Unlock CID of Prophet SPL 2.xx

The programmers of www.pdamobiz.com in Thailand have successfully unlocked the CID for HTC Prophet SPL 2.xx. More information is available at:

Does anyone succefully download the unlock program? the connexion is very very slow on their server (I'm downloading in Bytes/sec :shock: instead MBytes)...

Im probably missing something here, but isnt it enough just using Machinagod great No ID crack when upgrading a ROM?
Just copy it to the nbf files and run it, works like a charm.
So, what is the difference with this application?

I don't know the app you're talking about, but we're talking here about downgrading, not upgrading a rom...
Moreover, does your application remove CID on prophet with SPL 2.xx ?

well, should have tested that before speaking...
doesn't work for me, once run the downgrading program, I soft reset but the device stay blocked on splah and I can't connect back to active sync to run the unlock program... too bad, that seemed to be a good way to downgrade rom :?

...great work! just used it on my qtek s200 that i've accidently flashed with the latest o2 germany rom without cid-unlocking before. now i can really put any rom on it

Actually I tried various time... I'm on the last Dopod rom, i started as said, then when I reboot, the device is stuck on dopod splash screen...
So I have to go into the boot loader in order to reflash the dopod rom I have... at least I can do that and keep my S200 working
Maybe this doesn't work with the last Dopod rom, but at least it worked for others

we need a Thai to Eng. translation to understand the problem
Unfortunately my device can not continue with second step. After I softreset it; the device freezes. Neither hardresetting, nor putting in bootloader and continuing with hard or soft reset helps. I reflashed the latest Dopod ROM and continued to use it.
I can not read Thai language but from the original discussion (not english but in Thai language) I see that a number of people are having the same problem. I also understand that the suggested solution works for some others.
The english version is not a full translation of the original discussion; translation of a lot of answers are missing.
We need the help of our Thai friends to understand what is going on.

I guess that it works on certain rom version, if you've the dopod one like I had, then it confirm that this method is useless with the last dopod rom...
But we have confirmation it work with other roms... maybe it's not really working on SPL 2... roms :?

I took a look on the Thai version, now it's clear that it doesn't work on the last dopod rom SPL 2.15 !!!!!!!

cedrick - Sorry you have failed to CID-unlock your Prophet and congratulations to lutzh that has succeeded.
From the Thai version of this utility, many people could unlock their devices but some did fail to do that. Not sure only the SPL 2.15 or not that couldn't be unlocked but at least 2 people claimed that their devices are SPL 2.15.
The website programmers are still trying to investigate and find the solution to help people who failed. Please hang on. Good luck!

No problems about the failure, that's already nice to see tools like that that can help a bunch of people.
Now I hope it will also work on the dopod rom as I really liked it and I would like to update my prophet with this rom. But I prefer to wait until there's a way to get back to whatever rom :wink:

Dead Dutch HTC 3300?

Hi Guys,
I have searched the forum, but no solution for my problem. I had a dutch htc 3300. My device is not unlocked. I have tried to flash the pdamobiz rom to my device and since can`t get by the splash screen. STUPID!!! I can get into the bootloader but I need the original dutch rom to flash. Can anybody upload please? Cannot do anything with it now.
If I am right, there is no way to unlock the device in this situation!?!
Any suggestions?

That refers to the flashing Tmobile boot screen that shows and stays.. it wouldn't boot any further.
If you press record (left top side of your device, small button above the volume slider) and hold this while pressing reset you will get into the real bootloader mode (a tri-colour screen) that allows you to do a USB connect.
Now go to: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Artemis_Upgrades
and download the following ROM for your T-Mobile device:
T-Mobile English T-MOB005 ARTE***** 1.13.110.1 9/22/06 1.13.110.101 1.13.0000 02.49.90 4.1.13.25 (direct link: ftp://xda:[email protected]/art_tmouk_11311001_024990_wwe_ship.exe)
Just run this exe while in that bootloader (tri-colour) mode.

What language was your original T-Mobile in? I presume Dutch since you live in Holland. Unless you had your phone unlocked before you tried to flash it, you can only restore the same ROM. Unfortunately there is no Dutch ROM as far as I know.

So how did you solve it? Thought you had this problem 2 months ago..
And yes the original language was Dutch..
Im contacting T-Mobile right now, and they should have a NL version but the site is down atm.

Personally I never tried to flash my phone, maybe you read an answer from me to someone with a similar problem.
T-Mobile can provide you with the correct ROM, but I don't think it can be found at their site. Well, it was not there last time I looked anyway.

