Hi,
As you all know, Vista support the Network Layer Authentication - RDP 6 Clients.
I have a Vista computer at home, published to the internet by DynDNS.org Router
I wan't to be able to access it through the internet by my Mobile 5 Device but want to keep it secure as possible.
What is the best way (And is there an RDP 6 Client for Mobile 5) ?
Thanks.
Or.
Has anyone been able to properly communicate with Apple Remote Desktop from a WM device?
I can succesfully communicate with Apple Remote Desktop (v3.1 on MacOSX) through my WinXP desktop PC through the Real VNC client (be it with full resolution hence slow), but none of the WM versions (Mocha, Real VNC, vnc viewer etc.) seem to allow connection...
Any suggestions?
i am looking for an ssh client for windows mobile that can do port forwarding so i can ssh and then rdp to my desktop pc.
Anybody know of any programs to do this?
pocketputty doesnt seem to offer this option
Pocket PuTTY
I use Pocket PuTTY and have it integrated into my ROM:
http://www.pocketputty.net/
It's been a while since it was last updated but if it's just Telnet/SSH terminal access you want I can't fault it.
Andy
There are two versions of PocketPutty. One has a simple username and password interface and the other has all the goodies.
ADB100 linked to the good one.
PocketPutty does it for me, just need to set up the tunnels before logging in.
Hello people....I'm looking for an APP that let me manage my PC Desktop over WiFi, I mean, no internet connection or server through like does Team Viewer...
Something like HOST and CLIENT using only WiFi connection...
any idea?
thanks in advance
Xtralogic did a Remote Desktop Client to control your PC via your phone - worked over wifi (assuming both PC and phone are on the same wifi)
Is that what you mean?
Failing that I did try LogMeIn once which seemed ok cross wifi networks
Realvnc or any other vnc server on your desktop.
Androidvnc or any other vnc client on your phone.
I have installed Xtralogic on my phone already, but which one do you recommend for serving like HOST or Server on Windows PC?

Click to collapse
It just uses the native windows RDP stuff - just needs enabling on the pc - i.e. right click my computer, properties, remote connections, allow remote connections.
As mentioned already, I heard VNC is good too.
Try team viewer
wyse seems to have the best interface (ive seen) and is simple to use.
you can get remote desktop with just google user name.
I used to use remote RDP enterprise which was also good.
