HTC Herald WM6 Update?

Hi,
Is there a Herald update for WM6 ? Or is it possible to use updates from XDA Terra for Herald? (Herald with WM6 @ O2 germany).
I need german updates.

i was thinking the exact same thing. but i heard xda developers will no longer be working on roms, thats ashame

offical rom for wm6

guys this might have been covered, and if so I'm sorry but is there an offical hermes rom for wm6?
I have read on a few rss feeds that there is one kicking round from hermes offering a free update to wm6 with radio 148000, which sounds good to me!

All in all there are three differnet official roms: AT&T, DOPOD and O2 Germany.

WM 6 Offical for Tytn / Hemres

Just seen a post on Mobility which link to htc where they are offering WM6 upgrade at htc web site as stated below in Mobility.:
If you own a TyTN, you have great news … there is an upgrade for your device at the HTC site. If you have not already setup your eClub account there, you will need to do so to get the upgrade (BTW, it is a fast, easy process that provides you with a slew of benefits … so do it if you have not already).
Of course you need to remember that a ROM upgrade will erase ALL information so if you need something make sure you back up that data!!

One point it is for htc badged only. I have a v1605 variant so it does not show it for me yet and Vodafone do not know when they will release. I even told Vf that O2 had just announced their variant on the same Mobility site for their version of the Hermes.........

Hello!
I have a Vodafone Tytn.. for install this version of ROM, must be upgrade my SPL too?
I have SPL 1.10 oli.. and ROM Vodafone Italian.

AT&T 8525 question about TYTN II roms

Hello, I have an AT&T 8525 that is already SIM/CID unlocked and HardSPL'd. I am having some WIFI issues with the current rom I have on it (http://rapidshare.com/files/46467733/HTC_TyTN_WWE_3.54.255.3_6275_1.48.00.10_108.exe) and I want to know if it possible to install the official TYTN II rom onto this device or will there be compatibility or other issues?? Also, I found a link to the "official" WM6.1 rom here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=365068
Windows Mobile 6.1 official - 3.02.405.0 - Radio - 1.58.26.20
Does anyone know if this is the real HTC release?? ANd will it work with the AT&T 8525 that I have??

Since your device is a hermes....(aka HTC TyTN/AT&T 8525) the rom you've specified will not work because it is a rom for a Kaiser (aka TyTN II/AT&T 8925-Tilt).
AFAIK the official WM6.1 ROM for the Hermes hasnt emerged but there are ALOT of cooked version in the WM6 section. Good luck.

Where can I find an English language Rom for Qtek 9100? Its original OS is in dutch and I want to change it to English. Please...need help here. Thanks

if you are looking for an official English Vodafone Qtek 9100 wm5 Rom (WWE),you can get it here in this link,but if you want to upgrade to wm6,there's no official stock wm6 upgrade available,for that you'll have to flash a custom build wm6 rom,but then you'll have to SIM/CID unlock your phone first and upgrade.You'll find latest wm6 roms in the "Wizard mobile 6" forum.

zabardast_1 I tried this link below... but it gave me an Error [260] Update error while flashing the rom. And Ive noticed that everytime my phone starts to load, the connection between PC and phone is lost... and that same error popped-up.

You can flash the ROMs with the RUU in the ROM package, should you have trouble with upgrading, try Mun's RUU (thanks for the tip Boto).
Download Mun's RUU from the above link and replace it with the RUU in the Rom which you want to flash.
