I read several posts, but without real solutions.
Maybe someone can help us all.
Dutch people with an Artemis that is stuck at the first splash-screen need the original dutch HTC Rom. It doesn't exist as far we can find. It's not a t-mobile or something, just not branded. If anyone has a WM5 original dutch we would be glad also.
The problem is we want to flash with USPL to other WWE rom, we can get into bootloader mode without problem. It get stuck at 3% when trying to flash rom.
When running USPL it asks to copy the same files again several times, and then gets stuck at 50..... with 2 error messages, cannot copy cmd.exe or something.
My question is : does anyone know the real solution or has original HTC rom?

Hi Innovator,
I expect within a few days/weeks HTC is going to release the official Dutch WM6 update. That update should work on your device as long you are able to get into the bootloader.
Otherwise: repair under guarantee

but the solusion is simple
ik have flashed first the phone with orginal rom wwe wm5
after then uspl than WWE wm6
thats a rom i found on the forum and it works like hell
on dutch:
ik had het zelfde probleem heb het vandaag opgelost
ik kon nog wel in de bootloader komen dus dat was nog okee
ook ik had het zelfde probleem dat de rom update bij 3% afbrak met een fout melding
dat heeft volgens mij te maken dat het een verkeerde rom versie is
ik wilde van de engelse versie een nl versie maken dat ging dus helemaal fout
ik hoop dat je wat aan deze info hebt

i've got a device that is stuck on the vodafone logo.

tried Rom upgrade to several roms (through bootloader) - the procedure stopts at 2% with the message " Error[294] : invalid vender ID"

En als je NL bent dan ben je genaaid want dan kan je niet aan de originele ROM komen. Dus zou je hem naar HTC moeten sturen en die bieden geen support op Vodafone branded toestellen. En btw vodafoon zelf ook niet. Dus dan ben je genaaid. Einde HTC totdat vodafone WM6 update uitbrengt of de originele wm5 ROM vrij geeft. Best lullig maar leg hem maar in een kast en blijf vodafone bellen.
btw als je het forum eerst had gelezen dan wist je dit voordat hij gebricked werd.

hi all, my mda compact 3 (p3300) i half death i think. i put the BLACK & BLUE v5.0 ROM a week later my phone vreezes and i wanne put the phone on but the screen uhh fals away disapears i can't explane in english so in it dutch:
de scherm valt weg lijkt net als de batarij te zwak is maar dat kan niet ik heb al een andere batarij gerobeerd
t-mobile logo zie je en zakt weg tot een wit scherm of hij start iets veder dan zie je het de t-mobile log of de windows mobile logo wazig

Van de Pharos zijn nog geen nederlandse roms in de omloop. Er is wel al eerder een Dump gemaakt door dr Strangelove hier op het forum. Hij wist alleen niet hoe hij ze moest ombouwen tot een flashbare rom. Ik heb dat zelf nog niet geprobeerd dus ik weet ook niet hoe het moet verder.

I've read your post but I'm not really sure what you're missing. I know what AGPS is but I've never seen anything mentioning it on the Pharos. The reconstructed rom found here is an exact dump of the original system so if it's not in there then I'm afraid I can't be of much help.

x.x.404.x denotes the area
Your ROM is as current but there is an 'offical' ROM as yet unreleased by HTC floating around here on XDA and HTCPedia series x.53.x.x tried by quite a few people here with mixed response. See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=636045

I believe you will need HARD SPL to flash your phone if you are trying to use one from a different country but not otherwise.

You have to go to HTC's site and enter your S/N, it will point you to your stock ROM for your region (if available), then you would NOT need to flash HSPL.

You could try with a NAND version that has been developed by Fagyi in the Development Forum: "[ROM] {NAND} AOSP-GBX | < Kernel: 2.6.27 > | 2013.01.20."
All the peripherals are working OK, and there are some minor issues that are being debugged and tested at this moment. There is a clear step by step manual for installation.
The only disadvantage is that you will lose windows mobile operatin system definitely. But you will be running with a real Android.
