I need a prophet box, will pay you CASH or PAYPAL !

Please, the store I got it from won't take back my phone unless I have the molded cardboard insert.
I will pay you cash, paypal or otherwise (sexual favors) if you can get me a cardboard insert or complete box (EXCLUDING THE OUTSIDE SLEEVE WITH IMEI/SN, I DONT NEED THIS).
Please, please, I have tried other forums and I am still out of luck!
If you have it, please PM me, I am 750$ down the tube without one.
mods plesse don't move or delete this thread, it is imperative I get this box or I'm screwed!
Where are you? What country?
I am in canada, I will gladly pay for any post involved with this!!!
THANK YOU IF YOU ARE GOING TO GIVE ME A CARDBOARD BOX
Seriously,
I'm gonna have to think about it. When I upgraded from a Magician I sold it on eBay in all of the original packaging and was planning to do the same when the time came around again.
I saw your other thread, what a crappy dealer!
Please!
I will pay for it,
Sales on ebay don't really get that much more, if anything when selling in the box. People go to the ebay for the goods, my self included!
You're the only person even willing to talk about it,
HELP! I still haven't found one and this is surely looking grim.
all I need is the box, not including your ouside sleeve that has the imie and such.
please!

No, actually I find a complete box and manuals etc adds around 25% to the sale price. The older the phone is, the *more* important it is too, as people will think it's been looked after etc etc - a newer device people will not care so much esp. if still under warranty.
And I don't have a prophet so can't help, sorry.
Richard
LOL well thanks for the tease,
bye.
\\ Anyone else can actually help me out?
Do you think a magician box will help you?
I believe I still keep my magician box somewhere, I do not have the magician anymore (given to my brother) but I keep the complete box. Magician and Prophet have the exact same measurement.
May be you can tell me the size of the Phophet box and I would confirm if my magician brown tray will fit in it or not.

I had a magician previously and I can confirm that inside bits of the box are indeed identical.
Thank you the brit for confirming they are the same.
Lie_ui, please may I have your box?

where to sell my hermes?

Hi all,
i just need a guide or advice on how and where to sell my hermes ( vario II ) with the best price? thanks
If you need some input into this you need to provide just a smidgen more detail. To help the grey matter get going:
- How old is it?
- What condition is it in (good, fair, poor)?
- Describe damage incurred, if any.
- Why are you selling?
- Are there any extra's, accessories, etc included?
- How much are you looking to sell it for?
- Is it locked or unlocked?
- Have you got all of the original components that came with the phone, eg manual, disks, etc?
Do you see where I am going with this? Once you can give these details then either someone will come along and make you an offer or you will be told where you might best go to get the best price.
Good luck with the sale.
WB
EBAY is very active with HERMES sales. Go to their web site and see what others are doing with them, prices, details, etc....
Or just sell it to me for 60 bucks and be done with it

Where to sell my hermes? Careful at eBay...
Ebay and selling my Hermes
Ref. your query I just tried selling my phone on eBay for a month or so. I was blessed with so much scamming I gave up.
10 Fake sells- Where a buyer says they have paid the payment in escrow with paypal etc. please send to South Africa, or Nigeria payment has been made. All took a couple of 3 days each to re-list with Google and list as a fraud so you can get your money back from Google. Each time potential real buyers get out bid by the fake buyers, then don't rebid. I gave up in the end.
All of these were a bit different and some seem genuine, (no sending to nigeria). Trouble with paypal, can they pay direct etc.
The scams are sooo good now (sometimes) they are even faking emails from paypal. The more savvy will see the obvious aspects.
So consider something besides eBay.
I've had luck with my local Craigslist in both buying my Hermes and selling my Wizard.

