Windows Media Problems

I apologize if this has already been posted and if it has, I would appreciate you posting the link where it's at. Anyways, I have a problem with syncing my phone with windows media player. After syncing all the songs I selected onto my phone, I go into windows media and try to update the library. It proceeds to update. It says it has found 4-7 files after updating and added them. I then went into the library but when I went into any of the sections, (Artist, Songs, Albums, etc.) A popup shows and says "An unexpected error occurred.)
FYI, I am using an Att 8525 which was using windows mobile 6. I recently flashed it again, but it had happened before I flashed it but when I was still using windows mobile 6. The problem persists after flashing it and I can't think of anything else to do. I'm hoping someone here will help me, and any help will be appreciated. Also, I'm using the ATT 8525 with rom version build 17994.0.3.1

htc touch hd audio manager problem

audio manager palys song only for 3seconds and stop with error a problem has occured with audiomanager.exe pls tell microsoft about this problem
pls help how should i solve this problem

I've got the same problem. Just use the Windows Media Player for now, there is no solution to correct the MP3 player on the touchflo as I understand. HTC advised me to do a hard reset which I did, but it didn't solve the problem.
Make sure you report it to them though...

Stock rom? If yes, then thats your answer why. Flash to a custom rom, most probably your problem will be solved.
How to flash? read cRaCKwHoRe's guide from here.
Then flash Dutty's Rom v3.4 get from here

Manila Player skipps EVERY song :(

Hello,
my manila player skips every song i try to hear.
i tab on the play button and the player starts from the first song and skips all songs and stops at the last song. If i activate "repeat all" the process is continue endless
i've deleted my playlist and try to make a new, but the problem ist still present.
the problem is also present on the touch pro

has someone else this problem? or a fix?

Perhaps you need to let it update your library? It might be because the songs have moved...something along those lines I would guess...

One other thing to try is Format the SD card and then re-sync your entire library. It's a pain but can work.

No my song are at the same place on my storage card.

Did you by any chance delete your Volatile folder ? (should be located in \My Device\Application Data\) I've had what appears to be the same problem you are suffering, when I got a little too enthousiastic 'cleaning' my phone... If the folder is missing, try adding it

no sound

hi guys,
my touch hd can't open any music files, and for some reason i can't open any music playing programs like wma..... even when people call me or sms me.. my phone won't play any incoming sound or sms-alert....
can someone help me out of these problems?
phone info:
HTC touch hd
windows mobile 6.1
standard (i didnt flash or installed any cooked roms on it)

did you put some cabs for music
or mouve some folders or rineim from main memory to sd card

no i didnt installed anything... and all the music files (storage card and mainmemory) can't be openend for some reason.... and when i try to set an ringtone... then there will be an messeage with error en sais that the file is broken or is not available.
i hope you guys can help me with this problem ='(

[Q] Avi files on storage card not visible

Hello Guys,
glad to finally open my first thread Now the problem:
Recently i installed the Nexus Android Build on my HD2/Leo and everything worked fine for the last days. Today, I tried to get an .avi movie running. The problem is, not a single player i tested [all the popular ones] is able to find the files on the sd card. Furthermore, all file managers like astro have the same problem. I can not see any of the avi files i copied onto my sd card. It doesnt matter whether i copy them on the root folder or in a subfolder.
Has anyone an idea what the problem might be?

Have you tried restarting your phone after putting the files on? This sort of thing sometimes happened to me, the files would not appear on the sd card until I rebooted the phone. I think its an issue with some builds.

thx for this hint. Now i can at least see the files in the explorer. Unfortunately, i still cant play them. Whichever player (arc, mix, yx, meridian) i chose after tapping on the file i get wn error massage stating that the file can not be played. Any further suggestions?

Try vplayer beta, it's free in market. I use it to play avi movies.

Hi, vplayer aint working aswell. Do i have to install any codecs first or is there anything else i have to do to get avi running? Anyone here how has an androis build on its hd2 an can watch avis?

Try Arcmedia, is a good avi player

I dont think the problem are caused by the players but by the build.
