Qtek S100 locks up using Media Player

Hi,
I converted a few DVD's to PocketPC WMV-format using DVDtoPocketPC. When I watch a movie (using MediaPlayer), after 20 minutes my entire Qtek S100 locks up. The only thing left to do is soft-reset the device. Once rebooted, I can watch the next 20 minutes, and the same thing happens again.
I un-checked every energy-saving option I could find, but still no succes. Does anyone have a clue?
TIA!

VC 1.5 causing slow SIP change in WM5.0

Hi,
Have anyone experienced their SIP (keyboard/letter recog/block recog/transcriber) slow to change after installing VC1.5?
Try this: tap the little triangle next to the SIP in the middle of the bar and change it to something else. Say u're using keyboard, click the triangle and change to transcriber. How long does it take to change? Mine takes about 3 seconds! (by counting 1001, 1002...).
VC1.5 is definitely the culprit, as I just removed VC1.5 & it's fast again. Did a hard reset, and installed VC1.5 as my 2nd application, and sure enough, it's slow again. My 1st application was just a softreset app.
Strangely, the 1st time I upgraded to WM5.0 1.60C (I'm using Xda2, btw), the SIP change was slow. Then after several months, I hard reset and the SIP change was fast. 2 days ago, I hard reset again, and now it's slow again.
Anyone have any ideas?
(posted this at another thread also, but maybe someone here can shed some light on this annoyance.)

M3100 running sloww

I've done a hard reset and stopped all the Orange software from loading. However I swear my phone is just way too slow. There's normally at least a second wait after you click on anything before it does something, tomtom is taking ~45 seconds to launch being the worst.
I know WM5 is slower than WM3 but is this really right?

How long should it take for Goodlink to start?

When I turn on my Cingular 8125 in the morning and it loads the GL software, sometimes it takes a while for Goodlink to actually connect and start pushing my emails to my device. I had GL 4.7 installed on the handheld, thought it was a GL software issue, and upgraded to 4.9. Same issue. Sometimes it can take 5 minutes before my messages begin to get pushed. Once it connects, it's usually pretty solid for the rest of the day. No other issues with the device. Everything works fine.
Is there a way to force my 8125 to connect to GL quicker when the phone is turned on in the morning?
Thanks,
GL startup on t-Mobile AND can you turn off GL?
I have MDA on t-mobile, 2.26, GL 4.9 and it takes about 1 min to startup and then another 30 seconds to start receiving.
Is there any way to turn off GL? When I go on vacation, it would be really nice to be able to disable GL. Just can't not look when on vacation.

Boot time after soft-reset ?

Can't remember if it was like that when I first got the Nike, but nowadays it takes a good 3+ minutes before I can type in my SIM pin code, after that it runs fine, anyone else have that problem ?
That's about the normal I think ... it takes me 2/3mins as well ...
thanks, will time boot time exactly the next time, can't remember another wm device being so slow. Kaiser can't be more than 1 minute.
Mine is currently taking 70 seconds - it very much depends on what you have installed and what starts at bootup.
