Hello,
I'd like to buy the BackPack. But it isn't available yet.
The question is: will I be able to use PockePC applications in hires mode on TV od LCD?
Originally the backpack supports higher resolution only in presentations or viewing pictures and documents. But the same situation was with the Toshiba800e and its hires 480x640 display - but after some software hack users can use most of applications in higher resolution. Most of PocketPC applications (word, excel, iExplorer, ...) can be used in higher resolution - we know it from software resolution enhancer such as Jimmy's or Nytidot.
So, does anybody know if it is going to be possible to use MDA2+BackPack with the TV or VGA monitor in better resolution? In combination with bluetooth wireles keyboard it will be great solution! Sitting in armchair, BT keyboard in my hands, MDA2 connected to the TV, browsing, wording, exceling, mailing, ......

Hey! I've just read the Toshiba e800 review and when hacked, almost all applications work fine in 480x640. Can I expect the same miracle with MDA2+BackPack+TV or VGA monitor?
Hi guys, im new to the forum, and ive had my atom for around 2 months.
I seem to have a problem with videos!!
how do i make a video fullscreen? ive checked teh box that allows you to allow stretch to full screen, though the video still stays the same size.
ive encoded a few videos in .3gp @ 320x240, and even then, its still a really small size. any ideas?
is the atom VGA (640x480?).
i dont know your specs, but all universal's have a small WMP.
you can try using TCPMP.
in WMP option screen (video) choose "Play video in full screen always" or during plaing video - tap the screen shortly.
thanx for that, that new player works a treat, heaps better then WMP
simon_darley, do some Atom's come with VGA resolution? I'm about to buy one and haven't seen them...

Hey All
Searched around, but wasn't able to find any info on how to convert a games resolution from 480x640 TO 480x800 or change the resolution on my TD2 to 480x640.
Installed Orions but realized the screen is cut off
Any suggestions? Is there something i can do to the registry?
Try this:

Thanks again though
Hello,
I tested some android builds and saw that some of them can shoot video in 840x480, the native screen resolution on HD2. That also looks nice on widescreen displays, at least more nicer then 640x480.
I wander, is it possible to tweak some registry settings to allow the camera to shoot videos at this resolution in windows mobile?
[bump]........
aah, i gues the correct resolution would be 800x480. anyway can it be enabled in winmo?
