I have an SPV M700 and I'm trying to test out an app I'm coding on a dell axim X51v but I can't get GPRS/3G access via bluetooth. The dell PDA says there are no services available when I select my SPV in the connection setup.
I rang orange and they told me MS took the functionality out of the ROM. This sounds pretty rediculous to me and the guy couldn't really explain properly.
Are there any ROM patches that could fix this?

Hi folks, sorry if this has been asked before. I did a search before posting. Currently running Ipaq 3660 and Ericsson P800. With Orange (UK) with 30mg GPRS connection for eMails, Internet etc. Pretty usless eMail client on P800 so I have set up Ericsson as a Generic IrDA modem on Ipaq (pocketPC 2002). Everything works great, connection wise.
Thinking of purchasing 02 Xda II but O2 signal is weak near home base. Would only be able to use GPRS through Orange most of the time. Would I still be able to connect with the P800 through Xda II, as above or simliar i.e. Bluetooth connection with dialing into ISP.
In summary: Use the Xda as an eMail client and P800 as the modem?
Many thanks in advance.

I have just bought a O2 Atom Exec. Sometimes I am in an area where there is only DIALUP connection to my ISP.
Is it possible to connect to Internet via Dial up and if so, how can it be done?
Would be grateful for a learned reply.

Hello all,
I am not sure if this question has been asked in the past. However, I've tried to search a bit in the forum but failed to find the answer. So, I am asking you guys for help.
I have owned a X01HT with AKU 3.3 Dopod Hong Kong English ROM. I was able to use bluetooth on my old laptop to pair with my X01HT to share the GPRS connection, i.e. X01HT connects to the internet thru GPRS and then the laptops pairs the X01HT and share the GPRS connection.
And then, I have bought a all-new MacBook and would like to do the same thing with my MacBook and X01HT. However, I don't know where should I start. I have paired the Macbook and X01HT with bluetooth. But then I cannot find the network services which is provided by my X01HT.
Does anyone know how to share the GPRS connection with my X01HT on MacBook?
Many thanks for your help.
Cheers,
Bowen
I have a stock Orange SPV M3100. I've just got a Netgear DG834N Rangemax Next ADSL Modem/Router (set to 'Up to 270Mbps mode').
My Vario II running WM6 can connect to it, but my M3100 just freezes up after I put in the wifi password (it sees the AP OK).
Is this a known WM5 problem, or is my M3100 knackered? It is a bit beat up.
Thx.
My M3100 on WM6 (Schaps 4.01) does it fine.
