Hi i was trying to use ( __TFAT_HIDDEN_ROOT_DIR__.zip ) i found that on the xda FTP but now my phone don't power on .... just like he its death if anyone can help plz! ;D
I already remove the BAT and put it back to try power and don't work sniff sniff

hey guys thanks for being helpful alot of times..
My O2 XDA MINI S gets stuck at the startup operator logo ..
I FLASHED IT WITH THE NEW 2.21.4.1 ROM AND OS ,, but its still the same
NOW IM TRYING TO FORMAT IT WITH A HARD RESET BY PRESSING THE SEND BUTTON ,,BUT IT SAYS "FORMAT FAIL"..... Please help me as i really miss the phone..
I am afraid that usually means you have a faulty rom memory chip. Send the device back to the supplier for repair - its a hardware problem not a software problem.

The rom will flash but stll fails to boot - there have been other posts with exact same problem and that was the reply by summiter or faria if I remember right. (Both v experienced at flashing and putting together roms) Do a srearch - failed format will prob find those posts.

About one day ago, my friend tried to upgrade his wizard to wm6.
After flashing the device wont turo on! When he tried to power the wizard on, nothing hapens (NO LIGHT, NO SOUND, NOTHING.........)!

If that doesn't work, you probably have a new paperweight.

Am new to this forum ! but have been a passive member since very long time !
Now I have major issue and need help from the fellow members !
I have a Imate SP3 and was trying to update the rom ! My stupidity !! I tried to flash SP5 ROM to this and at 68% the desktop application threw and error and disappeared ! the phone was stuck at 68%,so I took the battery out and from then on the phone doesn't switch on !!
So desperately need help as to what to do !! please help me guys !!

Ok first download a proper ROM for your SP3.
I think you can use the procedure as when you want to revert to wm2003 on this tread:

Thanks a lot buddy ! but the said procedure only works if the phone is atleast in the bootlaoder mode (i,e the tricolour mode) but as I said mine is almost completely dead (no lights when charger or the usb is connected and not powering on,I mean not even the LED glows) !!!!
So Am kinda stuck in this stage ! so I need a real trick to some how gain access to the ROM and flash it completely and install the proper one ( I mean I have to erase the EEPROM completely !)
Its similar to the one in the post #8 in the link you've sent !! and the answer to it in post is what I don't want to hear !!

My Cousin Did the Same Exact Thing to his Imate SP3i it also got stuck at 68% it does nothing it was brand new now its paper weight anyway to fix this ?

sorry for my bad english i am german living in ibiza-spain.i have the problem that my universal had a problem when i uploaded wm 6.1. i never had any problems doing that but this time it is blockt absolutly dead.by doing hard reset it shows 0 reboot x exit but nothig works out screen is black not even charing possible.it would be great if somebody could help me.thanks a lot and bye bye from sunny ibiza.

hi dno if any1 could help me but stell iv got 2 xda exce one with an borken usb and the over what says NO GSM wil it boots up jus the quseions off can the exce with the broken stell synk over bluetooth like instell software like u do with the usb and the one what says no gsm i droped and brok it so got replace parts and everthink works but that no gsm and phone things could any1 help ? thanks adam

i read a fourm on here about the truble iv got but its a diftent phone n i think its kinda broke as i droped must did it damage but i dont know as im not a wizerd on this phones just do what i can read about them

If you haven't flashed the radio properly, then GSM won't work. Try flashing with a different radio (it takes longer than flashing ROM, so be patient). Try 1.18 or 1.15.
Yes you can install and sync using BT. However, I don't think there's any successful way of flashing ROM with a broken USB port.
