Nice registery tweak packed in one little proggram. Throw away all those little seperate files you're using. Here's DogFoods Tweak. It does at least work on WM2003SE, and on WM5.0 with some (OS) limitations. WM6.0 unknown, just try.

Hi guys,
i made up a little app that is targeted to include all features tips and tricks related to task management.
The app consists of a tray list with activate, terminate and refresh options that hides itself back to tray when the list is closed.
A small today plugin with storage and program ocupied memory (percentage). A tap on the plugin will popup a run window with browsing feature and also parameters edit box.
I also included a close red button with three options : Minimize, Close, Ok
The button is hidden for the today window, visible anywhere else.
Also a radio checkbox is added to the option that the window has by default.
There might be some bugs i did it all today so please get back with replies.
When i reach a stabble version it will be moved to teksoft server.
Some snapshots can be viewed:

Shortcuts are added for the titlebar close button and for traytasklist in programs list also to startup.
This version is only for 2005 devices.

Any ideas for improving this app? Somebody...
No feedback ...
One suggestion: Please make the program aware of the screen resolution; i.e. VGA/QVGA. It runs just fine on my HTC wizard, however, the icons are too large. Also, the run program command does not let me explore very deep into the file tree. I'll post more feedback as I explore the program further.
Thanks for the feedback. Noted. Waiting for other suggestions
Cheers,
Raul
Cool little app. I have a Wizard as well so the same problems regarding sizing occur for me. Here is my wishlist:
* Sort the items in the run / browse / tree so they are easier to find.
* Use a different window type/size for the run / browse / tree so it fills up the whole screen
* Add a 3rd column to TrayTaskList for memory usage (is this possible?)
* Allow sorting TrayTaskList items by memory usage / name
* Merge TrayTaskList / TekManager dialog into one program so that off of the Today menu the user can access the functionality of both programs. There would have to be tabs/buttons/menu/etc for flipping between them.
I look forward to the next version.

Will be added.

Will be fixed.

This is a little tricky but i think it can be done.

Yes this was in the plan of the new release.
I can't dump registry now but I tried and it's something with my OS - it doesn't remember what I set in Button applet.
Now it works and even I defined it for two different button and both works at the same time!
What should be visible in Button applet in settings when I assign one button for newmenu?
Broken Stylus? No problem!
Get organized now! Full one-handed operation!
Super productivity in one application

Try it! http://www.turboirc.com/ppc
Available for X86/X64/PPC/WM5+
cant find the download link
Great app. Thanks.
BTW, what type of maps this app uses?
Currently bitmaps (bmp/jpg/png etc) and in next versions I will hopefully use vectored maps like IMG etc.
It can't find my GPS on my sprint touch. Do I need a program like gpsgate to make the gps work?
This is a 1.0 release and is looking for people to try it out. The application allows for pinging a host, trace the path to a host, do Whois lookups on domain names, and even test ports. You can download it from http://www.securenetworksystems.com/SecurityTools/ and can get a demo license from http://www.securenetworksystems.com/SecurityTools/demo.aspx that will give you a week of testing the software. The image below shows a trace that is mapped out.
We are releasing this for testing before it goes up for sell, so any productive feedback is appreciated. Please note that full installation size is around 45MB (due to a database size), so it is a good idea to verify you have enough space on your phone/device or install to a storage card.

System Requirements:
* Pocket PC with Windows Mobile 5.x, 6.x Pro or later
* Compact Framework 2.0 or later
* Network/Internet Connection
* It is recommended that you have an unlimited data plan through your phone provider
* ~45MB of storage space for all features, more space is needed for map data and map data is downloaded on need basis
Latest Release (9/15/2009)
Enhanced: Finger control for the map (larger zoom buttons).
Fixed: Scaling issues for VGA/WVGA (large screens) in the port testing section and in the setup wizard.
Fixed: An error in setup wizard if Device is selected for tile cache location.
Fixed: If a service returned special characters (such as SSH) in port testing during a single port test, the entire message would not be displayed. The message is now shown without the characters that can’t be displayed.
I just added some additional picture so you can see some of the other cool functions of the application. The only thing that isn't shown here is the WHOIS lookup. Hope everyone is enjoying the free trial.
Nice tool to do simple troubleshooting while on the road.
The Whois gives a lot of garbage. It should search for the exact match. If people want more sites that aren't exact matches, wildcards should be used. Instead, a Whois for google.com gives no relevant data, and you have to do another search to get the info. The search gives things like google.com.zzzzz.download.movie.online.zml2.com, as well as addresses to porn sites.
Hello,
while we are all waiting for the next update to bring custom launcher support.
I found an app that will help allot people who want to see whats going on under the hood while gaming.
The app is called Cool Tool system stats and is free on playstore.
-no root required.
-you'll need an app like Transparent CPU Monitor to check which cpu core is heated the most so we can monitor it with the Cool Tool app lateron.
As the app doesn't ship with gpu stats and cpu temp stats i will explain how to monitor those using some paths inside the custom label feature.
keep in mind that the custom labels will only stick after you reboot the phone.
1. inside Cool Tool enable the 3 options seen in the image below
{

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2. enable the options shown in the screenshot below
and activate the already available ram and cpu clock option of cool tool.
3. to show gpu frequency:
- choose one of the 3 custom options inside the finetuning menu
- type "MHz" for postfix
- type "/sys/class/kgsl/kgsl-3d0/gpuclk" for path
- type "(\d+)\d{6}" for RegEx
4. to show gpu temperature:
- choose one of the 3 custom options inside the finetuning menu
- type "°C" for postfix
- type "/sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone10/temp" for path
- type "(\d+)\d{3}" for RegEx
5. to show cpu temperature:
- open the "transparent cpu monitor" app
- enter the "manually configure sensors" option
- scroll to the bottom and check which thermal zone (0-7) heats the most.
In my case it's thermal zone 6.
- choose one of the 3 custom options inside the finetuning menu of cool tools.
- type °C for Postfix
- type "/sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone6/temp" for path
- type "(\d+)\d{3}" for RegEx
Finally reboot and have fun.
You can easily arrange the values in the correct order by moving the slides up and down inside the fintuning menu.
This overlay won't be killed by the system even if you clean the recents menu and stress the memory.
It will also autostart at each boot.
You can test all the stats using the performance options in gamelauncher.
the Statusbar overlay can be placed differently horizontally and vertically so make sure to move it in the area in both perspectives.
- too avoid screen burn artefacts use high transparency, global white color and disable unneeded gauges.
- too avoid collisions with other elements inside statusbar place it like i did shown in the screenshots.
- i also use tab option to avoid the values to jump around on the screen. (this will disable fonts)
- i use a refreshrate of 0.5 and dont see any additional power loss.
This guide might work on other android devices too.

Hi there,
Thanks for the brilliant guide, I love tweaks like this!
Do you have any advice on how to show the Battery temp?
Thanks,
Sam
Edit: Found it! I just enabled the battery temp which was already setup in the menu.
I prefer to put the line of info on the navbar.
I mean if folk use a navbar, i can understand why its in tbe notification bar if you dont have a navbar enabled, but as i use a 3rd party launcher nav bar is there, so i add mine to the bottom under the home button.
