AT&T splash screens - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

Please tell me if I'm losing my mind.
I spent the better part of this afternoon browsing around the forums to gather the information I needed to attempt my first upgrade to WM6. While I was doing that, I stumbled across a set of splash screens with the new AT&T logo with a white or black background, with a reflection below. In my infinite wisdom, I didn't bother bookmarking it and moved on. Now I can't find it. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about? Maybe I saw it somewhere else...I don't know. If anyone else has a better memory then I, please remind me of where I found it.

Awesome, that's the one I was looking for. Thank you!
Maybe I shouldn't have restricted my search to the Wizard forums. I didn't think I strayed into the Hermes forums.

Removing lines between sections on Today screen...

Do you know those lines that split the different sections of the today screen on the Wizard?
My today screen would look so clean if I could get rid of those.
I've looked for a couple weeks and can't find the answer.
Is it a reghack? A problem with a Today theme?
How can I remove those?
Thanks
There's a huge thread in this forum with the subject "My Today Screen"--its got something like 20 pages and growing, but reading though there should give you lots of ideas. I'm no expert, but it looks like there are programs to completely revamp the today screen (Wisbar Advance comes to mind), but I haven't used any of these. Might be overkill for what you want though...

Help the new guy

I'm new to the whole customization here. I know how to install a few things, but not quite sure what all i need. I have the 8525 and I want to change my theme. I want some of the features that this phone has:
phone at top
how do i get the weather to look like that- and at the top of the screen
is that a seprate program, or what.
also the icons under that. thanks for any help
the weather thing is called htc home, you can find it all over this forum. in fact, someone just has another thread on this in this very forum with a download link in there.
and the icons at the bottom......the name is in the thread title of that link
Sorry guys, just figured it out, and thought it would have been more complicated. Turns out I wasn't asking much
Mate, word of advice, before you start flashing OS's PLEASE READ A BIT AND HARD SPL YOUR PHONE.......(makes it easier to recover if/when something goes wrong) I think most people have had experiance with a brick at one time or another...
We dont mind helping out with stuff ( it can be fun to help and gives a nice fuzzy feeling when things go right) but if you research a bit first you will generally find your question has been answered MULTIPLE times over. If you still have problems ask away... Answers will be more forthcoming when people see some research has been done...
Anyways, Welcome and happy flashing...

Hi, new guy to the forums with a question or two.

Hello everyone. Awesome website, was referred here by one of the lieutenants at work. T-mobile Wing owner. I've owned this thing for going on a month now. I've installed Home Screen/Battery Status and overclocked to 260. I've got PocketSNES and a hundred or so games. Installed one of the registry editors so I could tweak it to access ring tones from the sd card. And a new black colored theme I found while browsing through the forums. Nothing too crazy yet...I'm active duty Army, so I don't have much time for tweaking. I'm working up the courage to start experimenting with new roms.
Anyways, I'm wondering if there's a way to get rid of the fuzzy/whitewashed look that pictures get when you set them as background/wall papers images. I think I remember reading something about that somewhere on these forums, but for the life of me I cant find it again. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Ok, I figured out the picture thing. Guess I shoulda looked around before I asked the question. Just open the picture, "right click" it, set as background, then the transparency menu thingy pops up. I'm sooo glad I figured this out. lol!

Can the Android Animation screen be changed ?

Hey guys, I was curious if Android animation screen can be changed ?
I searched around and found little information about this.
I figure if the splash screen on boot can be changed then the flashing android screen can be.
I could think of a few things I'd like to have on my phone besides the word android flashing across it !

EDIT: I don't know if I'm understanding correctly...You mean the screen after the T-Mobile G1 screen, right?
I know that it can be changed, I just wouldn't be able to tell you how.
Maybe someone in the Themes forum could help you with that...
i would like to change mine too that flashing android text is just boring

Nah,
I'm talking about the screen after the splash1 screen, the animation.
**EDIT**
I've read the 2nd thread and I didn't really understand the method that one guy laid out, I'm not quite that savy with it. It would be cool to see someone give a good guide on how to change out the screens like the guide for
custom boot images.

[Q] Changing Menu/Notification Bar Colors

I'm looking around the forum for a few days, and first I want to thank everyone who develops for droid and specifically for this site - its amazing.
A lot of the tutorials, ect. are in my opinion, a little bit complex, and vague, and it would be great to see dumb downed versions in the future, but in general just great.
So basically, on to business, I've rooted my xperia x8, downloaded a few apps for root only users, and the only thing left I want to do to my phone is to change the menus and notification bar from BLUE to a black shade, or even white would be fine. But if its white i'd have to change all the text to black and it'd probably be more complicated.
I haven't found a tutorial on here in the last few days i've looked, and I'm hoping for a link to something, or instructions. I've found a few things that I don't really understand and couldn't even tell if they were referring to the same things I wanted to do.
I hope someone can give me some advice, link to a matching thread, or step by step instructions.
Appreciated!
Ye, I want to know that too
