hello,
i try to resolve my problem, it is possible to write a complet rom on sd card for boot and restore my prophet? i think yes but i haven't backup of rom with 'r2sd' may be you have one and i try to restore ? or if possible to transcode nk.nbf to write on sd card?
i try to downgrad my "prophet" and now i have (boot loader mode) only with AC adaptator and i see this: "
"get the battery out.
cut your charger cable open
the inner cable, the one inside of the inner white one connects to pin 1 from the physical top.
the outer one of the charger cable connects to the fifth pin from the physical top
no you go into bootloader and connect the usb cable, flash over another rom and try if it works... GET OUT THE BATTERY BEFORE YOU CONNECT THE PINS mine got damaged because of that"
but my english is not well, can you try to explend me in french or by a graphic please?

Hey hackers.
Im trying to dump rom from my T830 device and make usable .nb* files
that I could flash back onto my device if i mess something up?
I did following:
1) used itsutilsbin-20061103:
1.1) "pdocread -l" returns:

1.2) from above info i dumped 5 partitions:

handle 4beb72be 2.31M (0x24fc00) (partition5.raw)
1.3) from looking at this dumps i figured that:
partition1.raw = bootloader
partition2.raw = user filesystem
partition3.raw = imgfs
partition4.raw = ???
partition5.raw = ???
Question is what are 4 and 5? and how do I convert this 5 .raw dumps into usable/flashavle files? I'm attaching strings dumps of 1,4 and 5 raw files.
Any tips would be appreciated guys. And no... no one on FSC forums knows or done anything like this. I think im first for T830 model. So I need help with not bricking my device.
Hi!
I own a german P4350 without any simlock with WM5 installed. There is an official RUU for german WM6 out but no RUU for german WM5.
Is it possible to backup the current ROM (OS) before an update to WM6? I'm not sure if I like WM6 and if everything will work with it. Is WM6 worth an update? Is there an (english) WM5-RUU out which accepts german devices to do a downgrade back to WM5?
Another way I thought would be a backup of the ROM.
I found pdocread /write for reading and writing the ROM but I've no clue which handle is the OS-ROM. Anyone who could explain the different handles? And is it possible to do a backup and restore with these tools?
Thanks for your help!
Chris

search for "dumpmyphone" and run it from youre sd card. Then you get som raw files that you can use to reconstruct youre rom. This is the only way i know of
i don't think it will work either
I tried to get to the bottom of this and it appears whatever You do the extracted files will not be digitally signed, therefore not re-installable
did you try like that ?
Code:
pdocread -w -d [B]DSK1:[/B] -b 0x800 -p Part00 0 0x31f000 Part00.raw
and so on...
cheers,
ouioui01
Ps: you can't flash it until hardspl will be released!
it will return zero byte file
it is stanage it is not FLASHR read by the program
