dont know the first thing about wm6
but with all other versions
if one pick mynetwork in settings->connection advanced
and is connected to activesync
the device is automaticly using the pc's network for all it's
network access

Try unchecking the "Advanced Features" of the USB connection.
Hi,what about if i want my pc to use the wifi of my ppc?not gprs, i just want my computer connect to ppc and use it as the wireless adapter.

I have a Tmobile Vario (wizard).
AT work I use a laptop that is connected to the lan via the ethernet. The pc has wifi and bluetooth. Can I piggyback on this to get a connection to the internet using the vario ?

if your toy has bt or wifi, yes you can...
It has BT and WiFi, but what do I need to do to connect to the office laptop to utilise its internet connection ?

If you can, directly configure your phone to connect to the wifi connection, ignoring the pc.
However, if that's not possible, get your pc to connect to the net, then activesync to your pc using bluetooth and use activesync internet pass through to access the net on your phone.

Do you mean plugging the PDA into the pc and using the pda's wifi to connect to the internet on your pc?
connect the ppc to the wifi network
connect ur ppc to the pc using usb and make sure active sync is installed
you will have internet in both ur pc and ppc
btw will it not be better to get a usb dongle (wifi dongle)

that procedure won't work as far as i know, though if the main computer is on the wifi network then you will be able to access the internet on your ppc through activesync.
dongles are cheap anyway.

yes, i want to have internet on my pc !!!! using for this my pda (bluetooth or usb)!!! (pda IS CONNECT TO INTERNET VIA WI FI !!!!)

the procedure is working well with me i have shared internet via my Artemis i have few applications installed for internet it might be as a secondary effect of them?

I have a HTC Artemis with Artemis Touch 3.01 WWE ROM and a PC runing windows xp pro. I'm trying to connect my ppc to pc with a ad hoc connection with a wireless usb adapter 802.11 b/g. First i add a network to my pc and then to my ppc and i have the connection. But i cant accesse to internet and file sharing. I have a usb adsl modem connected to my pc with automatic ip.
please can any one explain me how to configure it to have internet and file sharing to my ppc do i need to create a vpn how can i do it?

First of all you haven't mentioned clearly how ADSL is connected to your PC, so it will be difficult to precisely give you the answer. Anyway following is a general outline which may help you.
You can, if
your PC's ADSL has inbuilt WiFi & is configured accordingly or ADSL connected to WiFi & then to PC through cable or WiFi ...and on Trinity you simply have to turn on the WiFi from CommManager & it will be connected ( not to forget that if there is security key on PC's end then you'll have to enter on your trinity side as well)

its quite easy just uncheck the advance network functionality in setting of connection and then connect and synch ur phone again to ur pc via bluetooth or usb cable to ur pc in which active synch is installed
