Click to collapse
I have no idea what you mean.
Outlook Mobile (including Outlook) is integrated into WM5, so what else do you want?

i mean the new version which has html mail support ?

Take a look over here.

Especially here:

I'm not sure that this includes Outlook Mobile.

thank you but those files include only office 6.1 and doesn't have new outlook application.

I'm pretty sure that the new outlook only comes with wm6... and even if you can get it elsewhere, you must be connected to exchange 2007 to get HTML email.

Viewing a webcam with MSN Messenger for 2003se

HI
Is it possiable to view a webcam image with MSN Messenger for pocket pc using Mobile 2003se.
I have looked at the tools option within the MSN Messenger software currently running om my XDA II with Mobile 2003se, & can find no option to receive a webcam call or sound?
Having searched the net on this issue, I have found mention of a program called Microsoft Portrait which appears to give this function to MSN Messenger, but although this is a microsoft product, which is currently downloadable, I am a little reluctant to try as it's dated 2004 ver 2.3.
I have also looked at upgrades for MSN Messenger for Mobile 2003se & there is a site which will upgrade the product via Activesync, but with no listing of what features are available, or version No. to check against.
(Is it actually possiable to identify version of MSN Messenger running under 2003se in some way?)
Has anyone gone through this route before who can help me?

Sync client for intellisync for WM 5.0?

Hi,
I used to synchronize all my contacts and calendar from my Magician with our enterprise server via Intellisync Mobile Suite. The sync client installed on the PPC does no more work with WM 5.0 due to changed databases.
Does anyone else have a work around for WM 5.0 or an updated sync client version for WM 5.0?
TIA
Not yet. Intellisync claims they are working on it, but I find their communication and web site very poor when it comes to finding new info.
I also think they have been sold (don't remember the details).
I hope they get it done, it is much better than ActiveSync.

Direct Sync with Exchange 2000 possible ???

I know Mobile 5.0 can direct sync with exchange 2003 SP2, but how about the older version exchange 2000 ?
Exchnage 2000 sync...
You need a specific product : Microsoft Mobile information server...
But I would recommand to upgrade to EX2003 or perhaps other product like Dataviz or Sync4j (clast one can be seen on www.msmobiles.com)
Thanks for reply
But I am not asking about push-mail
I only want to sync via wireless within our company network
but I got this error 0x85010006, am I missing something ?
Exchange 2000 does not have it built in by default. You will need the Mobile Information Server to allow what's called "Exchange Active Sync" to work. If you upgrade to Exchange Server 2003, it's built in and uses outlook mobile access or OMA for Exchange active sync.
Thanks. I know more now.
But I can Sync Notes contact but only cannot sync Mail..... is it only mail need the Mobile Information ???? and do you means the Mobile Info 2002 ??

Anyone has the cab file for Intellisync for WM 5.0?

Hi all,
I am really desperate: since I have switched from WM 2003 to WM 5.0, the old sync client of Intellisync does not work anymore.
Anyone who can provide the latest sync client cab which works with WM 5.0 for me to test it?
TIA
[email protected]
anyone?
You mean for your pc or pda?
PDA it's built in isn't it?
PC download it from MS.
V
no I mean the sync client from Intellisync which is part of Intellisync mobile suite. I need it the cab-file for my wizard. My company's exchange server has the corresponding intellisync software on board, but does not let me download the cab file that I need for my wizard to sync with the exchange server. Previously with my older magician (wm 2003) it worked.
This is the latest installer I have on my Intellisync server - works on my WM5 devices.
Regards - John
thank you sooooo much!
What version of Intellisync is that? I have version 6.5 on our servers and was just curious is that one was newer?
markwica - no problem, glad I could help
kjason - Its a 6.5 client (6.5.5.15 I think...dont have my PPC in from of me )
Regards - John
INTELLISYNC

Old ipaq h1915

Hi,
i've found an ipaq h1915 and would like to use it on my vista.
but because it is still a windows mobile 2002 and vista needs atleast 2003, i can't use it.
can someone help me with this prob.
thx
Jerre
anyone an idee or a link to: how to change a windows mobile?
Change it in to what?
Just kidding. Didn't know Vistas device center does not support old PPCs. One more reason not to use this crappy OS.
Unfortunately as far as I know there is no update for that model.
You could check out HP site, but I doubt you will find anything. Your best bet is to download ActiveSync 3.8 (google it since MS no longer provides downloads) or even 4.5 (from MS site) and see if Vista lets you install and run it.
thx for the reply.
i also had the idee to download the active sync 4.5, but as usually doesn't work on vista because vista has a program of it's own for that.
called mobile device center, installed it... gues what doesn't work on windows mobile versions before 2003
