Hi,
I would like to know how to prevent the WM5-PPC from going to sleep while my application is running. Can anyone provide me with samplecode? Language doesn't matter, but c# perferred.
You may take a look at here...

Hello all,
I was wondering if someone could write a tiny app for me if its not too much trouble. I want the app to autorun another app if the device has been idle for 5 seconds. If theres already such a script or app can you please point me in that direction as I could'nt find anything.
Thank you in advance,
Akshay
You can do this by yourself very easily using SKSchema.
Once you get SKSchema, be prepared. You can create your own scripts to do anything from answering a phone to turning off your phone if the wife calls!
Is that like MortScript? Just going thorugh MortScript at the moment. Thanks for the info though.
Regards,
Akshay

Haha.. what a lovely relationship the two of you must have!
A little help if possible, since I'm new to mort scripts, can somebody what command must I use to figure out if the screen has been tapped or not?
Thanks,
Akshay

That's not possible. At least not with any documented Windows API... (OK, mouse hooks are documented, but they don't work...)
Thank you for your reply Mort. Is there no way we can find out if the phone is idle or not?
Hi,
I'm looking for a tool, which allows to execute a program with a command line a certain time of x minutes after docking the device in the cradle or alternatively x minutes after active sync. Does something like this exist?
*bump*
Really nobody got an idea?
Maybe MortScript has such an option ...

Interesting idea. Maybe someone knows more. Unfortunately, I don't know mortscript myself.
Hi
It would be easy enough to write a desktop application that will fire off an application using RAPI. Have a look at the Opennetcf library.
If your c++ is up to scratch you could also create an Activesync Service Provider (then let me know how you did it).

Pete

Unfortunately I'm not a programmer, so I'm unable to do it myself. Maybe someone else would like to try...

Hi Everyone,
How to have an automatic locking XPERIA after only 15 secs if you are on the page today.
Program or manipulation of registry keys whatever.
Thank you
Greetings

Then it would be a good idea to tell us exactly what you want, bad English or not
S2U2 nearly does anything you could want from a locking software. I would give it a try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=412418
I tried I just want the X1 locks when it is on the home page and after 15 secs
Okay, I think I get you now.
You want the keys to be locked after 15seconds of idle but only when there are no applications running?
Hm, I dunno if S2U2 can do this exactly. But you may want to try sunscape http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=416843 it has many options to set so I think your wish could be in there too.
In the HTC HD2 beta rom you could "pinch to zoom" in all applications.
For some reason it has been removed in the final rom.
With ZOOOMER you can now get zoom back again in any application that you like.
More info @ http://www.mobilitynews.net/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=2147
The page is in German, but the program is in English
The download link is at the bottom of the page.
Make sure that you do a soft reset after selecting the applications that you do a soft reset to make it work.

Sorry - my mistake.
Someone else posted about this A LOT, and despite it being a very useful app, he was sort of killing it by posting so much!!
Great find!! Thanks for posting, or re-posting, as the case may be.

I have a T-mobile TP2 and im looking for two cabs, one where i can have a alarm that will work even when the phone is on silent/vibrate and one where i can turn off 3g on the fly. thanks in advance
Try looking here.

I think Klaxon works even when the phone is on silent/vibrate.
And I believe WkTask will let you turn off the 3g

I just commented on this a few minutes ago in another thread.
To disconnect data at will, look here:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Phone]
"Flags2"=dword:0000000A
This does 2 things:
1: Puts a disconnect button in the Connections Popup via the taskbar
2: Disconnects data using the END key ONLY when in the default position on the Today screen.
For the Alarm, do you want the alarm to be a sound? Because most alarm apps will force audio on. But if you are wanting a Vibrating alarm... then CradleAlarm. Right now I use "Touch Alarm" because it is simple and easy and works very very well.
