I try to download the O2 mini ROM from the O2 web site Hong Kong they have 2 version English and Chinese but you need a valid EMEI in order to sign in to there web site and be able to download
Where else can I get the O2 ROM ??

PS: If I get to install the O2 Active I don't mind to do I hard reset in case I wanted to remove it. But since I'm looking like a dog to get it, I don't think I will remove it so soon.

Help Need Rom

I am looking for the same rom more than two mounth. There is no chance to find it. I am registrated user on Dangard Italy who is official provider for HTC product by TIM in Italy, and there is no possibility to download this Rom. We must waiting for wm6 to the end of this mounth. This is only solution for our problems.
Sorry, one more solution, to go in Italy and visit any HTC repair center. But.....I will waiting for wm6. Regards.

Please give to me a link to download this(1.14.408)version of ITA rom....I think that only one version (1.12.408) exist. But maybe I am not right.

Thanks for the hope, but I do the same thing like you....But I try one more thing: I put this file ("arteimg") in standard ruu utility (from official 1.12.405.1 wwe update)...and they go to 100%!!!(without on 3% say that is "invalid vendor id"), after that my devices is restart and in the uper right corner (bootloader mode) I can see words "RUU". When I do soft reset I can't see HTC logo, only bootloader mode (latter after one more reset I get same thing like before flashing, with the same screen like you)...but os not exist. I think that the file "arteimg" is not completed (usualy that file have about 79mb (1.12.405 wwe) but this file have only 58mb.

Hello Everybody./
I'm a new HTC user and I like it now, but i had been doing any changes to my Touch Cruise (Rom, Radio, Unlocker).
But I just got a trouble with my camera, it is no showing any image, the screen is black and I tried to change the radio already but nothing is working,
Somebody help me please.
WM 6.1. Radio Polaris 1.58.21.23 is my actual, but it problem start after I upgraded to wm6.5 pdaviet and I came back to wm6.1 because that

Try putting your device in to bootloader.
Reflash the original firmware from htc and then flash a new custum firmware..and after that you can even change the radio rom again.
Sometimes the device needs to be set to original firmware to upgrade again to custom firmwares.
Why original firmware...because the radio rom and firmware are original in one upgrade proces..this is always the best method to go back to no problems.
Also you have to take your simcard and memorycard out of your device just in case.

I Tried c_shekar and workrd some days... but later come back to blanck screen and unable to capture frame from device....
Reflash with original (without bootloader mode)...nothing
Tried take out the battery during several hours....nothing
I have tried again original ROM this time passing through bootloader mode and installing with original from htc site french ROM (SIM and sd card removed), the last official one according to my inicial French version.
NOTHING!!!!
Is my cruise rear camera Broken? Front camera works ok
Do I have anything else to test???
Pleaseeee help!

I think that if the front camera is working the back one is broken.
Whan i flashed it incorrect i had no screen on both camera's.
So i think you have to return it to HTC.
Don't forget to put everything back to normal..otherwise they wil ask you to pay for the repair.

wm 6.5 upgrade for htc hd have a look

hi found this not sure if anyone picked it up or not i found it by luck
its a rom upgrade for the HTC Touch Pro2 but has in lower case HTC Touch HD over the top
you think its a screw up or someone in htc feels sorry for those with a HD and is trying to sneak this in under the radar
any thoughts and is any one running this rom now

hmmmm whats up with that? am afraid of trying it out and then brick my phone if that is even possible to flash it.. i thought ROMS are very specific devices ie for one device only

Afraid someone in the website department messed up.
When attempting to download it will always give the following error:
Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device.
Tried with all serials from the wiki and my own. Could not find a rhodium one but i guess when you enter that it will let you download it.
Also the screenshot shows a rhodium not a blackstone, was afraid this was too good to be true but, nice find anyway

looked at other areas that have that rom and this is the only one that has the HTC hd bit in it , and if the serial doesnt work cos i did the same thing looking a serial that works but no luck , what about trying to find another way to get that rom number from a different site , just say it does state that it works on the hd so they would of done some work on it at htc and fix some of tthe bugs
dont know will keep lookng for that rom i guess

Think I could 100% guarantee this is not meant for the HD and is infact an error on the HTC site which has been overlooked

[Q] How to fix Invalid Model ID?

Couple of days before I tried to unlock my Ameo using the Olipro’s AthenaUnlocker. This program said that everything was OK, but my Ameo still refused my Vodafone SIM card, so I thought the unlocking was not successful.
During the last days I read a lot, upgraded several ROMs, tried different operation systems (WM5, WM6, WM6.1), skins and radio versions (1.47, 1.50, 1.57). For example:

In each and every configuration I tried to unlock my Ameo whit the same AthenaUnlocker 3.0 program, unfortunately always with the same result. I hoped that changing my SPL 1.2 to 3.5 could solve my problem.
Presently I have SPL 3.5, WM 6.1 Prof, radio 1.57, HTC Athena Project 4.0 Platinum on my Ameo (

Last time as I started AthenaUnlocker, it could not recognize the model ID (, ), nevertheless it said that the 1st step was successful ()! Of course my Ameo still could not accept my Vodafone SIM card.
Finally I tried a last desperate attempt, and I put another Vodafone SIM card in my Ameo. Surprisingly it worked with it! The differences between the SIM cards can be seen on . (The card on the left is mine.) Maybe the unlocking procedure and AthenaUnlocker was successful from the beginning? Wow!!!
But I still have some question about this unlocking procedure!
1. The quality of the unlocking video of Agent Bignose (Athena,Ameo,HTC x7500 CID and NET Unlocker by Olipro Tutorial Video made by Agent Bignose) is not so good. I can not, or just partially can read the text. I can not hear anything. And have no idea, what he did on this video between 6:42 and 7:14! Is it a file loading or saving form? Why? I have never noticed it during the AthenaUnlocker procedure!
2. What can I do with this Invalid Model ID Error 244 (, )? Should I start to downgrade my Ameo, and start again from the basics?
3. What can I do with my unaccepted SIM card? Should I change it at Vodafone? Until now it worked perfectly with several other mobile phones.
Please help me to find the answers!

2. search for the fix for invalid model ID in the rom section
3.change the sim
David stewart ,if you have the last bootloader screen you need to apply the invalid modelid fix.look for the dedicated thread.
