Nokia Maps Loaders - Maps Error? - P3600 General

Hi all,
I'm trying to load the maps with Nokia's Map Loader. I've installed WM5Storage and have run the Smart2Go program first as required. The program can see the SD card but after it downloads the maps and tries to install them on the card I get the error below.

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}

I had this problem a few weeks ago when I wanted to load the "Germany"-folder. After I loaded the separate countries in Germany one after another, the problem disappeared.

You need to be connected as a USB HUB(drive) to be able to insta.. At least thats how my NOkia N95 works, As a mass storage mode.
Im not sure anyway if Smart2go is windows compatible.

My experiense
I'v used the Smart2Go program together with the Egyptian Maps and some of Europe as well.
In order to load it on the card, I vv byed a USB Card Reader and put PDA SD card on it... and no problem...

Install Pocket breeze and SPB Pocket +

Please ,
is it possible to install these soft on storrage in stead of the Ram ?
if yes please how we can do it
Thanks
When installing them with the .exe, you can choose the destination. I wouldn't recommend to install these into the Ram since they are loaded often. Keep them in the RAM!
To force a particular path for installation of CAB files, use CABinstl which can be found at http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=17552&associateid=326.

The latest release of PocketBreeze (4.3.16) has a new feature that allows you to set the number of seconds to wait before loading the program so that your device's SD card is ready, which helps avoid errors.

Windows does not start

Hi all.
I have used Pocket Mechanic to defrag the SD card and it askd me if i want to reboot in safemod so i said Yes. After that windows does not start.
Here is the screen i get ... it's hanging like this....

}
(the sim and SD card have been removed, but it's the same screen with them in)
Any sugestions on how to solve this ?
Hard reset.....
And stop performing useless actions with software u don't actually need... So it won't happen again...
I was testing the application...
I did a hard reset, but i was looking for a way not to loose all the data
seems that the "safe" mode of Pocket Mechanic isn't that safe after all. It probably removes the necessary services needed to start the device. It's probably a bug of the software.

Large Files in my SD card !

Hi
for the second time, my mp3 files has been deleted and I see nothing when I open the Music folder from my phone..
but when I connect the device using "Disk Drive" connection, I see large files (some of them are 2 GB size and bigger ) and they are currupted, I can't delete,rename,move them !
however, the free memory still like before the problem happens,,
in the first time, I had to format my sd card..
I'm not ready to format it again because it takes alot of time to refill the card with files

waiting for your help
I have seen this issue with my HTC Touch Elfin. I can't delete these huge files via activesync as well, but I can delete them by directly putting the SD card on a regular memory card reader on desktop/laptop Windows.
The only suspect was the files corrupted whenever the HTC Touch hang and have to remove battery to soft reset it.

How do you mean damaged?
I suspect your memory-cards are fine just the file-system is damaged or formatted. If they are detected as a Device when you plug them in to your Computer download the "MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition". It's a freeware Program with which you can partition and format your SD-Cards.

[Q] Problem installing/updating apps

I have a rooted Droid X and I am trying to install apps from the market. When the apps get down downloading i get this error:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
This does not happen to all the apps, just some apps that i try to install. I also get this when i try to update some apps to.
Anyone have a idea what i could do to fix this?
I was getting that message as well. I searched around and found this bit of advice as a work around: just unmount the SD Card by going into Settings > Storage > Unmount SD card & download whatever you wanted, then just re-mount the card when the install finished. But I grew tired of that so I copied the files on my card onto my computer & used my DX to re-format the card. Then I re-loaded most of the files I copied & haven't had that problem since.
I hope this helps.
