Handsfree versus headset
Hi,
I tried and first thing, everything work now as fine as before so a first good point.
Second one problem : my Bluespoon AX is only recognize as a Hands-free and you can only set "Audio redirection" for Headset.
Perhaps some registry work ?
I will continue to investigate
very nice patch indeed..
installed it on my JAM... an it runs OK...
some extinsive testing is required however... I'll let you know later
Thank you kevinyang6688

INstalled it but I have no clue how to make it work. Been to the BT settings and everything is there but I have no clue to as it does not detect my my Jabra BT250V.
Will this work in actually turning my Jabra into an audio headset or is it only as phone headset?
Does this help at all with the Nokia car kit echo issue?
Cheers
i'm using O2 mini. After installed... Nothing shown in the "Default headset" drop-down-list-box of the Audio tab
Anyone having similar issue?

Man, you seriously kick a$$! This cab adds A2DP, FTP (successfully sent a series of 3 files to my Magician   ), Audio Gateway (was able to use my laptop as a BT handsfree ), BT Printing Profile... AWESOME!!! Takes MS BT stack to a whole new level
But you could already send files with activesync over bluetooth without this stack (do i suppose ftp service is the same thing). Btw can you acces the files located on your computer from your mini now??? (if yes plz tell me how)
As far as I am concerned, it works but doesn t change anything with my bluetooth headset and voice command, i always don t hear any voice command sound in my bt headset, but then I hear the phone conversation directly in the headset...so nothing has changed.
Would have loved so much to hear and launch voice commands directly from the headset's mic.
But thx anyway! that s a really good thing for us anyway =)
It does work with I-tech S35 Stereo BT Headset
As per subject really...
Just tested this on my 1.12.00 T-Mobile Rom and indeed all audio is indeed being re-directed to my headset. Only 'drawback' is that I can't get it to work with PocketMind Pocket Music- the sound it just muted.
But it works perfectly well with Windows Media Player. Slight hitch with WMP is that I am unable to change the volume on the software or indeed the JAM system volume directly- a minor fault for me since I have a volume control my headset Also the music seems to cut out for a second or so every 7-8 seconds.
Music pauses and restarts when an incoming phone call is received.
A massive thanks goes out kevinyang6688. Cheers mate, I have been wanting this for ages! Thanks again!

Mono Bluetooth and Music

 Has anyone managed to listen to music on mono bluetooth headset such as Jabar200 using magician. I've looked and read lots of forums but do not seem to find an answer. I've tried the two bluetooth stacks mentioned on this web site, but all use A2DP. I just want a way to be able to use my headset for telephone conversation when its needed and listen to my MP3s when I am driving.
I've tried opening an audio gateway on the Magician and it transfers phonecalls to the headset, but not non-call audio. On WM5 Uni this does work.
That's with the standard bluetooth stack.
V
What's the reason of having such a bad audio quality for listening music anyway?
The only good reason I can see for this are voice command applications.
Hi!
It works just fine on my i730 and it has 4.21.1088 on it.

this is from other forum for samsung i730
we all need find somebody who has this device & try to get some data from i730 , this registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth
and
for example if the way [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway]
has these parametrs (this from Qtek9100 also could be find)
"BTAGExtModule"="OEMAGW.dll"
"BTAGPBModule"="\\Windows\\BthAGPhonebook.dll"
so we need OEMAGW.dll & BthAGPhonebook.dll
for make an experiment
Anyone want to have a look through these 39 pages?

Possible solution - Listen MP3 via bluetooth headset

I find this bluetooth headset which the company said that it can be used to listen music via bluetooth headset. Simple installed a program call MSI BluePlayer for WM 5.0 and pair their headset.
Product : MSI Free Style FS110 (Attached photo)
Web site : (Chinese Only)
http://cweb.msi.com.tw/program/support/download/dld/spt_dld_detail.php?UID=619&kind=8
Non-official Web site : (English)
http://www.mobilewhack.com/reviews/msi_fs110_and_fs120_bluetooth_headest_music_transmitter.html
I tested my 818pro which cannot work properly. Actually, it can connect my i-tech R35 & 818pro and listen mp3 (stereo sound)....only 30s and said it only support MSI Product. (Attached a screen shot).
I need to buy this product and test whether it work. I will be updated this post.
Easier Fix
Try this program it just keeps your headset connected to your pda so you get streaming audio. good luck

Somehow, my bluetooth headset from Sony Ericsson has always been able to pick up mp3's and system sounds from my Prophet.
Don't know why that is, or if it is supposed to do that...

