I want to snyc my phone with outlook, but when I connect my device and open Windows Mobile Device Center and click snyc, I get error. I can't snyc it :S
This is error:
Your device cannot synchronize with the current Outlook profile on the desktop. This may be because a different profile was used to set up synchronization with your device, or because the profile is password-protected. Please open Outlook using the appropriat.
I reinstalled Windows Mobile Device Center and it's still the same error. My Outlook profile has no password, I don't even have e-mail profile in Outlook, I just want to transfer contacts.
What should I do, please help me
You may need to update drivers @ Cibale! to more easily use Ms. WMDC for Windows Vista (32 or 64- bit) you can get in :
- Vista (32-bit) http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=14
- Vista (64-bit) at http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=3182
Drivers for what?
I don't have vista, I'm using win 7.. drivers on my PC are always up to date because of win 7 automatic (driver) updates
WMDC for Windows Vista also supports and works on windows 7

Both machines are up todate as far as updates and both have windows mobile device center installed.????
hi,
is there a PC Suite for the HTC HD2? if so where can i downlod it?
many thanks
srinivas
In a word- no specific PC suite, but you can download the synchronisation software.
What you need is Windows Mobile Device Centre (for Win7 or Vista) or Activesync (for XP) which will allow you to synchronise your data. Both of these are availble from Microsoft as downloads. If you are going to connect to the PC make sure to download and install the relevant program BEFORE connecting as otherwise there will be no compatible USB drivers.
The downside is that WinMo doesn't now include Outlook for the PC as it used to, and it won't sync with Windows Mail or Outlook Express, so unless you own or wish to buy Outlook there's little point in syncing. You will need to use the sync software if you want to apply an official ROM update.
Thank you for the information
I'm new to smart phones. I did not receive a cd with my phone - HTC Touch2T3333. I'm unable to connect the phone to the laptop. I don't know where to find the software. I'd like to sync my phone to my laptop for the use of the calander. I don't use outlook. Can anyone help???
