Task Scheduler - Mogul, XV6800 General

I am moving from a smartphone to a Mogul and I used to have a program called CTScheduler. Is there a good task scheduler out there for WM6 Pro? And free would be better.

Speed: Wisbar Advance 2 or SPB Pocketplus?

I was wondering if anyone tested both programs on his/her Prophet.
What I'm interested in is speed, which one uses less memory?
Is there a way you can see which app. is currently using X cpu time, memory?
Pocket breeze 5 is better, to close programs I use handy switcher

For CPU, have a look at Vidya Pocket Task Manager.
For RAM, I don't know of any; if you find something, please post it here.
I prefer WA2 for task management,very nice &useful .
and better too WA2 LITE , that is very very light for my S200
WA2 lite is OK, but new HandySwither (v2.7) is the best: only 11.9kb of program memory and fully one-hand operation. No problems with phone application and comm manager too.
To switch and close apps, I now use GSPocketMagic (very light and free), I mapped it to the start menu button, so I do not waste any buttons.
Hi All,
i use both WA2 & Spb pocket plus and both work quite well on my Jamin. do not use the WA Desktop since it is useless if you really want to use Spb plus the only problem i face with the Spb is that the actual themes will not show on the Meter bars (Battery, Memory, etc.)

What's your favorite plugin...

What's your favorite plug-in for closing apps [fully] such as Icbar, Giga Task, iTask, and HP Task Switch.
Also if you could, post a link for the download [for me and others to download and take your opinion]!!!
no love 4 me
While im sure the reason for the lack of love is due to the fact that this has prolly been asked before , I personaly like the O2 plus app for closing apps.
My Today Screen
I have played with a few Today plug-ins on my WM5 Vario II (T-Mob) and currently like this combo which as you can see is mainly Spb stuff:
Spb Mobile Shell - Nice interface with lots of features incl an excellent contacts manager.
Spb Phone Suite - profiles, photo id calling, basic comms control, notifiers
Spb Diary - calendar, messages, contacts...
Phone Dashboard - Allows easy tracking of phone and SMS use and helps you maximise (but not exceed) your monthly allowance. I am on a UK T-Mob 1Gb monthly data allowance so have no need track data but if you do then take a look at Spb GPRS Monitor which is good.
Bandswitch - (free) a very low memory tool that allows easy control of data connections, 2g/3g control. Excellent! Allows easy turn-off of data connection whilst overseas (to avoid high charges). Developed by Daniel Herrero who is working on better profile version with many more capabilities - Comm Manager Pro (CMP)
I have also used phoneAlarm (pA) and it is great. However, it is so powerful that it overlaps many of the features of the apps above and I am 'assessing' Spb Phone Suite at the moment.
I have no stability issues at the moment but did have a few lock-ups and failure to wake-up faults. I suspect that was because I had been running the betas of pA and CMP but cannot be sure.
Have fun testing..
I have a pretty "clean" today screen... i did search high and low for a good weather plug in. Found "Weather to go"... its really good. Takes up very little space and can show you up to 3 cities if you want (good for travelers).

WM task/process manager (like windows task manager) ???

Is there a task/process manager for windows mobile 5 similar to the Windows Task Manager (processes tab)? Sometimes when my Wizard slows down I want to see what app is using CPU or RAM. On windows I use the Task Manager (ctrl-alt-del or right click taskbar) to see the process list and sort it by CPU or RAM.
I'm not looking for one of the many WM5 "task switchers" like vbar pbar etc...

Which Task Switcher for WM6

Hi, can someone recommend me a suitable task switcher for WM6 builds? All the ones I've tried either killed things they shouldn't have with "kill all" while others looked bad.
Thanks!
Dinarsoft Handy Switcher
Try pBar 14; usefull also as task manager
or spb pocket +, iLauncher
Thanks everyone. I'm giving pBar a shot just now, I used to use an older version on 2003SE. And it's free!

Windows mobile process viewer from windows

well i have searched any answer but failed to find an application able to do the following thing : viewing on your dev machine what is running on your windows mobile, noticely to check memory consumption and cpu load. i only found applications doing so on the mobile. thanks.
I don't know about any other apps like this, but Visual Studio includes a Process Viewer that allows you to view processes, threads and modules and kill processes. It doesn't display memory or CPU usage though.
Fdcsoft task manager is free and has what you want.
