Power on problem!! very annoying. Please HELP

when i first got my mda II it worked fine, but after an hour of so, after i turned it off, it wouldnt turn on again. after fiddling with it, i got it to turn on again by pressing the call button, then really quick after pressing the on button, but that only works sometimes. the only sure bet to turning it on again is a soft reset, which is VERY inconvenient... it anyone has any idea whats going on, PLEASE help me

Power on problem!! MDA II after upgrade to wm2003se

I've got the same problem. I bought MDA II with wm2003. Fiew days after I installed wm2005 but it was unstable and many programs didn't working correctly so I downgraded it to wm2003se. Everything looks quite ok except the problem with power on with no activity (sometimes it srarts with power_on+red_call pressed at the same time but after that green led no blinking).
Now this is:
ROM version: 2.06.00WWE
ROM date: 06/14/04
Radio version: 1.18.00
Protocol version: 1337.38
ExtROM version: 1.72.165
Is there any idea to resolve this problem?

Lossing phone signal

Hi
everyone does anybody have this problem the Xda Exec sometimes loss the network signal and then it does not connect to the network until you do a soft rest or go in to flight mode and back out and then it pick up the network.
I've try diffrent settings like connecting to the network manually does not work automatically some thing, any help.
The radio version that I have is 1.04.02
The Rom version is 1.13.48 WWE
The protocol version is 42.37.P8
The ExtRom Version is 1.13.139WWE

MDA Compact problem

hi
i have MDA T-mobile Compact PM200 PDA
Pda was not used for long time and battery was empty - o.oo V
I use charger and charge battery to 2,2V and take it to pda and charge with pda charger. after that pda works but when i enter pin and PDA hard reset when registering network
hard reset when registering network will not happen when there is no signal (pda is out of reach)
i try to upgrade ROM, radio but nothing
hard reset will happen whatever when pda is on charger or is not
ROM version: 2.6.2.27 WWE
ROM date: 3/9/06
Radio version: 02.69.21
Protocol version: 4.1.13.30
ExtRom version: 2.6.2.129

SnapVue hang-up because of modem

Hi all
I´m having a severe problem with SnapVue hanging up after 1-2 hours of being restarted.
It doesn´t matter in which state is Vista (or any other OS), if the screen is on or off, the state of "auto turn off" or the advanced network functionality setting mentioned in another thread.
It happened with the original ROM and is happening with PLIROM. No soft or hard reset will help. After 1-2 hours running, it hangs up.
To use recover from this state, I have to restart it from Vista´s ShiftControl or remove the battery.
The only way to keep it running without problems is turning the modem off. It took me a long time to find this!
My Shift is Spanish, from Orange (has no simlock tough) with the following device information:
ROM Version: 1.22.405.0 WWE
ROM Date: 12/08/07
Radio version: 1.58.21.23
Protocol version: 25.65.30.04H
Can you check the device info of your Shift for differences?
Any idea where the problem might be?

Did you remove the battery and let it without power for few minutes and started again on both the sides? If not I will strongly suggest that.

Imate pocket pc not turning on(i.e. not detecting SIM carrier signal)

I had turned it to flight mode and now its not switching back to phone mode.. I flashed a new ROM still doesnt work..
There are my specs
ROM version- 6.1.4.16.PV
ROM date- 06/29/08
Radio ver.- 1.14.00
Protocol ver- 1337.24
ExtROM- ather90_DE

just flashed radio verison 1.18.00 onto it still it isnt gettin the phone signal...
Help anyone??

hard reset?
power button + soft reset button
try that
flyboy
might not be right
also try camera button+record button+soft reset+dpad
then select no yes yes

I've hard resetted many times, I've even flashed new ROMS which led me to do the other hard reset as well(i.e NO,YES,YES), still doesn't help...
I've unlocked my sim using itsme's version, I've used the network wizard to specify settings of my country and network operator... still it isnt catching the signal.... Anything else I should be doing???
