Hey all!
I'm having an annoying problem.
Sometimes, when i go to my contacts, they just disappear.
I click on the contacts button and the list appears empty... A soft reset usually solves the problem but it's VERY annoying.
I'm currently running dopod's WM6 rom, but it also happened before with the original rom.
Any ideas?

Got my MDA yesterday and used it for a day before I setup ActiveSync.
Everything worked fine prior to the first ActiveSync. After the syncing my MDA crashes when I tap to the "Sounds & Notifications" icon and than select the "Notifications" tab.
A soft reset will get the device working again, but it will crash again if I go to the "Notifications" tab. The same thing happens when in phone mode and I select "Menu>Options".
I have done multiple hard resets and all is well after the hard reset until I again try to ActiveSync and than the problem returns.
Any Ideas?
Problem Solved!
Well I resolved my problem. I will post the solution here in case, for some bizare reason, this happens to anyone else.
It turns out that the culprit was an item in Outlook Notes that most have been currupted and was causing the crash.
I had to do a hard reset of the MDA and a complete uninstall/reinstall of AS on the PC. I then performed multiple syncs adding a catagory of data (i.e contacts, calendar, notes,etc) with each sync. My intial hunch was that the problem was with my Calendar data/alarms. But lo and behold it was notes.
I simply deleted all notes fromt he MDA and my issue was resolved..no more crashes. I then went back into Outlook and cleaned up my Notes by deleting a few things and renaming some others and now all is well.
Hi all. After installing the new Imate ROM 2.16.9.1, it appears that any email account I create under outlook disappears after a soft reset. I've already tried a hard reset, but the problem still exists. Does anyone have any ideas? I do not have any EXT roms running at the moment. Could the fact that I'm missing an important CAB be the reason? Please help. Thanks much.
This happens on different ROMs after hard-resets.
Just re-upgrade your device using PC installation first. And after setting up your mail accounts perform safe soft-reset (stop messaging application; power off your device; wait ~30secs; soft-reset the device)
I ahev the same problem. Same rom. After each reset the email accounts disapear.
Really Annoying !
Seems like my problem went away...I basically just created the account, used it a bit, waited overnight before doin a reset and it managed to stick. So just be patient i guess.
Hi all
Recently, out of the blue after I installed PocketClock I start to encounter this problem. My alarms or reminders do not show up on the screen, they only RING ALL TOGETHER at once when I sync with the desktop PC.
Anyone have any solutions?
Just to add: I only have "messages" and "device lock" for my today plugins and usually have no other running programs in the background.
I have done a soft reset and tested it but the problem is still there
I did email Dopod but no reply from them!
Make sure that your active sync is optioned not to overwrite device when there is a conflict.
Yeap, I have done that and even tried the "hack" through Tweak2k and tried to remove the duplicated notificatios..but its still the same..sigh

I did a hardreset and restored via Sprite, the reminder came up again but once when I synced them they disappear!

Hi Guys, i have a small question, i am using TNT.SE, sometimes, after running Live MSN on my JASJAM, when i open my contacts, i find them empty!!, i go out and come back, and it's the same, after doing a soft reset it works out, can any one help in solving this?
hello, just recently i have had a strange problem with outlook.
When pressing the email in sense it does not open my email and when i view all messages it will not open from there, searched the forums end tried the lock trick didn't work!
soft reset does not fix the issue, i think only a hard reset will resolve this but before i do for anyone else having this problem id see if there is a quick fix out there which has not been mentioned before.
all was working with no problems, then this suddenly started, and it won't let me compose a message, but it still is syncing with exchange just doesn't open the mail.
I'm running the eguarna rework rom, its been fantastic except for the strange fault.
