I am running Win Xp, Outlook 2003 and AS 4.5 with no problem.
Wll I still be able to sync if I upgrade to Outlook 2007?
Any known problem?

Why is it ActiveSync 4.0 or 4.1 works only with Outlook 2002 an dnot 2003? Any further update expected? I mean it was such a jump from ActiveSync 3.8 to 4.1, yet it sync with an old version
I'm afraid it works fine for me. I have Outlook 2000 SP3 at work, and Outlook 2003 SP1 at home, and I'm happily syncing my JasJar with both with no problems yet. I think I'm still using a very old beta release of ActiveSync 4 at home (can't check at the moment) but I don't see why that should work better than the latest version?
I would suggest uninstalling / re-installing etc, etc, but I'm assume you've been through the obvious?
ActiveSync & Outlook2002
Thanks sub69. I have tried uninstalling Outlook 2002 and reinstalled 2003. It worked with no diffeculty.
Gosh, this seems to be a new problem i am having with synchronising WM5 with groupwise. Any help pleaseeeee?????

Until WM5 I was able to do this with a PC running Groupwise 6.5.2. I just loaded Outlook 2002 on the same PC and that mirrored what was in Groupwise.....amazing but true! (but now not working as PC is on Novell network and novell workstation software stops Activesync working, so I can't sync anymore...and Activesync 4.1 made no diference....answers on a postcard please).
Hi guys,
I'd like to sync my Jamin with the Outlook of my laptop and the Outlook of my pc in office both.
At the moment, I sync my Jamin only with my laptop and in office I configured activesync to has no syncronization item. (I use activesync just to install app and use pocket controller.)
Wich is the best way to sync both the pcs in my actual situation?
P.S: I use Outllok 2003 in both pc.
Mine syncs to 2 PCs just fine. I only sync email one one but everything else on both.
Are you using ActiveSync 4.1 on both PCs?

Click to collapse
So you don't have a problem. Just enable whatever you want to sync. It should work perfectly.
Thnks guys!
I'll try...
P.S: I use the newest Activesync 4.2!

This is error:
Your device cannot synchronize with the current Outlook profile on the desktop. This may be because a different profile was used to set up synchronization with your device, or because the profile is password-protected. Please open Outlook using the appropriat.
I reinstalled Windows Mobile Device Center and it's still the same error. My Outlook profile has no password, I don't even have e-mail profile in Outlook, I just want to transfer contacts.
What should I do, please help me
You may need to update drivers @ Cibale! to more easily use Ms. WMDC for Windows Vista (32 or 64- bit) you can get in :
- Vista (32-bit) http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=14
- Vista (64-bit) at http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=3182
Drivers for what?
I don't have vista, I'm using win 7.. drivers on my PC are always up to date because of win 7 automatic (driver) updates
WMDC for Windows Vista also supports and works on windows 7
