I need some opinions. I'm currently using a mobile phone on a t-mobile network. I want a XDA II, but, it will mean ditching my current t-mobile contract and starting with O2. Is this right?
Can I not get a T-Mobile MDA II instead and continue the T-mobile contract? Are they the same? Are they even available here in the UK
I have only ever seen the MDA II being sold in Germany. So does it only work there.
Help me out, please.

check forums for xda2 codes you should be able to make it network free
all networks but keep it to your self we are getting 250 uk pounds to open them to all networks
Smiffy, the phone can be unlocked for free thanks to the guys that run this site, just download xda2unlock, all you need is usb cable or cradle, it is a very simple process and at the end of it you will have the unlock code, all xda2/mda2 are triband so will work in UK.
I am traveling ot the US (Chicago) with my XDA II. I want to be able to use my cell phone with one of the local cellular service providers. Can smoeone in the area please help me and let me know what options do I have and which one is better?
Thanks
Hi,
I just recently moved from Orange to Three. However, my beloved unlocked Wizard does work with the Three network.
So, can anyone provide me with a list of Windows Mobile smartphones that work on the Three network? I'm confused at the moment..
What about the TYTN or unlocked versions from T-mobile and Vodaphone?
An unlocked version of the XDA orbit?
Please share your experiences of which smartphones work best for you on 3!
Cheers

I use an o2 simply in my Vodafone HTC One and had to add the APN manually so may be same for the other way around.

It's a little pot luck.
Sometimes carrier's very first stock - can turn out to be sim free unbranded versions - and then subsequent versions are branded and locked.
I believe some folks in here actually have witnessed this with vodafone themselves where they have order two phones (one after the other) where the first turned out to be unbranded and unlocked and the later model branded.
So at this moment it's impossible to say definitively whether a vodafone One will be branded & locked to network - or sim free.
Impatience now could be a pain in the bum later if it turns out to be network locked and branded. So maybe bare with it (have patience) and either go for a sim free model from the likes of phones4u or wait for O2 to get them in stock.
