is it possible to get the activesync version that comes with mobile 6 and
install on mobile 5 ??
or does anybody else know how to setup instant email support with an
exchange server and flexmail 2007

Hi,
I used to synchronize all my contacts and calendar from my Magician with our enterprise server via Intellisync Mobile Suite. The sync client installed on the PPC does no more work with WM 5.0 due to changed databases.
Does anyone else have a work around for WM 5.0 or an updated sync client version for WM 5.0?
TIA
Not yet. Intellisync claims they are working on it, but I find their communication and web site very poor when it comes to finding new info.
I also think they have been sold (don't remember the details).
I hope they get it done, it is much better than ActiveSync.
I know Mobile 5.0 can direct sync with exchange 2003 SP2, but how about the older version exchange 2000 ?
Exchnage 2000 sync...
You need a specific product : Microsoft Mobile information server...
But I would recommand to upgrade to EX2003 or perhaps other product like Dataviz or Sync4j (clast one can be seen on www.msmobiles.com)
Thanks for reply
But I am not asking about push-mail
I only want to sync via wireless within our company network
but I got this error 0x85010006, am I missing something ?
Exchange 2000 does not have it built in by default. You will need the Mobile Information Server to allow what's called "Exchange Active Sync" to work. If you upgrade to Exchange Server 2003, it's built in and uses outlook mobile access or OMA for Exchange active sync.
Thanks. I know more now.
But I can Sync Notes contact but only cannot sync Mail..... is it only mail need the Mobile Information ???? and do you means the Mobile Info 2002 ??
does any one know of a solution to get exchange2007 support level on a home pc?
I found "kerio"`s solutions but it gives only exchange 2003 support(no HTML),
did any one find a solution?
so, what do I hope to find?
A fully compatible exchange 2007 mail server for my home pc, something like "kerio mail server".
That way I can active sync my WM6 tytn to my own server and get full HTML support.
A free web host that has exchange 2007(mail2web does not support 2007) will be nice two
hi,
does the roms of windows mobile 6 proposed here can show e-mails coded with HTML ?
I think so...
But this only depends on the Exhange server... you must have SP2 installed and functionnality activated.
mUn_rus one does...
html mails don't work with exchange 2003 sp2 direct push (converted to plaintext). i think it's only supported with exchange 2007 in combination with direct push. through pop3 it's no problem with html mails
If you install windows live and have a hotmail account you would see your hotmail html email in your device in real time.
my 2 cent
Yes, only Exchange 2007 which have to be installed on a 64bit machine. So if you havn't got one, you can use one of the hosted exchange planes you can find on the net. i hav'nt found free plan with exchange 2007 yet, but u can find 2007 plans starting at about 8$ with full access (mobile/web/desktop)

Click to collapse
I have no idea what you mean.
Outlook Mobile (including Outlook) is integrated into WM5, so what else do you want?
i mean the new version which has html mail support ?
Take a look over here.

I'm not sure that this includes Outlook Mobile.
thank you but those files include only office 6.1 and doesn't have new outlook application.
I'm pretty sure that the new outlook only comes with wm6... and even if you can get it elsewhere, you must be connected to exchange 2007 to get HTML email.
