HTC Voice Recorder - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

Where can I get this pesky mite from?
I recently updated to Black Shadow on my TyTn, and the woman has HTC Voice Recorder on her standard HTC bought TyTn. This would be a vital tool for my journalism, but I can't seem to find a download for it anywhere...anyone got a head up?
Now, I'm not asking for any of the others that are mentioned, I solely want this specific dooda.
Any help would be great, thanks.

Where to register my HTC Tytn?

Hi all,
Am I able to register my Tytn with HTC?? I've looked on htc.com, htcamerica.net, europe.htc.com and every other htc variant I could find of HTC sites on Google, and I don't see anywhere where I can register the device. This seems strange. Also, no mention of registering it in the manual either...
Thanks,
SP

Ah, you're making the faulty assumption that HTC wants to support you...
Yeah, that's what I figured. Well that sucks. I'd have gone with the Jasjam if I would have known that to be the case.
Mehh.
It may not make any difference: who knows how long I-Mate will be around without HTC propping it up...
Well I think HTC dumps their customers and does not support them. Look at WM5 with the Blue Angel!!
hello
I have the same alignment problem with my jas jam after I installed the new cube touch so you have to go to F TOUCH FLO CONFIG IN THE GENERAL MENU YOU HAVE TO DISABLE FTOUCHFLO RESTART YOUR DEVICE AND IT WILL WORK THE SCREEN ALIGNMENT
I HOPE I HELPED AS THIS WAS MY SOLUTION

8925 GPS program CAB

I know this topic is beat to death and everyone has their own opinion on GPS programs, but currently I'm using a iGPS-BT with a GPS-500 sensor and I've been using google for a while... Just found Microsoft live maps and like it for the speech recognition... Now I've heard that the 8925 GPS program can be installed on the 8525, where can this cab be obtained from?
Also non related topic... I have a HTC case on my 8525.. Where can the front camera be obtained from... Its not a huge worry to me since its been missing since I put the case on but if I could get one that would be kinda cool.

Help with Skype 2.2 - Released 31, July 2008

I did a quick search and couldn't find anything specifically on this topic.
I just tried this install and it went smoothly with no problems. I am able to see all of my contacts, I can call my contacts and they can call me, however, I can't seem to get any audio - they can't hear me and I can't hear them.
Is this similar to the problems with the previous versions? This version specifically says it is compatible with Windows Mobile 6.1 (I have DCD's latest ROM)...
skypes been broken in wm6.1 for a while, it seems that this one didnt fix it. has someone with a 6.1 stock rom tried the new skype? skype doesnt care about dcd roms. they only make sure that their software works with official roms. it might be an issue with them not supporting the titan, at least if it doesnt work in the stock rom than thats what it is

with previous versions of skype on wm6.1 would freeze; I think I noticed the problem after I upgraded my radio to enable gps. On the htc touch (cdma) with the new version (2.2.0.45), I'm having the same problem. Skype opens and loads just fine, but no audio. I've posted about this problem on the skype forum of the skype website, but no reply yet.
yup, seems to be the same problem with fring too except I can actually hear stuff with the fring.
With skype, I get sound on the speakerphone with the new version, but I only get the first ring and the hangup sound, thats it.
Good thing for skype to go! I have a unlimited calls to 5 favorite numbers so I can use that meanwhile.
The best thing possible tho would be to have AGEphone mobile with the fix for the Titan\Mogul (they have a fix for the HTC trinity, Hermes, Touch (Dual) and Kaiser)

I also have the Dutch version of the TP2, I've tried the HTC Voice Recorder:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=346298
but sadly it doesn't work for me. It installs perfectly but when you start it, nothing happens. Well, at least I don't know something is happening, maybe it's already recording everything.
Have a look here:

i am not sure, if i broke some rules, or ....
voice recorder
Have been looking for something similar myself adn was directed to noteM elsewhere on this forum.
But then I realised afterwards that there is already a notes app included with the TP2.
As default this is set for written notes but in the menu you can enable a voice recorder function as well.
You don't haave the extra functionality of choosing the recording format etc but the basic app is there for you to use.

Youtube App missing in t-mobile uk rom?!

Hey there, ive had the htc hd2 for a while after getting rid of the touch hd and have to say, its alot better then the previous model but one thing thats missing is the youtube application, i have got in on contract from t-mobile uk and was wondering is they anyway of getting the youtube application without flashing a new rom?
thank you in advance
yes it can be installed as a cab..... but it will screw up other networking programs.
use the search function and search for t mobile youtube app there are several threads about it.
I loaded Ytube via the cab and it works fine without any issues with other programs. I am on T-Mobile. My only problem is the distorted sound on high frequencies during calls.
