I have a problem to receive MMS.
I can send MMS
I can recieve and download MMS from myself
I can receive MMS from someone else - I can see sender name, MMS size etc. But when I tap - download I can see receiving notification icon at the top. Then it is disappeared and MMS still not downloaded. I tried many times but there is no success.
Smb can help?
I have a problem with any MMS! I can't seem to send or receive! Settings are as indicated by everyone but though it connects to WAP (UK O2 network) ok and WAP-able, MMS is no-go. Think you could write a few notes on what your settings are? I have a feeling it's the configuration of the MMS server, tia.

Hi All,
how can one disable the MMS size limit of MMS Composer 2.0.0.22
of Arcsoft ?
I have recorded a few about 295 Kbytes MMS Videos and
now I can not send them away with the integrated MMS composer program...
Is there any other MMS programm available, that works better ?
What is the latest version of Arcsoft MMS composer ?
Thanks.
Regards, Stefan.

i think MMS size limit is not just controlled by the mms composer but also by your network.. so even if you can compose an mms with a 200kb+ size you cant send it coz your network will not alow you to send mms beyond the limit size..
All German networks now support 300 KBytes.
Also some private MMS Servers also accept 1 Mbytes and more.
So where can I change the size limit inside MMS Composer
to more than 200 Kbytes ?
Thanks.
Regards, Stefan.
Registry hack
Go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ArcSoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\UI\SizeLimit] with your favorite registry editor and edit one of the SendLimit values.
Many thanks. I am trying it out now.
The size limit is now displayed changed.
Many thanks.
Regards, Stefan.
Hi,
a new MMS with a 241 Kbytes Video went through,
but not a MMS with a 297 Kbytes video...
Why ?
Is it already bigger than the 300 Kbytes limit ?
Thanks.
Regards, Harti.
As earlier stated the MMS sixe is limited by your carrier (well at leaset mine is).
Go to Messaging and select your MMS account.
Then go Tools>MMS Configuration
Click the Servers Tap and tap on your account provider (mines Telstra)
Now on that page you will see a "Sending size limitation" Change it the the highest you have (mines 250K)
So i'm guessing as yours 294K it might not send if your carrier only goes to 250K.
Hi,
I am trying again with the normal O2 MMS server to send it,
but it also refuses to send it.
earlier I tried the free mmstt.de MMS server from a friend on the Internet,
where you can send free MMS to email addresses.
So it seems the O2 WAP APN proxy
wap.viaginterkom.de
is limiting the file size also to around 250 Kbytes.
Regards, Stefan.
Can anybody help me with the correct settings - Vodacom cant.
I get the message unable to receive messages
Thanx Tim
Sure Tim,

Gateway: 196.6.128.13
Port: 8080

To set it up goto Text Messages and then Menu -> MMS Configuration
Hope that helps.
Sorry, cant answer your post since im on a different network.. but i have the same problem..
It would be nice if we have a sticky on how to configure MMS/GRPS settings for different countries/networks. Im in Malaysia and I visited the Digi stores and employees there cant help me... they just keep tinkering with my phone! arrgghh
Thanx have those settings - but what do you connect via:
I suspect this is where I have the problem: It was set as connect via : Vodacom MMS - any suggestions?
Tim
Actually I can send MMS fine. I just tested recieving a msg from a friend and I get the Notifications MMS, but it won't download the actual message. Just says "Unable to retrieve from server" or summing like that.
Hmm..
well I am still trying - will let you know if I come right
Attached you will see the MMS settings for the Tytn.
Im having the same problem! I am able to send MMS's, but when I try recieve them it gives me the error...
"Unable to recieve your message(s). Your message notification(s) will remain in the Inbox"
If I try sending myself an MMS I recive that fine. Is it maybe something like the format that Im recieveing them is wrong? Im using the ROM "Garmin 10.final"
thanks for any help!
I have updated the tmobile rom using the K-JAM_WWE_216901_2169101_020710_ship.exe rom. Everything seems ok apart from the fact that i can send mms messages
I am using the setup for tmobile connections and the internet works fine. When i click send for mms it automatically states that unable to send your messages your message will remain in the outbox!
any ideas?? Thanks in advance
you need to setup mms configuration, search for MMS settings.
sorry i dont know the settings but they are available on the forum.

i'm on O2 paygo and have to use the wap network to get my mms to work, this maybe different for tmobile.
there may be some cab files on the ftp to help get the settings working.
i've just upgraded my rom so need to do this myself but for O2.
good luck if you find a solution please post it to help other tmob users
regards
Rob

i've had same problem few days ago, despite i didn't change anything ins MMS settings. i've had to reenter and confirm the same settings again and it just started work fine.
glad u got it sorted
I can again no longer send mms. I have reverted to a previous backup i had and can no longer send mms. I checked all my settings and they were as above - the settings that worked previously - I have definately got The Internet selected for connecttion. I have also tried demoniks settings for tmobile and stil no joy! the strange thing is i can receive messages just cant send any! Any ideas woudl be greatly appreciated!
may not be relevant but a recent Atom ROM upgrade messed up MMS sending but only
if you insert the contact, if you manually type the number to send to it works.
cheers mate for the response. I tried that but i still get the unable to send error! This is the most buggy phone i have ever had! It is a really good phone but appears to have so many issues!! Its a full time job trying to get fixes for it! I have three issues at present:-
1) No sound when SMS is received
2) Wont turn on at certain times
3) MMS wont send
does anyone have a handset anda build with no bugs?????
I have been sent an MMS message but I cannot seem to receive it and I just get the message that it will be kept in the inbox. Can someone please tell me how to receive these type of messages? Thanks JD76
