hi friends ,j got a big problem! Sometimes my Artemis doesn't reproduce sounds! j can hear only the phone calls. No music, no system sounds,no hands free calls were performed. J tried to make either soft and hard reset but the problem was the same! But j noticed that removing the battery for 5 or more hours the sounds returns, but only for few hours. Then sounds disappear again! Is there someone who have the same problem or suggest me the solution, because j change my TIM italian original rom whith a B&B rom and j think my guarantee become no more useful if j'd like to repair it!
Thanks !

After a hard reset on my hard spl'd X1 with generic UK rom my vibration is fooked.
on startup after a soft reset or power on it just goes click, for calls, sms and mms etc. it does the same thing.
Anyone else experienced the same problem and has a work around?
It looks like I may have to give it another hard reset and hope it works then, but only as a last resort.
But I doubt that would fix it as it seems like a hardware fault.
same problem, hard reset did not help for me. I returned it for a repair/replacement. 1 week to wait...
I have organised a replacement X1 that is coming on friday.
Can't believe the vibration unit just packed up in less than 3 weeks.
I hope it is not a common fault
I am not convinced about the torch problems.
My vibrate was working fine until I replaced the O2 ROM with hard spl and then the new generic UK ROM. Everything else seems fine - just no vibrate.
The new ROM does not seem to solve the Active Sync problems of sync between 2 PCs, though I believe that this is a Windows Mobile 5.1 issue.
Also, the new ROM does not seem to help the X1 get an O2 signal in locations where the XDA Orbit (I & II) never had a problem.
Any help apreciated.
Ian
i have the same problem, after hard reset didnt work the vibrator any more
when you turn on your X1, it vibrates for a while (very short one to indicate it's turned on)
is it vibrating at that time?
Have you by any chance installed hTorch? Seems to have crippled my SEX1's vibration function(great program nonetheless). Off to the repair shop
During a phone call today the microphone on my HTC HD2 stopped working - I can hear conversations fine but callers cannot hear me anymore - or only very faint. It works fine if I use a Bluetooth headset. By now I tried soft resets as well as also a hardware reset back to factory defaults with no success...I don't have a functional microphone on the unit itself. Anyone experienced this? Any ideas? Emailed HTC support with no response yet...
Thanks. TC

Try testing it with the voice recoder program, just to confirm its definately the mic..
Same thing - it does not record anything. What a a bummer...TC
speakers falling apart, mic's falling apart....
Seems alot of problems with this phone
Yeah, it is a great phone and I love the screen and resolution and responsiveness. But being able to make a phone call is still kind of important on a phone...
Now I get to ship this thing around the globe and hope to get something which last more then 10 days the next go around :-(
Hi i am also facing same problem from this morning any solution...i just bought it one week back...dont know what to do...

If you are in the USA there is usually a 14 day period (30 days in California). I highly suggest you run down to a tmobile store and have it replaced.
Tried rebooting (or even hard resetting) your device? Maybe its a driver or radio problem...
i heared installing fring or skype gives problem like this...is there any fix for that..

I used to have this problem with my Hermes when I installed WOW HD settings... try a hard reset and/or Task 29 and then use the same stock ROM or a cooked one... (do a backup first)
Did someone solve this problem and how?I`ve sent my phone 3 times for guaratntee repair and nothing.
I`m wondering if only people in this post had this problem?!?
Hi Everyone,
Has anyone found a solution for this problem? My problems started yesterday, the person on the other side can't hear me, while i'm still able to hear them. It started outta the blue, it was fine and just stopped working, without any changes at all.
I have tried 4 different radios and 3 different roms and still the same. Also tried using voice recorder with every change made and nothing happened.
i Bought the phone while on a trip and do not have any warranty or proof of purchase.
Getting desperate!
EDITED:
Hey Everyone,
I think i have just found a solution (kinda).
As is said i was getting desperate, so i got a toothpick and stuck into the microphone hole and voila, it worked!!!! well i don't know if i might have damaged anything or this probably won't do any good for the phone or the microphone but it worked for me. please try at your own risk.
Thanks alot, bro, it helped me!
Hi,
About a week ago I got my new HD2. It's taken me quite a while to set it up just how I like it so I don't really want to have to hard reset unless I really have to... but the problem is that people can't hear me during phone calls. I've tested it myself and when speaking on the phone the volume from my end is ridiculously quiet. I can still record my voice at regular volume and everybody tells me the sound was fine earlier on in the week so it's got to be something that I installed or a registry tweak I made but I don't know which one...
That's why I'm here asking for help. Has anyone else had a similar problem?
In my opinion it might be something to do with WOW SRS but I haven't tested that theory yet...
Well it wasn't WOW SRS. I've tried uninstalling it and it made no difference... Any suggestions would be welcome.
.. I really don't want to have to hard reset.
I've tried uninstalling a few more programs... Still no luck. Unless anyone's got any suggestions I think I'll have to hard reset and start over.
Well I finally decided to hard reset my phone... I did it expecting the problem to be solved but sadly it wasn't so it looks like I might have to send my phone back :'(
Not that it's much help to you now (sorry!) I've had similar experiences with my HD2 but a soft reset cured it for a while. I ended up hard resetting and reinstalling. The only advise I would have is to have a serial of backups to fall back on if you suddenly find a problem. I've learnt this over the years of winmo use.....
The hard reset hasn't helped. I've been reading about microphone AGC settings that can be deactivated but I can't find them in system settings where they should be so I haven't been able to try that yet...
Quick update.
If anyone seems to have the same problem you can probably save yourselves some time and just send the phone back... I've bee told that it's almost certainly hardware failure so it's been sent back for repairs/replacement.
And on a side note SFR are bastards. Don't expect a standard exchange (for a phone less than 7 days old) from a shop whatever the customer service hotline people tell you...
Hi !
I had a problem for 2/3 days. On my Omnia, my handset speaker didn't work anymore. So when I have an incomming call, it isn't practice to take it with the loud speaker.
I had this problem 4/5 months ago, and I resolved it via Diagnosis with the MP3 test (*#0673#). So it was a software problem. But this time, I think it is a hardware problem. I did the MP3 test, I formatted (with MAGLDR bootloader, I had the mi7rom), but nothing...
Do you think it is a soft or hard problem ? Do you know any issue if it is soft ? It is warrented yet, but if I can resolve this problem without send it...
Format with MAGLDR is the same that hard reset ? I will test hard reset later I think... Or change ROM maybe...
Thank you !
If you have done that much, I think the next step is to restore a stock backup and send the phone to samsung service center. Good luck with resolving your problem.

I also experienced this. Hardware failure. The speaker had to be changed. I was lucky the phone was still covered by the warranty ( 2 years by SFR provider )