Hmm you were right.. it was somebody else.
The ROM should be avaible @ http://www.t-mobile.nl/software but that site isn't working at the moment. They told me that the only thing I could do now, is going to a T-Mobile shop and let them send it for a fix.
So my hopes are on a PM that I send to the author of this post. Perhaps he's able to give me the original ROM.

Mmm, I think he was looking for a T-Mobile ROM in the English language, so you cannot use that because it has a different signature. Unless you're phone is unlocked?

I just checked their Dutch site and it is up and running again. Hate to disappoint you, but there is no original complete Dutch ROM for download, only an update with a Blackberry Client.
You may find a ROM for a MDA III though, be careful not to use that one because that is a different model, also known as Blue Angel. It has a sliding mechanism and a keyboard for example.

from a friend that also had a HTC P3300 NL and hope to make

So let's hope that will work!

But if you made a backup you still need to connect to your MDA while it's in bootloader...

Sorry to tell you but there are REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY no other options.
The mistake from you was to use the risky ROM update without CID unlocking the phone BEFORE.

I've a broken HTC P3300 (Dutch). The story is this:
It has no sim-lock but it does have a CID-Lock.
I update my Dutch HTC P3300 to this ROM:
- PDAMobiz_Dopod_P800W_AKU301_v1.1.2_PowerMap
and that whent great. Everything worked. After this i saw another ROM and i installed it:
- Tom HTC Artemis Rom v2.00.01 PDAVIET
and the update whent fine, but after hard reset it stops at the HTC Logo with the version numbers.
I only can get to the bootloader and do some thing with hyperterminal (mtty.exe).
When i want to install this ROM:
- HTC_1.12.405.01_026790_WWE_SHIP
it says that i get this error after 2%:
ERROR [244] WRONG MODEL ID
When i use art_tmouk_11311001_024990_wwe_ship.exe it says i have the WRONG VENDER ID.
I have made a backup with aWizard and have these files:
-HTCLogo.nba
-OS.nba
-Radio.nba
-Splash.nba
-boot.rgu
and a folder ExtRom that is empty...
Can you help me with this? I hope so!!

herald bricked,seems to be no way out....

using pof herald beta tool,I decompiled c800 .nbh file,and rebuild it into a herald ruu file,successful write into my p4350,but badly,my herald bricked....
only can start with bootloader..
ipl remain: 4.17.0002(herald wm6 ipl)
but spl become: 1.09.0002(c800's spl)
I try to flash original rom that I used before,but it didn't work by ERROR300,and ppc screen stop at 0%. I TRY any ruu I can find,wm5 wm6,but the same ERROR300.
what can I do? is there any way to go?? or I have to change the flasher?

You need to flash original rom matching your CID, this means the SAME language and the SAME operator/carrier ROM that was originally on your device when you bought it. After flashing this rom device will boot again.

Where did you buy your phone? What type is it? Is it an actual HTC Herald? if you bought it from a cell carrier, maybe you can log into their site and download it there.

my phone is actually htc herald,no doubt of this,but I bricked it when I change the SPL IPL.... so the SPL had become wrong.

pof,,,,it really became no way out,I think I should go to the shop,and repair it with a new flasher.

me too and tried many rom but fail erro 300 0% stop IPL AND SPL 1.08.001 . it was died and waiting for new unbrick way

wooo...cost me 400rmb to make it repaired,changed a flasher and I now the make my herald superCID . after repaired I used the SDcard to flash the wm6ruu (using the file named heraimg.nbh on sdcard) .whatever it's ok now thanks everyone

Is the older one v4.20 for testing. what he released is v4.60
OLIpro start testing the hard spl with me,form v4.1 to v4.5 till my herald bricked he test with another guy and released the v4.6.I notice that oli maybe forgot to double up the nb file,it should be 1024large,and the nbh file should 1025 kb

I don't know.you should ask olipro.
IF you are T-WING or VADEFONE or HTC 4350 no need to unlock.just use JumpSPL by pof to flash your SPLASH EXTROM OS,but don't do anything else.
JUMPSPL,jump into 0x10000000,then flash with ROMUpdateUtility.exe to flash NBH file.
NBH file can make youself by using HTCRT.exe.
SPLASH file can make youself by using SplashScreen.exe
EXTROM you can edit it with winimage.

I flashed my German XDA Terra (Herald) from TOuchIt 1.1 to 2.0 and doing so I briked my device.
I tried the HArd SPL, nothing worked.
Whenever i want to Flash, I get into bootloader mode, then at 2% the device restarts and I get INvalid Vendor ID or when I try the Hard SPL I get "Corrupted Image"
What can I do to unbrick my device since there is no RUU for the XDA terra WM6
Please help !!!!!

