Some time ago I seem to have red somewhere on this forum, or might be anywhere else, anyways we had the discussion about how nevo was the best remote software etc.
I really like the software and just for that I still got an ipaq around with it :X
Accidently I stumbled accross the cab for it, but it won't work on my wizard.
Since I have it anyways now maybe someone is interested in taking a look at it?
As far as I can tell it's hardware limited or something, I couldn't find anything with a quick look.
Attachement is added.
Any screenshot? Let me try on Himalaya

I had a RX3115 with Nevo embedded ver 2 and i liked it as well. So i am getting a copy of your cab to see if i can't get it to work on my cing 8125. Will keep you posted.
will this work on the T-Mobile Wing??
not working...unless you like sitting by your tv
Tried running the nevo on my Cingular 8125, needless to say it didn't work too well as i had to be right beside the tv to get it to run and the reciever i linked to didn't work unless i placed the 8125 directly against the sensor. . if any one figures out how to make it work it would be great as the program runs nice on my wizard.
I am in the same boat. Wont work with the Mogul.

LOL this was talked about in a few threads and comes up every few months, the range on most phones IRDA is so short you do need to sit infront of the tv/dvd/vcr to use it.

Hi all, I'm finding a plugin to make direct calls from today screen like Palm Treo 700w look here http://www.palm.com/us/products/smartphones/treo700w/today.epl
bye
alberto
did you find it? sounds great!
it would be nice if somebody who ows theo 700w get the necessery files for rest of us
Treo700w users come on!
I guess not many Treo700 users will be reading this forum.
However, if you find this Today plug-in, let us know: I'd love to try it.
yes! it sounds like a great idea.. even for people developing soft for pocket PC devices..
I've been googleling for this kind of plugin as a part of a software to buy/download, but nothing similar..

Though if you start using the 0 - 9 buttons you can dial the number that way from the Today screen, if that's any help.
Though also, with that AND the Contacts software/hardware key, I don't honestly see what the point of such an app is?!?
Cheers

Maybe for those few who uses the phone in portait mode..
But again, that would require them to open a SIP.
Would be easier to just press green button and dial..
I dunno..
And also, contactbreeze, from SBSH, properly configured, is very simmilar and more simply for searchs.
Have Fun
but noone have buyed Treo700w? possible?
That'd be ace if there were a version for the Exec.
SPB Diary has a contacts plugin that does almost that. You'll get a contact list wich you can dial from.
I wonder if there is anyway to get the rotate screen icon back in to the tray on the Hermes?
You can use Spb Pocket Plus.
With this program installed you can hold where OK button is and get the option Rotate left and Rotate right.
Thanks for that tip, but I don't like SPB Plus.
What I was really after was a reghack.
Anyone?
Coercri,
You're not the only one who wants this icon back.
I had a wizard but after a upgrade the icon rotation of the WLAN was gone.
So if there is anyone who knows how to get this back we would very grateful.
Cheers,
Drifter
phmkeys and traylauncher are your friends, vijay555 also has a software that can do that. The only reason I use phm software is cause I was using them since before, but vijay is a pretty active member on the forums so using his software has many advantages. And best of all they hardly use any resources, do a search around for either set.
No one with an answer for a registry tweak?
Cheers,
Drifter
I tried copying across ScreenRotate_Service.dll and ScreenRotate_Service.dll.0409.mui from the Windows folder of my WM5 Himalaya, and imported the registry settings for the service, but I can't get it to work. This is the service which creates the rotate icon in the tray, and isn't present on my Hermes, so I think I'm heading in the right direction. Maybe someone can find the solution?
I think it has to do with the service not loading at startup, but I'm not sure how to fix this with my limited knowledge...
I readed ther's an application at address
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=45953
but I'm not able to open this page!
Someone can post here the application please?

HP has a today plug in that I really would like on my phone. Has anyone been able to remove it and create a .cab so it could be used on other phones?

Try this
A registry key may be missing (doesn't show the backlight level)
But it works well on my prophet!
EDIT: see www.rhinocode.com for full updated version... The backlight issue is due to the lack of ipaqutil.dll, which seem to be device specific...

Greeting,
And that HP Profiles? Does anyone have a cab for it?
Cheers.
Any developers or Moderator Developers have any idea of whether this is being developed?
Just thought it would be very useful for controlling the Mouse in RDP on Diamond and Touch Pro Devices!
It would basically function in the same way as a Laptop TrackPad!!
Any takers!
Off Topic!

Am still totally blown away by the Guy at MicroPC Talk that modded his Sony UX from a core 2 solo 1500 to a CORE2DUO!!!!!!!! (u7600)
Wish I had the balls to try something like that on mine!

I've been looking for this too. I used to have this app for my palm years ago but cant find anything like it anywhere these days :s
I use to have it in my samsung i780 (blackjack II). Is near recent so maybe it's possible to extract the driver. This function is controled with the optical black square pad in top of the keyb.

I don't have it now because I changed it for the Diamond, but maybe you can find some one who have it and gives you the diver for investigation.
Hope was usefull.

I tried installing the CAB for the Flick Menu from Verzio Envii (an O2 XDA Atom Life variant) on my Tmobile Wing but i can't get it to run. It installs but it won't launch, nothing happens when i tap /launch it...i guess there is a restriction where it would prompt to run or not when launched on a non Verzio Envii device, tried ResHack but i can't see anything related to it, I'm not into programming so thats so far what i can only do. I hope someone would hack this CAB file to run on any device or at least on an HTC.
Btw, the Flick Dynamic Menu runs like the finger friendly Task Manager from X1 Xperia where it would show the snapshot of any running tasks, probably would be the best task manager if hacked to run on any device!
it's very nice, thank you for your share
Can you provide larger screenshot..I can't see it clearly..thanks looks interesting
Wont work for me either (Touch Dual), however on the today screen something flickers and shows all sorts of colors jabbered through each other really short (couldn't take a screenshot, that short) and it does change the left softkey (which naturally won't work). I'd love to dig into this but I'm kind of not knowing what to do, so I'll open the .exe in a hex editor and see
dont worry you posted this in the correct place. alot of things start off that way such as manilla 2d.
now all i can suggest is too check this thread and wait. somebody will come along and get it too work.
I think you have lost somthing .
My phone is Verzio Envii , I have installed the cab above, but it doesn't run.
