voice speed command software in original rom - P3600 General

Hello,
I replaced my old ROM (I do not remeber its number) with the newest Dopod 1.23.707.6. Old ROM did not have GPS enabled. However it did have nice tool to voice speed command.
Does anybody of you have such program and could share it with me ?
Dopod does have voice speed command but it is not so easy to use as it was in my previous ROM. In Dopod you have to say i.e. "Call Mike". In the old one you could just said Mike and Mike's number was dialing.
Thanks in advanced.

Thanks Shayd,
Voice_TRI.cab is the one I was looking for !

Please help: Smart Dial is missing on my cingular 8125

I just recently reinstalled 2.25.11 WWE rom, thanks to risidoro tutorial, after unsuccessfull ROM change to Dopod 838 ROM.
After I reinstalled the original Cingular 2.25.11 ROM, the smart dial function is missing on my phone.
This is the feature that allows me to find the contact by dialing the first couple character of the contact name.
Please help how to get this function reinstalled? thanks.

Dopod 838 Pro Users

Dopod 838 Pro Users which version of voice dial do you have IE is it actually called Cyberon Voice Dial or Cyberon Voice Commander?
My TyTn has Voice Dial and I miss the functionality of Voice Commander if Dopod Users have Voice Commander I may try to flash to the Dopod ROM unless someone has an easier solution?
You can download the Dopod extended rom which contains the Cyberon cab files. You want the CVC cab files.

Much appreciated, I will try a transplant later today, of course back up my original files first
Unlocked my extended ROM and deleted the contents after making a backup. Loaded the Dopod 838 Pro Extended Rom and hard reset, I have Voice Commander now! plus a MP3 player and another camera program (mark it) funny thing is that Voice Dial is still on the TyTn (not a big thing) but wondering why since I deleted the Extended ROM completly prior to copying over the Dopod One and hard resetting.
Hi, sorry about maybe going off course a bit....this pda stuff is all new to me, but could you have just installed the CVC.cab and left the TyTN ext ROM alone?
I was just wondering, I havent recieved my TyTN yet, but I learned about a few things in the ext Dopod rom that I thought I might like, and was kinda wanting to do what you did, but just add them to my device.
Thanks

I extracted the Cyberon Voice Commander from my Prophet and ran it on my TyTn it said it installed but did not for some reason. the CVC.CAB might work if I had known which CAB had the actual Voice Commander install (from Dopod 838) I would have tried it first.

Solved: Some newbie questions about upgrading from WM2003 to WM6

Hi @all,
First of all I would like to thank all the xda-developers for their outstanding work, especially to Helmi.
I am thinking about upgrading my VPA III to WM6. It is a VPA III (PH20B2) from Vodafone Germany.
Before I continue in upgrading, could someone please answer me the following questions:
1. Can I use Helmis ROM to upgrade my device?
2. I did a backup of my ROM with the mtty-tool on sd-card. Is it possible to go back to the original ROM by using this sd-card, as far as I do not change the size of my ExtROM, by inserting it into the device and change into bootloader?
3. Is there a possibility to use my qwertz-hardwarekeyboard? (It is, found in the forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=326687)
4. Is there a german translation?
5. Can I use my BT-headset to use voicedial by using MS-VoiceCommand 1.6 (did not work under WM2003)?
Thanking you in advance
Peter
Is there anybody who can answer even one of my questions? The most important one is question numner 2.
Greetings
Peter
...
the answer is yes
Hi borjok536,
thank you for the answer. Does it mean "Yes" to all my questions or only "Yes" to question number two? I am still afraid of upgrading because the last time I did it I got massive problems with my bluetooth. I had to send my VPA to vodafone.
By the way: In all descriptions (wiki and forum) they all speak about PH20B1 or PH20B or PH20A1 but mine is a PH20B2. Does it make any difference?
Thank you
Peter
Hi All,
I too have a PH20B2. It's a Vodaphone UK V1620. Vodaphone often refuse to belive it exists when I speak to them!
I'd love to know if this ROM is safe to use with it.
Cheers,
Steve
Hi stevenw10,

Vodafone will not support WM6 on your phone; also will not support WM5.
Its safe to use, but isn't perfect; nor isn't WM2003.
@linuxpete
I don't have any of your problems with WiFi or GPS

I realise that Vodaphone won't support anything other than WM2003/SE.
What I didn't realise, before I bought it, is that they don't really want to support the hardware at all!
I have rung them and told them I have a Vodaphone V1620 and they have said to me 'that phone does not exist'!
Not really what I call good support.

You're running an XDA IIs which is the standard PH20B and not a PH20B2 like me and linuxpete.
Anyone else tried a PH20B2?
Steve
Yes me. I installed WM6. I will keep it. I still got the problem with BT and Voice Command. I can't hear any announcements form VC through my Headset. Anyway in WM2003 this wasn't (and couldn't) working either. I also got problems with my GSM. I must manually connect to GSM 900 MHZ (Vodafone Germany). With GSM 1800 MHZ everything wokrs fine (I use a dual-sim-adaptor). I can live with it.
Greetings
Peter
That's great news Peter!
I'm off to try it now.
Steve