That's a good question - it used to do it when I didn't WANT it to, and it hasn't in a long while... I would hit play in Windows Media Player and it would pipe through to my bluetooth headset.
I'll look into it - but off the top of my head I am guessing it was because I uninstalled Cyberon Voice Commander and the button map still held...
The sound wasn't all that great, but it functioned...
I'll see if I can reproduce it. I have reinstalled Voice Commander since.
did you mean you uninstall voice commander and system sound transfer to headset. How to uninstall voice commader, remove it from extrom???

A2DP for Alpine

Is there a download for A2DP for the Imate PDA 2 that is available and reliable ?
I see some of the other devices are getting this to work, but I haven't seen for the Alpine ? I'm trying to get this to work with a Bluesonic Blue ant bluetooth speaker. It works with the speaker in phone mode but the audio qulity is poor (phone quality).
A2DP is perfectly work on Alpine. Even with keys support!!!
Hmmm- I've had a reasonable go at trying. Anywhere i can get some information on how I should be doing this ? Maybe I am missing something ?
my xdaIIi run A2DP perfectly.
After you install the patch, setup an extra partnership with your BT earpiece or speaker whatever with the high quality audio mode under the BT manager.
After the setup, connect the device and press the talk button in your earpiece, play the music and the sould is perfect (almost)
A2DP for Alpine... where is this patch?
Hello,

My I-Tech R35 works nearly perfectly with the alpine. Every now and then the sounds cuts out for a second or two and then comes back. As if there is not enough 'bandwidth'
Any ideas? Any reg tweaks?
Thanks
Sounds like a CPU priority issue...
I found out what the problem was....
Wifi interferes with the bluetooth
Doh! Can't stream BBC Radio 1 anymore lol
Thanks

No, I could not. The play/pause also did not work. However, I believe that they do work with TCMP (I use PocketMusic). Volume buttons work regardless. Also, the A2DP profile does not pair automatically with the R35 even if I press the Multi-Function Button!! But damn, the audio quality is amazing now.
All the media buttons work when used with my A2DP hacked Wizard (o2 XDA Mini S)

Thx, I got it! I might have a try with TCPMP player on my XDA IIi. I just wonder why they don't provide the AVRCP patch at the same time.
Anyway, I checkd the picture of XDA IIi's PCB board and found that the bluetooth module of XDA IIi is UGXZ5 which manufactured by ALPS, a japanese company. This UGXZ5 supports the Ver1.2 of bluetooth spec. However, HTC utilizes the bluetooth driver software that coming from Broadcom.
This may be an obvious question, but how do you install the BT patch mentioned above?
Cheers;
pc
Download the CAB file to your PC, then transfer it with Windows Explorer or ActiveSync to your PPC (Go to My Computer and then Mobile Device or click Explore in the ActiveSync window) and then on your PPC use a file manager program (File Explorer) to browse to the directory you saved the CAB file to, and then click it. It should automatically install and then delete the original CAB afterwards.
Flawless; Thanks a lot.

Hi,
Is there a patch that will allow the BT to work without the phone being on, as currently need the phone on to use BT.
Thanks
Gordon
has anyone got A2DP to work with the htc820 + windows media player? I have had it working with tcmp but after taking a call the audio isn't rerouted via the headset?
Just pause TCPMP before answering phone. And then music will resume ok.

Do Any Of You Use Coreplayer

In wm5 my bluetooth headset was able to next, back, play, pause the songs and now with WM6 it does not work.
I checked at coreplayes forum and noone seems to even own a x7500.
Anyone using coreplayer with WM6, if yes is your BT headset able to do next, back, play, pause?
i se voice activation via ms command
I use CorePlayer. I don't have headphones but do have a Jawbone headset.
I use Coreplayer with a pair of Blueant Stero Headphones on WM6
No probs what so ever controlling playback or with the headsets other BT capabilities.
