On the HTC-website I saw a new stock ROM-update for the Touch Diamond 2.
They write it down like: Touch Diamond 2 (Vodafone) Is this specialy for Vodafone users, Vodafone devices

Releasedatum: 2009-12-08 Categorie: ROM Upgrade
Een geactualiseerde rom is nu beschikbaar als download voor gebruikers van HTC Touch Diamond2. Net als altijd streeft HTC ernaar haar klanten de best mogelijke mobiele ervaring te bieden.
Instructies voor installatie:
Rom-versie:2.16.172.1
Voordat u verder gaat, bevestigt u dat deze softwareüpgrade een nieuwere versie is dan wat momenteel op het toestel is geïnstalleerd. Als het dezelfde versie is en uw toestel functioneert normaal, is het niet nodig de software opnieuw te installeren.
U kunt controleren welke versie op uw toestel is geïnstalleerd door te klikken op Start > Instellingen > tabblad Systeem > Apparaatinformatie > tabblad Versie. Lees vervolgens de rom-versie, cpu en radioversie.

My ROM is 2.16.404.1 (67041) NLD. The one from the website is:2.16.172.1 Is that a newer version?

x.16.x.x denotes the version
x.x.404.x denotes the area
Your ROM is as current but there is an 'offical' ROM as yet unreleased by HTC floating around here on XDA and HTCPedia series x.53.x.x tried by quite a few people here with mixed response. See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=636045

I believe you will need HARD SPL to flash your phone if you are trying to use one from a different country but not otherwise.

You have to go to HTC's site and enter your S/N, it will point you to your stock ROM for your region (if available), then you would NOT need to flash HSPL.

I understand that. Just want to know if I must flash my device with using a pfficial dutch ROM from htcpedia.com with manila 2.5.

zou iemand mij mischien kunnen helpen met mijn g1?
na een update van mijn opstart menu die van ongeveer 800kb.
Die je voor je rom moet doen. Start mijn g1 helemaal niet meer op.
Hij komt niet verder als het t-mobile scherm heb alle knoppen op de telefoon al gebrobeert maar deze werken ook allemaal niet meer na die update.
ik ben er al mee naar een t-mobile winkel geweest maar die kunnen mij niet helpen om dat die simlock vrij en root vrij is gemaakt.
mischien iemand hier het zelfde probleem gehad? mijn exusses dat het in het nederlands staat want mijn engels is nog erger

Sounds like genius didn't read my writeup about bricking and has his phone stuck in boot-recovery with a broken recovery partition.

okee ik kan je wel helpen, maar snap niet helemaal wat je had gedaan. wat was de naam van de update die je had geinstalleerd? probeer ook de home button tegelijkertijd met de power button indrukken als ie uitstaat. als hij helemaal niet werkt, ga je gewoon naar de t-mobile winkel. gewoon zeggen dat je er niets mee heb gedaan maar dat hij niet meer start, kijken wat ze zeggen. je kan het altijd proberen.
in het gevolg, als je geen van de helpvolle guides op het internet verstaat, probeer dan geen dingen met je telefoon te doen die hem kunnen beschadigen.

Ik heb navigon 3.5.2 gekocht in de market en ik ben er zeer tevreden over. Nu zit er alleen een verschrikkelijke stem bij. Een half limbursch en half Duitsch.

Nothing happends when i click HARET_PHOTON7227 29-04-11

i have copied everything on a kingston sd card. i formatted the card first. When i click on HARET_PHOTON7227 nothing happend. i only see a loading bar that gets till the end but than my phone starts windows mobile and nothing happends. what's the problem?

but when i read the treats i see everywhere problems, most things not working or damage your phone. is it nog smarter when there is a good android rom or just buy a android phone. Then you have no problems no stress just a gut original android phone.

Factory settings.
So I guess you do not know what actually caused the problems. What do you mean with no internet? No internet at all (wifi should work) or no 3G/GPRS (this does not work yet)

Superzuan (and others), really stop spamming the whole forum. You are annoying everybody. This Android version is a work in progress, it's not a finished product, so don't expect it to work without using your brains. If you don't have them, or don't want to use them, STOP HERE. You should be grateful that the devs even publish the development versions here. You are free to test the versions, ask questions on the designated places, but don't ask stupid questions over and over again without using the SEARCH function of this forum!

ja begrepen heb ik het wel. Zoals ik al eerder aan gaf is ook terug te lezen met de search functie, dat ik nieuw ben en voor het eerst zo een hele forum mee maak. Werk sinds pas met een pc dus heb nog erg weinig verstand ,mijn excuses. zal niks meer vragen ciao

Jammer van zo'n houding, want niemand probeert je weg te jagen, maar dit verhaal gaat op voor alle beginners. Iedereen moet ergens beginnen, en daarvoor zijn er diverse plekken op dit forum waar uitgelegd wordt hoe je moet beginnen en hoe te gedragen. Wat je niet hebt mee gekregen is dat afgelopen 2 a 3 maanden dit forum overspoeld wordt door nieuwe mensen. Dit komt door het hele Android verhaal voor de Mini. Keer op keer worden dezelfde vragen gesteld en daarbij ook de developers forums vervuilt met niet relevante vragen. Dit wekt irritatie op en de leesbaarheid van het forum gaat ook snel achteruit.
Lees je gewoon eerst eens rustig in op het onderwerp, doe zelf een beetje onderzoek. Als je een vraag hebt, kijk eerst even of die al niet vaker gesteld is. En daarna kan je je vraag posten (met uitleg wat je zelf al hebt geprobeerd) op de plek die ervoor bedoeld is. Deze aanpak wordt vele malen meer gewaardeerd door iedereen dan klakkeloos vragen posten. Je zal zien dat je dan eerder een zinvol antwoord krijgt op je vraag. Succes!

Freezing chinese android car radio / Vastlopen chinese Android autoradio

Hello, Can someone help me further? I bought a chinese android car radio prelingcar android elus 3g32g for ford mondeo now it runs for a few days then the orange light of the heating head/window comes on and i can no longer make calls and control the volume. I have removed all the downloaded apps and factory reset also I have had a canbus update from aliexpres and a software update, if I do the updates it is good for a few days and then it crashes again. Only my google account is still there, could it be that? greetings Peter

Ik heb een chinese Android autoradio gekocht prelingcar android Elus 3g32g voor ford mondeo nu hij loopt op een paar dagen dan gaat het oranje lampje van de verwarming hoofd/venster branden en kan ik niet meer bellen en het volume ook niet meer regelen. Ik heb al de gedownloade apps er terug afgedaan en fabrieksinstellingen gereset ook heb ik van aliexpres een canbus-update gehad en een software-update gehad, als ik de updates is het goed voor een paar dagen en dan loopt hij terug vast. Enkel mij google account staa er nog op zou het daar aan kunnen liggen?
