'canned text' file on SPV M5000 - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro General

I accidentally deleted the 'canned text' file on my M5000. I think it's used in email templates but have never seemed to have needed it. Can anyone please email a copy to me, along with which directory it was in, so I can put it back?

Canned text file
Problem solved. A second copy of the canned text.txt file existed in the Windows directory. I was able to copy and paste it into the my documents/aucontent directory which is where I accidentally deleted it. A similar (but different) file exists on pther SPV models in both directories. In the M700 it is called 'cannedtext_0409.bin'.

Cannot find IA_CID_StartUP?

Yesterday I did hard reset on my magician, I installed few frograms (Pocket Plus, Wisbar Advance 2..) and today after each soft reset I'm getting this error message:
"Cannot find IA_CID_StartUP.exe... "
I found shortcut of this file in Windows\StartUp folder but where is the original file (I didn't find the file with Resco Explorer) and where the original file needs to be (which folder)?
What's this all about, and does anyone knows how to fix this problem?
Thank you!
in the windows folder

Can you send me this file on my e-mail?
Problem solved!
I've deleted IA_CID.. shortcut file from Startup folder, and now everything works perfect (no error message anymore). I wonder what purpose has this missing exe file; I hope - nothing important 8)

HELP with FingerSuite

I am currently using FingerSuite on my HTC Touch. There are two parts to the suite, one is for "menus" and the other for "pop-ups". To prevent running the program each time I had to soft reset my phone I copied the .exe file for the 'MsgBox' program (which provides a more finger friendly interface for errors that give pop-ups) and placed this in \Windows\StartUp. However, by placing the .exe file in the 'StartUp' folder the program doesn't seem to run. When a pop-up should appear (eg. for confirmation of deleting a file; Yes or No) the screen simply freezes. This, I understand, is because I should have placed the .lnk file in the 'StartUp' folder instead as it requires other files in the same folder which are missing in 'StartUp'. Unfortunately I am unaware of a way to disable FingerSuite once it is running and because of this I am unable to delete the file I have placed in the StartUp folder.
Sorry for the poor description of my problem.
Is there any way in which I can remove this file I have placed in the 'StartUp' folder? I don't want to have to hard reset my device but if there is no other way then I suppose I will have to.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Alex
Nevermind, I managed to delete the file once I ran my device in Safe Mode.

HELP,HELP,HELP:Pro2 folder disappeared after rename the folder(add a dot)

The most weird thing i ever encountered today with my HTC Pro2.
I renamed the folder "Beauties" to "Beauties." with Resco File explorer 2008 (note there is a dot after Beauties).
The Original path is" Storage card/Pictures/Personal pictures/secret/Beauties".
After existing Resco Explorer,I went back to see the folder again, jesus christ, the folder has gone! just disappeared without a trace.
I tried all means, soft reset,Resco Explorer, show all the files and folders, Resco photo viewer, connected with PC etc etc,all of them cannot find this "Beauties." folder.
Inside this Beauties folder, there are many pictures that I collected over years,no no I dont want to lose them.
Is this bug?
Am I being cursed? (lots of porn pictures in this folder as well)
How to get my folder back??? please help, help, help!!!!!!!!!
If there is a way to get the folder back, maybe we will have a best way to enscrypt folders?
Why don't you sync with your computer and use the MS ActiveSync to explore your phone? It is much easier on the eyes to look for a file on your computer screen than on your phone.

thanks for suggestion,As I said,I tried all means, including your suggestion. Got nothing.
no idea what could have happened.
folders with a period show up fine on my tp2, both in explorer and commander, never used resco though.
ne how, before you do anything else, do the following
remove the sd card,
plug it into a pc,
run a data recovery program on it.
tried everything,no cure for it.
My conclusion is that after you add period(dot) at the end of the name of the folder, this folder is deleted forever.
A bloody lesson.
Bye bye pictures,bye bye ladies.
Hmm . Files may be gone..
but I'd try another file explorer app if I was you
Total Commander --> http://www.ghisler.com/pocketpc.htm
You sure you renamed it xxxxx. and it took? Perhaps you did a typo (accidentally touch the touchscreen thereafter and it's called something else your not expecting?)
this just happened to me today using resco file explorer!!! dot on the end of a folder bam!!! all folder is gone!
bring it back
if you ever do this again press ctrl+z to get back the folder, it happened with me so being a photoshop freak instantly went for the keys and thankfully got the folder back with the old name, still cant understand what's happens when you put a dot (.) at the end of a folder name.
Ps. this will only work for a few mins after the rename before any other changes are made after which it is useless
