Hi Guys :
After install the omega battery pro. O2 wisebar move to lower right corner automatically and something wrong displayed on the upper right corner. However, after remove the battery pro program, O2 wisebar cannot be resume to the original location at the upper right corner. Something wrong with my rom? or bugs?
Just do a factory reset on your unit and re-install everything again.
Try uninstalling the Wisebar first then reinstalling it.
If that still doesn't work then do the factory reset.
Thanks, but I don't want to factory reset, any other suggestion

Hi,
I flashed my phone to the 1.61 from 1.43, and suffer huge slowdowns at times.
It seems to be when the device is woken up & unlocked, the lock screen remains, and Sense / apps perform extremely slowly. I'm forced to reset to fix the problem.
Just out of curiosity (before I 'downgrade' to 1.48), anybody else had the same problems?
Many thanks,
Daniel.
ever tried clearing the caches out (opera etc)
161 is fine for me..
+ 1 for me too. No problem with slowdown. I clean regurarly using SK Tools.
Cheers guys, I'll try SK Tools out.

did you hard-reset after flash?
Should you always do a hard reset after a flash? Didn't know it was needed. I had assumed a flash was effectively the same as a hard-reset!
The flash only rewrites the ROM! It does NOT erase the "c:"
It is like to install a new os without formating the partition first! All files left by the previous build are still there and this may cause issues!

If you flash with the stock RUU, it does a hard reset for you. If you use the "customRUU" it doesn't do a hard reset.

Oh! so whenever we flash a new *official* ROM, we do not need to do a hard reset?

whenever you flash using the exe direct from htc you don't need to hard reset.
when you flash using sd card or using the custom ruu then you ned to manually hard reset
But regarding the slow down, yes I have the problem and I think its related to all the syncing with email/facebook/weather/etc... If you are on a G reception then it will take longer to download these updates, and if you have power saving option enabled then it will do this after the device "awakes" as it won't do it as well in Standby as it is power saving.
I've used BSB Tweaks and disabled the option which seemed to work for me

Cheers for your reply - so you disabled the power saving option? What effect does this have on battery life?
Dan.
I am getting this message repeatedly. Problem is my charging port is not currently working. any fixes for this without accessing features using the charging port? Thanks, ARB

Agree because a hard reset will reset everything what you changed in the settings etc bring it back to the settings from the factory or rom maker, Also it will delete everything.
Hello,
Since I rooted my Nexus 4 when I try to use google now i keep getting the error " Unfortunately, Google Search has stopped."
What can I do to correct this?
Thank you for any and all help
Try clearing cache and dalvik cache first, if that don't work delete Search app and download again from Play Store.
Thank you for the reply.
I tried all of the above but it still does it.
When you say uninstall, do you mean "updates" or completely remove the app from the system?
Thanks!

You can try to do a factory reset, remember to do a backup before.
If you do only the factory reset (wipe data) you don't have to root again but maybe you have to reinstall the superuser management app (like Supersu or superuser) if it wasn't installed in system.
If this won't work try to flash again the rom.

Hey there.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this problem with your phone. Either your hardware is damaged or your software. My best guess is your software, seeing as your phone's touch screen stopped working right after you conducted a hard reset. Perhaps you can get your touch screen working again by flashing your original firmware through KDZ.
If you've got anymore problems and/or questions, feel free to ask!

That's gonna be a really big problem, I think. Can you boot into CWM and do a full factory reset along with wiping your cache and dalvik cache?

You said you conducted a hard reset on your phone which is what initially possibly caused your touch screen to stop working. Try to perform the exact same steps and conduct a hard reset again.