Has anyone seen this for sale in the US

http://www.kidigi.com/Car hfp4550.asp
I have contacted the manufacturer and the US distributor they point me to, Wireless Ground, can't be bothered to let me knw out when they will have it in stock. Afer three condescending and arrogant responses, about "We are not Kidigi" (duh, like I didn't know that) I cringe at the thought of having to buy from them. If anyone sees this for sale elsewhere, it would be nice to have another option for buying it. It looks to be a very nice unit, and from the other models they support, should be reasonably priced too.
If I can't find one, I was also considering trying to arrange a group buy, or seeing if the xda-developer store would stock them. If you have an interest in a group buy, please PM me.
TIA

I got a Kidigi docking station from Talkietech.com, you could try them... Does look like an interesting gizmo - though I'm still generally happy with a BT car kit.

looking to buy

hi, i found a webpage that sells the phone for 200, the only problem i find that they only accept wester union, and I dont know for sure that they will ship the phone, do you think that is too great of a risk to do that or not. By the way i dont have money to throw away.
SCAM!
Anything with the words "Western Union" in the small print should be ignored!
thanks, i think I will not buy
for sure a scam and ill bet my bottom dollar it originates in nigeria
seems they have evolved from ebay and learnt to write websites lol

Dispute ebay purchases because Google publicly admitting the product is faulty?

What do you guys think about disputing any Nexus Q ebay purchases due to the fact Google has killed it.
"not as described" as it is buggy and hardly works for me. Plus since google has publicly stopped selling it its obviously a broken item.
Think ebay would give me a refund for both devices if I dispute the purchase?

You should be banned for even posting anything like this. You bought the Nexus Q with the information that was released so live with it, why should the person selling it lose the money you paid?
Google did not call it broken, the issue is that they realize the functionality is too limited for the price point.

Haha, you're a piece of garbage.
Deleted as read the reply wrong.
Why am garbage? Google obviously agrees with me.
They took a product that doesn't work most of the time and is overpriced and made it free. I have two of them + 4 android devices and the Nexus Q does not work most of the time!
The didn't want to deal with all of the returns or bad publicity.
Why would you return something that doesn't work if it was free?
But if you purchased something for a premium your really quick to return it when it doesn't work.
I love google and google products. They really did save some face by giving away these devices.
I escalated both ebay purchased and am waiting 72 hours for decision. Pretty much I did buy something that doesn't work as advertised and has pretty much been recalled by Google. The sellers should of accepted my return, but they did not. Will report back on outcome of dispute.
So would you be raising these claims if Google hadn't decided to prolong the release of their Nexus Q product? Somehow, I don't think so.
You bought them and it's not the sellers fault that you bought them; Google hasn't even said that the Q is 'broken'.
You are just going to have to suck it up, sorry.
I won the dispute, ebay has sent me pre-paid return stickers to send back the items to the sellers for a full refund.
Now, I like the devices - and want to keep them.
But not being fully hacked yet, and not even being able to do what they are supposed to do (play music on TV) without sound cutting out, I think I will send them back.
I think they will be re-released minus the LEDs and speaker ports but with google TV interface + the current streaming features for $200....
Ebay was wrong on this one. I hope someone deletes this topic..Shame

You really should know what you are buying before you buy it. In cases like this especially! If you are not willing to get into the weeds and hack the Q, you should not have bought two of them handed out at a developer conference specifically to be hacked!
Google does not agree with you that there is anything wrong with the device. Noone wanted it yet for the price or were smart enough to wait and see how the development community panned out before they ordered one. Anyone that ordered one especially off of ebay knew exactly what they were getting. They graciously offered those that pre ordered it for free to generate publicity. If you do not want what they offered you should not have ordered it.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
I sure hope you get negative feedback for what you did. The sellers didn't misrepresent anything, and you probably purchased their "new unopened" nexus q's for less than msrp ($300), used them a few days, decided you would wait until they have more features after trying them out and now you are returning them. Now the sellers can't sell them as new since they have been used by you.
This is pretty much just like you bought something at a yard sale or craigslist, tried it out for a few days and now want a refund. "Buyer Beware", you should have researched more or decided to not take a chance and be an early adopter instead of screwing over a couple of people on ebay...

Ebay's decision is based on various factors. That being said, your case sounds to me is more of a Buyer's remorse than inaccurate description of an preview device (which will not be refunded if it is buyer's remorse).
I guess the seller did not responded ebay's request for providing evidence fully or timely therefore you get this one easy. It won't be so lucky next time. I dealt with buyers like you before. All I need was to list all the evidence that shows it is buyer's remorse but not seller's fault and ebay rejected buyer's request last time.
You got lucky this time. I think the seller did not bother or was not aware such refund request or did not take it seriously to contend.
Remind me to never do any transactions with the OP
What a piece of crap. I hope the OP trips and falls and his Q goes up his a$$.
Wow. Some people these days. Bogus and garbage claim. Smh
