plugin for the WM 6.1 to get the WM 6.5 today plugin/home screen? Perfect would be a cab which installs this as an object in the Today list!
Anyone knows where to find it - or make it?
Mmmm...
As far as I'm aware, Titanium (WM6.5 home screen) doesn't run on 6.1
Ummm...
Okay... Was kinda hoping some one would be able to "re-create" it as a today plugin for WM 6.1....! It is mostly grahics, so...

Not the case. I'd imagine there are dependancies on 6.5 that aren't compatible with 6.1. Not to mention it's not just 'mostly graphics'. That'd be the easiest bit. There'd be a ****-load of code crammed in that. Look at all the different things it can do.
Why don't you just flash a 6.5 ROM? It's pretty much retail quality as it is now. M$ are claiming 6.5 is done and we have the latest builds. It simply makes no sense why you'd want to go backwards for just the UI?
Not really worth the effort of making it since you could just go install 6.5
Or just wait a bit longer if the latest version we have isn't exactky complete.
Hehe, well, I definitely see your point. But all the WM6.5 ROMs for Diamond that I found, didn't seem to be working 100 % (but more like 90 %...).
But if it's as ready as you claim, I guess I'll get my ass going and upgrade! I believe it's possible to get TF3D for 6.5 as well?
