Flickering screen on boot - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 General

I recently obtained a Prophet that has a strange screen issue.
The device boots up and the screen flickers for a few moments and then goes to white. If I press the bootloader key sequence, i can communicate with the device via mtty but the screen condition remains.
Is this likely a hardware issue and has anyone else had this problem?
Anyone interested to buy the phone for parts otherwise? The black housing is in good condition and it is branded as an O2 Xda. only problem is the flickering screen.
Thanks.

Anyone interested in buying a dead Prophet?
XDA 02 Neo branded. The device boots up but the screen shows garbage and then goes blank after a few seconds. I think it currently has a Chinese OS. The unit is in good condition otherwise. Just the unit, no accessories.

Qtek 9000 strange white screen

I just got a Qtek 9000 which only shows a white screen. Initially it was completely dead, and only showed a red light when I connected it to a charger. But after reading for a while on the internet, I managed to flash an original rom onto the phone. But the screen is just white when I power it on. The phone seems to be in working order, because after about 30-40 seconds after I've powered it on, I get the "beep sound" (that comes after installing a new rom onto the phone and you're supposed to calibrate the screen etc)
I've tried flashing the rom again, but the screen still stays white.
Has anyone encountered this problem before? Do I need a new screen?

Before you buy a new screen try to READ the Wiki, perhaps you can find a solution there
Good luck
I can't find anything anout it on wikipedia. Any other suggestions?
Well, I think I have narrowed it down to one of three possible things that can be causing the fault. I've disassembled the phone and tried powering it up with only the screen connected and I've disconnected all other ui modules and speakers and mic.
Still the screen stays white, so I think the problem must either be with the screen, the flex cable that runs between the two "pieces" of the phone, or the ui module that connects the screen and the flex cable.
So does anyone know where I can get these, or some of these parts cheap? New or used, or perhapse someone's got a faulty phone they'd like to sell?

Fault? White Boot Screen 'Patch'

During normal boot my HD2 shows the white HTC boot screen and shows a patch (below the HTC lettering) where the white screen colour is not consistent. This looks to me to be a fault because it has not always been there.
Has anyone else seen this fault? Any advice on how to get back to a T-Mobile UK ROM where they will accept a return for repair?

Oneplus 2 screen faulty? Please help

Hey, I broke my op2 screen so I bought one from ebay, teared it apart all correctly (i'm a computer technician), installed the new screen, all fine but a weird symptom appears:
- It boots and shows the Oneplus logo then screen all black. I know it booted cuz the touch buttons work and i can ear the sound of unlocking etc. Also if i plug into the pc I can easily access its memory.
- If I try to enter recovery I know it enters too but the screen is all black, the only mode I can see the screen is fastboot mode and it stays and acts normally.
- I did a full reset on the phone back to stock via adb, thinking it was software, its all stock now, still the same occurs
Im out of ideas so I just think the screen is faulty from ebay, did this happened to anyone?
Thanks in advance

[Question] Screen not booting, this is a defective screen right?

TL;DR; New screen doesn't boot, but does work if I connect after boot
So, I cracked my screen. It happens. I got a new one from China, replaced the cracked one.
But, now my phone does boot up, I get the white "your phone isn't locked" warning. Then, the screen goes black and stays black. If I hook up the old screen, I get the LineageOS Logo and it boots up fine. Then I disconnect the cracked screen and connect the new screen. And it also seems to work fine.
That sounds like an issue with the replacement screen right? I am running LineagOS 15.1 on the Mi. Is there anything else that I can or should do? Or just get another replacement?
