Xda Orbit from German to English. Please support!

Hi to all,
It seems that I have very comlicated situation. Firstly, I have flashed my german rom with extended customized rom and now i am stucked at my O2 screen and nothing happens. I can just enter to boot loader mode. When I enter to boot loader mode and when I want to flash with HTC od DOPOD or any wwe rom I get eror 244 - no valid ID.... I can not use my XDA orbit any more or boot it to windows so I would really like someone to transfer to me his experience. Please help.

...or please if you know where to find Xda orbit GErman rom to download. Since no one can update to WWE his non WWE rom I would like just to make my Xda usable with old German one. Hmmm, ironicly NOW I CAN not find that german rom to download... Please Help!

I do have original O2 orbit from Germany, but i do not know how to make a image of the rom so i can send it to u. I'd like to help u but if u can tell me how to ...

i cant quite follow on what you mean by "flashed my german rom with extended customized rom".
did you fiddle with your extrom or what?
nevertheless, eror 244 - no valid ID, means you are flashing an incompatible rom. this is due to your machine only accepting o2 xda machine code roms. only way to get passed this is to acquire supercid, meaning unlocking your machine via http://www.imei-check.co.uk/c3unlock.php
in order to flash the htc or dopod roms.
since there is no o2 xda rom around, akaik, you will not be able to regain your system, unless you are able to flash an alternative rom, which needs you to be supercid. havent heard of anyone being able to dump a rom properly yet, neither being able to reflash it to another machine

The think I do is - I have installed EXT Rom in English on my German O2 Xda ROM. I stucked myself at O2 Xda orbit log screen. I can not go further with booting. I am hapy anyway that I can go to boot loader.
Do you know where I can download GERMAN Oreginal Xda orbit rom so I can return to old one and at least use my machine???
Can we expect easy way of changing rom like with Qtek s110 or Xda Neo???
Please can anyone EXPLAIN DETAILED INFORMATION and procedure of unlocking via imei chack.

This is great Idea wich can solve my problems. I will Just need NBH file for SD card flashing and it must be from XDA ORBIT. Please make this image anf if it is possible please tell me your progress. I also do not know how but I am reading...

I'm Junior Member, and I have exactly the same problem that you have. I need the original Rom of O2 XDA Orbit so I can return to wm5 or wm6 then I can connect to activesync to unlock the phone, after that I can install other roms... please someone reply to us the link to download this image...

I have trid to Update my Herald by using 838 WM6 G4 rom, in the shell, I have already back up my OS, then I flash with new OS. after finish and reboot, it be become freeze on the start up screen. I am still able to load into the tri-color screen, but the problem I can't find any ROM( any language version) in the whole world. can any one had the ROM that can sent it to me, or upload to the FTP. or give me the way to put the back up OS rom back in.( I only flash the OS, not the whole things) Phone is totally Dead. Please save my phone.

I have my OS ROM, but I don't know how to put it back to my device in Tri-color screen. anyway, thanks for you help.

Hi,
Your Herald is HTC branded or Dopod..if dopod then just put into bootloader mode and flash the Dopod ROM..it will be alive again

it is an O2 germany mini S and i tried to update rom but i didn't know that i have to unlock cid and upgrading stoped at 95% phone start in bootloader mode ii update wm6 and phone start and stuck on O2 logo.please HELP!!!! what can i DO????!!!!

flash the german o2 rom it will work from the bootloader screen (hold camera bottun & soft reset until you have the three colour screen)

the original rom update from oficial site stops at 95% and phone in bootloader mode.please helpppp!!!!am when i trie to format it say format failed

well that is very unusual. you must give more info, what happens at 95%? does it give an error message? is it really a german o2 or is it just that you use their sims etc

please someone post a valid link wizard love rom i understand that this rom can bring my xda to life

just look for it yourself
does the upgrade even give an error message?
did you wait for it to finish?
or did it stop at 95% so you pulled the plug?
most/all rom upgrades pause around 80/95/99% etc

You need original official ROM to overcome the boot screen.
Do you have it?
Then try with that and post the reslt.

Read the Upgrade Guide again and look for the Recovery Steps follow that and your problem will be Fixed it worked for me if you cant find the files you need NO_Vendor WM 5 Rom let me know al upload and post the link here for you ok

Please help DOPOD M700 WIN just hanging on to DOS!

Hello you! i have the mobile Dopod M700 and it was not in WIN. My Hardreset tried (several times), the report found it was OK but not in WIN is the only boot screen (DOS) with the parameters:
IPL 1.29.001
SPL 1.29.000
GSM 02.69.90
OS January 29, 2000
My trial is still in bootloader mode to be; Currently I have not done any additional action other (not UPROM or remove anything)
I hope you have had the original ROM for the M700 to ask yourself (I currently have ROM: RUU_Artemis_DOPODASIA_WWE_LOVE_1.28.717.1_INFINEON gsm4.1.13.30_02.69.90_Cmp_Ship_R! But I see My machine is 1:29; 1:28 so this is their not dare Up) or would you show me how to CID Unlock the machine in Bootloader mode (not to be in WIN and without ActiveSync)
Not know much about My PPC; so please save your guide what I should do now?

only one way: i go to htc.com and sign up members then download the file directly from ROM htc.com original M700 and uprom for mobile.
If you can not do I'll send you the original ROM file there!
After the original rom is now up; you have to unlock CID then relaxing ROM upgrade!
