For those, who want to connect via BT stack. Yes it is not so clear about the APN,but this will connect via your default internet connection, that you're using on the go(The APN is described there):
1.Pair your Himalaya with a PC.
2.Start the Wireless Modem app.and choose Bluetooth. Then tap to Start button. Your device must be in Discoverable mode!
3.Now in computer click to the 'My Bluetooth Places' icon on the desktop.
4.Open the connected Himalaya and click to the SSA service.
5.Now the connection window will appeared. Choose the *99# as a dialed number and click to Dial.
That's it.
help please.....i want to access the internet on my Notebook using the GPRS connection of my pocket pc....
thankx
first activate ur gprs with the service provider then on the wireless modem tap start then connect it to ur pc via usb cable but check that activesync connection mangers option to connect via cable is unchecked then install the modem driver for ur universal provided in the cd and go ahead by creating a dialer along with ur service providers settings provided and its done .

I have tried connecting via Bluetooth and USB but both fails , sometimes it says network connection is temp not available & sometimes unable to connect etc etc. In my connections, i have "Internet" as my default connection and it has my HTTP proxy settings that i use on PC over this LAN. What else can i try , can i delete all my connection settings and re do them from scratch for this ?? Any help & steps for this plz ?

im using my hd2 as a modem with usb connection , everything goes well , my phone get connect to gprs , my pc (WINDOWS 7) connect but no internet acsses.
whats the problem
Do you use the function "internet sharing"? It´s the easiest way to do what you want. Using it as modem via USB is not very practical...
