Can someone help me...(i'm a newbie)
my XDAII not optimal as well as before, since i've upgraded it to WM5(before WM2003). Some features/application not working like usually,for example, STK(sim tool kit). Is this device not compatible with WM5?? what should i do in order to make my xdaII optimal again?

wm2k5 aku 3.0 or above instead of aku 1.5 all ur problems will solve.

I want to connect this, but I can't!
There is no connect between this.
MDA can "see" NOKIA (its a GPS) in BT window, but cant connect.
Maybe its something with incorrect COM ports?
Someone in other forum told me to install somekind of driver, but I dont know what exactly.

You are patially right because MDA COMPACT has some problem with LD-3W, but try to install the following blue stack patch... I has a MDA compact and an LD-3W, of course, they can work much better together now...BTW, if problem are still going on, try to update your Radio version to 1.13.

Thank u for quick reply))I have some troubles with WiFi.Also I'm not sure that WM6 supports all programmes created for 2003&wm5.Maybe this is the main reason.Is it true by the way?Can I run stuff for WM5 on WM6?
some progs will work, some maybe wont... best way to find out is to try!

As the WM6 is only slightly tweaked version of WM5 there are almost no problems with apps running on newer system. You'll certainly find much more apps which do not run on older systems like WM5 or WM2003 than on WM6.

is it a herald, terra, wing, or some other variation of the herald?
In any case, you can use any of the wm5 RUU, but you have to find a way to remove the SPL.nb part of the rom (I think)
Ivan, itje, or ttran should be able to tell you this, so you them i refer you. Normally, i would also tell you to search in the future, but this is question is relatively abnormal. May i ask why you want WM5?

Be careful when you have an SPL that is lower than 4.0.0.0... in any case, what did you not like about WM6? (Or WM6.1 if you tried that.)
I found it slower, and generally like 5.0 better. But seems i cant find any 5.0 anywhere ..
ok, so my friend put a windows mobile 6.1 rom on my mda and since he did that my bluetooth doesn't work at all! it won't find devices and is not discoverable to other devices. i'm not sure exactly which rom is is because he put it on and doesn't have it on his pc anymore but i do know it has a different task manager than my old wm5 rom. i don't know if this has anything to do with it. anyone had this problem and know how to fix it? please help!!

Make sure you're discoverable (Start>Settings>Connections>Bluetooth>Mode>Discoverable)
Next, check to see (security) OBEX is not checked on.
That can cause bluetooth transfer failures.

alright, i'm having some issues. I'm trying to port wm5 from the blueangel to the harrier.
i've exported the wm5 nbf into a blueangel kitchen, removed all ril files. didnt help with the NO GSM problem.
i started dinking around some more, i got a blueangel wm2003 flashed/booted onto the harrier and it got past the nogsm problem without caring. i really am unsure as to where to go from here, i need to find whats triggering that nogsm and cut it out but i can't find it in any individual file, just the nk.nba.
any thoughts?
also i cant view the harrier/blueangel wm2003 since they're encrypted. any thoughts on how i'd access them.

Oh boy, did you post in the wrong section. This section is for WM7 development (not even device specific).
BTW, I wish you luck on that one. No one has been able to port anything above 2003 on the Harrier.