I wud request if u can read my opinion on lower bootloader in the Hard SPL thread.I hv been trying and trying, but failing,untill POF released Jump SPL.
Just as an information, lower bootloader Heralds shd b upgraded to higher bootloader first using Jump SPL.
Pls do not flash a part of ROM...viz only OS or only radio..pls flash the complete ROM and yr herald will boot with the new OS and higher bootloader.
Then one can use aserg techniques to flash OS.nb..If one flashes OS.nb in lower bootoader, one will get Radio Error.So it is important to get higher bootloader first.
With Jump SPL, also, pls do not try to flash any part of ROM, just flash a full NBH, else it will not boot yr Herald.
Hv tried above with 10 heralds(Dopod C800 with BL 1.09)

MAYBE that a way.I know that the spl ipl must be suit for the radio or it will not boot,will gone black screen.

first,you mean flash high SPL IPL like WM6 one totally NBH via Jumpspl?
second,Jumpspl to flash,if you succeed.the device will boot normally?
third,after you flash,which cid do you have?(check in MTTY or try to flash the ruu which you get the NBH)
fourth,if I want to try,maybe I would like to make a nbh with hard-spl to flash.after all,it cid unlock,and we can do something more if it failed.

Hey, I have a bricked Terra too, is there any way I can fix it? I get into Bootloader, I had WM6 before, Updated to TouchIt 1.1 then when I tried to Update to TouchIt 2.0 It bricked.
Any ideas?
When I leave it load it will not go past the O2 Bubble screen.
When I try to update it only goes to 2% and then I get invalid vendor ID.
Please advise Me!!

If you are htc p4350,don't worry about anything.follow my steps:
1,Take off your battery to get you SN.
2,GO TO www.htc.com
3,Mouse action to E-CLUB icon.
4,Join is member with your SN,then login on.
5,You will see "Phone Software Updates" follow it and you will get a Offical RUU cid suit your device.
6,After downloaded,RUN the RUU and your device will back to life.your IPL SPL will change into 4.17.your os will be wm6.
7,if you can't find anything in "Phone Software Updates".please try all the WM6 RUU for HTCP4350 in the first post to find one suit for you cid.try the WWE one first.

I think you must first change ROM

Yes, right now, there is no RUU for the terra, so he has to send it to O2 for repair.

HELP required urgently !!!

Hello anyone,
i just have done some bull****, i guess...
yesterday evening i copyed "EnterBootloader.exe" via USB to my VPA compact 4 & run it from over there. meanwhile this step i was connected to USB (maybe the fault [?])! the SIM-card was inside the device, but no SD-Card.
next a whitescreen popped up and i waited 1.5min... i couldn't wait any longer, so i pressed on-/off-button...
nothing happened if i press the on-/off-button again, nothing happens! no LED is blinking any longer, even i connect it to 230V.
my situatin is really uncomfortable to me - please help me to get back the manufacturers settings!

why did you copy "EnterBootloader.exe" to your device and run it? What where you trying to do?

my thought was to find out, which SPL my device is...
so far for now i'm in the bootloader screen (RGB-colors) & able to connect to USB...
i guess i need a original RUU & ROM for Vodafone GER. if i'm wrong please correct and show me howto install any other ROM via any RUU...
my bootloader offers me this:
IPL: 1.09.0001
SPL: 1.09.0001

You can NOT flash custom ROM's. Your SPL is too low. Try flashign the official ROM for your providor.

It was not my intention to flash any ROM...
Thanks for the advice, but for now i'm unable to flash any provider ROM, because i don't have any!
...i guess it should be a GERMAN vodafone ROM, because that was the last runnig stable.
now a few questions, which the WIKI was unable to answer:
where to get this unknown ROM?
over here?
how to install (guide/tut would be nice...)?
what about the two different "goldcard"-methods?

what about the so-called "Unbricker"?

Well it's not going to solve his problem.
I wish my website could fix his phone in an instant, but it can't He'll have to do the Goldcard, most likely

So, if the Goldcard is the best solution for my Herald, i have to try it... otherwise there is no way out.
BUT:
The website "hides" a link to the official ROM of T-Mobile Wing (US).
I've modified the link, but i don't know if i'm at the right place over HERE.
Maybe i should try it, but they need the so-called IMEI... i don't want to offer it to them, only if it would solve my problem!
As far as i know, i need to download the official ROM of Vodafone Germany with SPL-version 1.09.
If any of you has this ROM or something that could help my to find it, please post a "hint" for me where to get
