stuck at "GSM OK" when updating

I upgraded my device (PW10B1, Wallaby 5.15) from PPC2002 to WM2003final downloaded from http://www.romkitchen.de, I used SD card type-1 and the writing completed successfully but after cold reset, Wallaby boot screen showed up again and stopped with "GSM OK" message and won't go any further. Please help, Thanks.
When you get GSM OK, you are in the bootloader.
Maybe a malware of your powerbutton....
if you just do a softreset, what happens without touching the powerbutton?
Stefan
actually I got the device in damaged condition from a friend, before upgraded it won't boot to windows, it was just keep displaying Wallaby boot screen with "GSM ERROR" message when turned on. After upgrade process and soft reset (with and without touching power button, the results are the same) Wallaby boot screen is still displayed but the message is "GSM OK". I'm thinking the same thing, the power button may be damaged somehow, I'll try to check that, I'll let you know what comes up. But is there any other possibility for the problem? Thank you very much Stefan.
Joyo
No, normaly not, btw. i do not know any possibility.
Stefan
power button
I tried to work on the power button, opened the device and take a good look at the switch, physically it looked just fine. Well, guess I just have to let that one go :? Thanks for the help Stefan.
Joyo
Hi thejoyo, have successful you recovered your wallaby? I have exact problem:
1. The device automatically enters bootloader 5.22, says GSM OK and then stop. Buttons dont work, except for two reset button.
2. Charge led (usually amber when charging) turn RED
3. I managed to flash the device by SD card method but did not success. When i put SD card into device and reset, it automatically flashed itself!!! Without my permission, didn't press OK button!!! It's very strange. Then it said that flash success, cold reboot. I press reset button and it enter bootloader again, like i have never flashed it.
I have tried many SD card, still no luck.
Should I try something else? Please suggest me what to do next!

BA not used for a long time, not stuck at boot screen

Hi guys,
I did not use my BA for a while and i turned it on recently after charging.
It is stuck on the Windows Mobile 6 Boot screen.
What can i do to get it out of that and go in to WM6?
Should I reflash the rom? My Computer doesnt detect the device though.
Thanks in advance for help
Kind regards,
Jason
Easyest way should be hard reset
did you try the two buttons on the left side + off/on at the same time ? - like you have to do immediately after flashing ?
ok ihave tried reseting from the pin hole from the bottom of phone and also tired resetting the bottom of the phone with the two left button held down.
all 3 options set to 'no' right?
still stuck at the windows screen.

[Q] HD2 not able to boot up, Show black screen

My HD2 is not booting up at all, just vibrate and show a black screen, I tried to load from USB but still the same, More over cannot even update any ROM as it hangs in 0%. I have my data (contacts n stuff) is there a way to remove everything and reinstall from factory ?? Even the factory hardreset didnt help me as i m able to restore by pressing the VOL up n down key + power key but it says 100% restore (which takes 3 - 4 sec.).
They seven vibrations is not a good sign. This is thought to be a tell tell sign that the device is having CPU malfunction, a corrupt NAND chip, or some other major hardware malfunction. The Hard reset that you tried is sort of proof too that your issue is a hardware problem cause if your processor or NAND either one are not working correctly it can cause the flashing problem you are having. If you have not tried to flash via SD card then try that. If you get the same results you will have to replace the mainboard or just scrap the HD2. I know that sucks but it is the truth.

[Q] Help me please Universal won't turn on

My uncle attempted to flash a new rom on his 64 bit and said he had it stuck in serial. I inserted battery and screen did not come on. I pressed soft both soft keys and reset unit goes to screen saying press either 0 or x I press 0 however unit just goes to a blank screen again. Never boots or does anything else. I have attempted to put in bootloader mode but to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get this thing working again. I am stuck as of now and have been messing with this for prob about four hours. I would greatly appreciate any help. I have exhausted all measures that I know of. Thanks for the help in advance

[Q] u8800 pro, Step 2/2 Installing, Update failed, bricked phone?

hi, i have this phone, i tried to update it, i got "update failed" message. Now i have this situation:

if i start with vol+/power i get a blue screen
I can access the microsd using an sd adapter
i can access the phone connecting it to my mac when it is in blue or pink screen, but i see an EMPTY 267 mb memory, i suppose i somehow deleted the phone system files (i remember folders like android, image...). Is there any way to solve this?
Thank you
Hi...i haven't an answer but i have you're problem.... HELP ME!!!
same here
Hello, no answer either but I have the same issue after updating my U8800Pro : blue screen on normal start which needs the battery to be taken out to restart.
When on pink screen and connected to the computer, I can only see an empty folder...
Let me know if there is any known solution.
Thanks
try to flash it without battery inserted. Just put your flash file into sd-card, put it into phone, pull out the battery hold "+" and "-" and at the same time insert usb cable. Wait until upgrade process starts. Thats it
