I had no audio at all coming out of my xda2 including thr ring. I pulled the device appart and manualy checked the speaker. The speaker still works. The problem must be with the chip. The audio in still works.
Dose anyone know if the xda1 has a compatible audio chip and speaker? I have 2 xda1's and would like to do a transplant.

hi
i have got a s100/i-mate and a lot of audiobooks,
Connecting via FM transmitter gives me bad sound,
My car sound system has not input jack,
I tried BHCS stack but it does not recognize my handsfree,
Is there any way to transmit sounds (Mp3 from WMP for instance) to my car handsfree? (Southwing NeoCar model)
Thanks!
i only heard from such a software,
which will transmit every output from a magician to a handsfree.
So, it must be possible to find such a software. I will ask my colleague.
My colleague mails me the software he is using and what he tested on his mda.
OK, he uses a wizard. But I hope, it will run on our magician too. If not, maybe you can find the software-writer and look, if there is a running version for our device.
I haven't tested the software since now.
Hope i could help you with that. Oh, my colleague uses the software for the same aim in listing to hearbooks.
i have a i-mate jam, which i use as mp3 player and it has been working ok but now the sound from the headphones is only coming out the right headphone, i replaced the headphones but still have the problem, i have check the scoket and it seems to be conectiong with the plug propley.
is it possiable that a setting has been changed and turn output from stero into mono
thanks,
craig
i tried adding a mono to stero adapter in the headphone scoket and they sound went completly,
i think one of the connector inside your headphone jack is broken... i experience also that problem when the right side of my earphone is not workin, i dissamble my unit and i found that the connector is broken so i mold it with soldering iron and led..... this usually happen when you put your phone on your pocket and upon sitting the headphone jack looses to the other side...
Bluetooth A2DP
Good day
Why don't you go bluetooth A2DP works good.
hi all!
i got a problem with my lovely prophet. the microphone volume is very very low since a few days. at first i checked the audio jack and soldered a bridge on the contacts because i dont need the jack... but the problem is still the same. when i try to record a new note, i have to shout very loud at my prophet to get some recording. and answering calls is still impossible...
do anybody know this issue? is it possible to adjust the microphone volume? or is this a known hardware-bug at the S200 modells?
regards Alex
am i the only one with a prob. like this?

Does It work with Your Headphone ?
I bridged the contacts in the audio jack, so i can not use a wired headset. and i don't have a bluetooth headset...
but it must be a hardware-issue because i flashed a few different ROMs and got this issue with all of them...
Hi,
somehow I can't get my BT Headset get to work with the FM Radio.
Only the regular headset (needed as antenna) produces sound..
Any suggestions?
I search the forum but could find a topic, is there I any I missed.. let me know.
Maybe im wrong, but i think you have already nailed this one the clue being the antenna bit.
I was asking myself the same question. I imagined two solutions :
1) Take an old headset, cut wire 20 cm maybe from the connector to have an antenna (sort of). But I wonder if there is no side effect (infinite impedance headset supported ?)
2) Maybe there exists special FM antenna who plugs in an headset plug ? I have searched such device, but not found.
But there is, with both solution, a potential problem : if HD detects an headsed (even a false one), maybe sound will not be routed to BT...
But I'll try the first solution one day or other
When using bt headphones, I plug a dummy stereo jack to disable the speakers. So, if the bt is disconnected, music will not go through the device speakers.
When doing so, I noticed that radio works quite well. However the sound is not routed to bt headphones so from the menu the only option is to play through the device speakers. Reception is ok with nothing but a stereo jack, but this doesnt solve the issue of routing sound to bt headphones.
Care to try this

The attached app is for re-routing audio to a paired BT headset. I've never tried it as i don't have a BT Headset
You'll still need to attach an antenna of some sort (e.g. a normal set of HTC headphones with the ear buds cut off so it look's sort of made for the task)

Hi,
I tried it.. but unfortunatelly it's not working..
it's muting the regular output but still no output to the BT headset.
Actually, regular playback is also not working to BT when I use this programm..
thanks for the tip, it was worth a try.. too bad
Regards.
I prefer these headphones much more than my old Apple ones. They buttons work fine without an extra app but the mic doesn't seem to work. Can't tell if it's a software issue or a hardware one.
Anyone else have some insight on this issue?
Try using different headsets with mic to make sure it's not your phone, then use the same headset with different phones to make sure it's not your headset, and use same headset same phone with different softwares to see. Then use same headset same phone same software but different audio file. Sounds complicated, but it's easier done.
I did some tests and indeed the mic is broken on the headset and has nothing to do with the phone. Thank you for the feed back!
