I try to download the O2 mini ROM from the O2 web site Hong Kong they have 2 version English and Chinese but you need a valid EMEI in order to sign in to there web site and be able to download
Where else can I get the O2 ROM ??

PS: If I get to install the O2 Active I don't mind to do I hard reset in case I wanted to remove it. But since I'm looking like a dog to get it, I don't think I will remove it so soon.

Newbie here. I'm in Saudi Arabia and I just bought an i-Mate. Anyone knows how to remove the Arabic support? Much obliged for any help. Thanks.
Two options:
First option:
If you are not very familiar with all this stuff: just disable arabic from Settings - Arabic - Control. It will not be uninstalled, but it will not be active. You might want to also remove the today pligins, by unchecking them from: Settings- Today - Items.
Second option:
You can install another ROM from another non Arabic Provider. This will give you the benefit of all updated software in the T-Mobile extended ROM, which is not included in the Imate ROM. I recommend the latest T-Mobile, which can be found in this forum. Just look under the Forum "Upgrading It". This might void your warraty though.

I have tested most Arabization packages. Imaginet's Pocket Arabizer Suite is the best.
The version that runs on XDA 1 needs an unlock code which is calculated based on your device's serial number, so you cannot just use another device's unlock code.

and the first company Arabizer does not work. the lebanese company did not send me the Arabizer yet, the rotoma did now work. the Imaginte is unacceptable at all.
BTW: wish MS starts supporting the Arabic language in their pocket pc. So, Imaginet learn a lesson in pricing. WindowsM cost less than 30$. Is it fair to sell the Arabizer for $44.

I also had a orange rom without messenger; you can get rid of this with any other ROM like cingular or dopod for instance. Please note that with a cingular rom with a bootloader > than 1.04 you will not be able to use another rom that do not match your cid in the futur

The advice on that link doesn't work - the messenger files have actually been removed from the device.
I asked this exact same question - whether the Cingular ROM has Messenger on it, but have yet to get a reply...

I have a HTC TyTN and it comes with Messenger loaded as well as Hotmail. I think the network locked devices have Messenger removed to force you to use the system they impose on their consumers.

I have a dutch Vario II and it had messenger installed. I can upload instmsgr.exe if you want, bit i dont know if it also needs other files or registry entries to work...

Well, for us wing users, using the new Full version of touch it, its required to over write anyways, so theres no problem for us.
Though perhaps PDAVIET and such will start including this in their ROMS

its because the office 2007 package dosnt work with the wing, so I had to put back default office in the rom, but it can be updatet with this, thx for upping it, ill post link in my rom thread.

Lol, we're all right here..
For Wings, the touchIT's (new full version) of office doesnt work off the bat, you have to reinstall the included office package on the TouchIT thread. So, for us wing users, we will just use this link instead of a previous ripped office cab.
This cab, for any other device on any other OS should work just fine.

I test the Version 7.450.9028, but i get always the massage "not enoght memory".
Have somebody the new Version 7 running or can help?

I installed this the other day, no problems at all. You need the 'TTN_7.450.9028_WM_5_and_6.cab' file for the application and then you need to 'legitimately' install your maps

adb100 that tomtom cab might mean he can install it but it does not mean that he can run it . He/she obviously has many programs installed that are consuming memory on their device.
Open task manager and see what is using memory
it may be a problem with the map. i will try a another one.

While we are allowing the original TT7 Cab file from Diamond, XDA-Devs officially draws the line at the Repack Cabs and considers them to be WAREZ as they contain Modifications to allow v6 Maps & Keygens to register Maps.
Consider this a WAREZ Warning. The Big Hammer of Ban will be used to snuff-out discussions of the Repack Cab files and if this continues to be an issue we may just have to reconsider our original stance on allowing both the TT6 from Kaiser & TT7 from Diamond (even in their original forms) to be discussed & posted here.

You need to buy a Bluetooth GPS Receiver. Have a look on EBay.

its a rom upgrade for the HTC Touch Pro2 but has in lower case HTC Touch HD over the top
you think its a screw up or someone in htc feels sorry for those with a HD and is trying to sneak this in under the radar
any thoughts and is any one running this rom now

hmmmm whats up with that? am afraid of trying it out and then brick my phone if that is even possible to flash it.. i thought ROMS are very specific devices ie for one device only
Afraid someone in the website department messed up.
When attempting to download it will always give the following error:

Tried with all serials from the wiki and my own. Could not find a rhodium one but i guess when you enter that it will let you download it.
Also the screenshot shows a rhodium not a blackstone, was afraid this was too good to be true but, nice find anyway

looked at other areas that have that rom and this is the only one that has the HTC hd bit in it , and if the serial doesnt work cos i did the same thing looking a serial that works but no luck , what about trying to find another way to get that rom number from a different site , just say it does state that it works on the hd so they would of done some work on it at htc and fix some of tthe bugs
dont know will keep lookng for that rom i guess

Think I could 100% guarantee this is not meant for the HD and is infact an error on the HTC site which has been overlooked
