Icon... looks crap without an icon, but the program is good.

I'll add the icon on the next update

Hi
What I would really like is the ability to add a list of names, then the program picks one at random - kind of like names out of a hat
Any chance you could add that feature ???

program updated.
not much change.
added icon (finally)
and added 2 more modes link is same

I've linked directly to the cab, hope this is ok providence i know some people like a direct link (me included )

pPod

Hi
I know this project was put on hold, but does anyone have any contact details for the team behind it? I can't remember the company name.
Are kidding, right? You can't be that much of a noob, no one can. Have you even heard of google??
Type your query and the FIRST hit you get gives your answer.
Do that before creating useless threads.
http://www.geek.com/the-death-of-ppod-the-virtual-ipod/
Now read. They went out of business.
/me claps at agovinoveritas
Yes I knew that, I've been to their now ex-website http://www.starbriteltd.com
My question was, who was behind it and where are they now, does anyone know?
Oh yeah, I've also emailed the current owner of the domain name in the hope he has the contact details for the previous owner.
I have that little app on my 8525. Works great.

i think LlamaV3 is looking for the people behind so he can maybe get the source code to work more on the project like adding support for other formats then just mp3
Yeah, i have htc audio manager and mortplayer, but i hope somebody can pimp up pPod just a little bit, love that little app!!!! Good luck, hop i get a copy :-D

It's not that hard to find it. I wish they used image files like .bmp or .jpg for the skins so we could at least reskin it to make it like the newer generation iPods.
I got it years ago, but there are a few things which could be improved: the skinning, setting a default music folder, D-Pad action button support, ... (all of this is of course my own personal wish list!)
Hope theres someone who knows a bit about how to do this stuff (and maybe more...)
Why not just apply this skin to WMPlayer? http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=14162

Because of 2 reasons.
1) It's ugly as hell.
2) It doesn't have the scroll wheel function like the actual program does.
pPod is still easy to find for download. I found it about a week ago.
I agree :-D
but a "real" options or settings page with a few more options to choose from would be great ( i wish i knew how to edit pPod :-D)
no source code still, I've been trying to start something from scratch but for the life of me I can't figure out how to play an mp3 on the mobile platform (first time programming mobile). It's embarrassing, can't even find any example source code that works.

***[COOL]*** Samsung i718 Flash Menu

Here's the flash menu ported from Samsung i718, Its very cool & working nice on my touch.
tHANKS!! I've got a couple of friends with i718's and always thought the menu was slick. Great job and thanks again!
very nice, well done working great on my hermes
So we must have flash player installed on our device prior using this application?
nope no flash player. it seems to be an actual app
Is that how you spell "Organiser"?
Also, is there a way to edit the programs targets in the registry or something?

i dono yet. found this over at Ipmart yesterday though. I tossed it on my touch and my brothers mogul and its sweet. Even my mom was able to navigate WM6 once we showed her this. I'm sure someone will find out how to edit it real soon. Possible skins anyone???
Nice find!
i find that the i718 or something like that, looks really a lot like the shadow,
maybe tmobile copied it
o, and by the way, nice find, but the launcher doesnt look like like the ones ive seen one the phone
I've read a few sites on this phone now and the opinion varies a bit. One place I found that was good for expert reviews and real life opinion on the Samsung SGH I718 even had a few photos and the like which i found helpful. Hope that helps others that landed here doing their own research:->
This is HEX-edit job not a regeistry job.
windows\launcher.exe can be HEX editet for customizing.

Thats true, but it is good, if you want to learn binary code, this is best what you can do.
Images uploaded
If anyone have some good idea how to improve it, post please!!!
Nice idea, but one little suggestion.
Why not change the display order, like:
Hours
Minutes
Seconds
I think that would make it lot better.

nice if there was an option in the menu to display a standard digital clock on the screen simultaneously so those that do not understand binary can learn.
just an idea.

i would like it in a today plugin... but maybe something like this:
h:m:s
0010:010100:110001
all on one line and nice and neat. I would love it just like that
P.S i love that i can hide the 32 16 8 4 2 1 above the binary values so keep that
So, if i've understand well, when a 1 is put you'll need to sum to find what time is it, correct ?
Why no to put it like the binary clocks, like these ones :
This should be very funny to read !
Some more details on : http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/watches/6a17/
BTW, nice idea and program !
wow another geeky program to further obfuscate my XDA.
can't wait to try this out... unfortunately, I have to lurk moar and figure out how to install (and its prerequisites) the WM 5.0 on my O2 XDA II mini. (or confirm if it is out yet)

No install, only copy .exe file to your Documents, but you must have installed .NET 2.0, i tried it on iPAQ 4240 and it works fine.

S2U2/Startup Animations

Might have already been done, but I was creating a little file store for myself for any animations I might want to use as S2U2 backgrounds or to replace the HTC startup, and thought I'd put it up here as well as a thank you to all the people who taught me how to do it and created animations.
Anyway - the file is pretty big (circa 15mb) and is stored here - http://www.humyo.com/F/5410591-173182029
If anyone has any issue with any of the images I've included, just post and as soon as I see I'll remove them from the zip.
Also, if anyone knows how to make them full screen, that would be most appreciated!
*Addn* Realised that these are designed for a QVGA device, so here's a site that allows you to quickly and easily resize gifs - http://www.smileygenerator.us/t/gifresize/index.php
Resize it by clicking on the scaling factor bit and selecting 2x
The file appears at the bottom so just save it from there and put it on your device.
Hope it's of use to someone!
Chris.

It will be there in 6 minutes...
I realised I'd included some pictures that wouldn't be suitable for under 18s so to speak, so I've just removed it and am currently 3 minutes and 37 seconds away from having the new one uploaded.
give it 5 and try again, should be ok then...
All done, should be able to download at will now.
Sorry about earlier!
Thanks for the bundle but a good amount of the gifs seem to be corrupted or unfinished.

Passowrding SMS or Hiding

Hi,
This site has been recommended to me as THE place to come to if u have PPC problems. My issue is that I wan to hide my SMS from others and even filter them so certain contacts get hidden automatically.
Is there any Freeware app available or code you guys can make to deal with this problem. Please go easy on my with the Acronyms... I just about got TP2 but stuck on Manilla...
So can you guys do anything for me?

Welcome to the forum. I am sure you will receive good adice. Just for future reference try the search function where you will find what you are looing for as well as other useful information.
As far as the software you are looking for I too wanted this software but could not find a decent freeware program. I found a program called Secret SMS from Handago which kept other eyes away from my personal messages.

If the b*tch could stop snooping around with HIS business he wouldnt have to hide it. j/k
That is honestly the funniest thing I've read today (above).
I, too, want this software - and am not afraid to admit that I want it because an ex-gf or two text me every now and then and I'm sincerely afraid that my pure-blooded german wife would snip my nads off with a rusty butter knife if she saw them. Luckily my phone auto-locks every 15 minutes per a government pushed security policy - but if I left it unlocked after doing something - that'd leave her 14 and change to find something, read it, and locate a suitably dull knife.
You can try this: http://handheld.softpedia.com/get/SMS/Ez-Secret-SMS-59592.shtml
It costs money, but there is a trial you can test.
