When I'm in my car I use three devices at the same time: gps, headset and mouse.
Haven't tried two audio devices...

are you using a ad2p headset or single ear?

i use single ear piece

Can you pair a BT headset with two devices?

I'd like to be able to use a single BT headset with both my XDA II and my laptop for VoIP calls. Possible? Or will one pairing wipe out the other? I actually don't have a BT headset nor BT card in the laptop yet...
yes you can by using sony ericsson hbh-200
you will be able to use more than tow device
I once tested my Jabra BT250 with an XDAII and SE P800.
Seems like the Jabra can be bond with both two devices. So when I get calls from either one of them, the Jabra will be activated.
What i didn't try was recieving calls at the same time with only 1 headset.

Stream a2dp to more then 1 headphone

does anyone know if streaming to more then 1 BT headset at the same time is possible ? IF so, how will they be paired to the Phone and do they have to be the same brand Model ?
Thanks in advance for your inputs
Sorry, only one bluetooth device can be active at a time. There's another consequence to this: you can't be listening to your bluetooth headset and expect your bluetooth GPS to connect either.
so no such thing as having you and your wife listening to the same music while jogging in the park... very sad
Yet thanks for your input

Not so; I'm doing both at this very moment, listening to MP3s over A2DP and getting GPS data. The Wizard seems to be keeping up pretty well in spite of its slow processor; I've only had a couple of short dropouts on the audio.
hmmm... couldn't get mine to work. Your GPS is bluetooth? I also can't get my car handsfree to work when I'm listening to mp3s using my HP A2DP headphones.
If this is the case then the Microsoft Bluetooth stack sucks. Bluetooth is ABLE to connect up to 7 devices. In other words, when in A2DP mode, you SHOULD be able to share the sound with up to 7 clients. And if you only have one client to send sound to, then you SHOULD be able to connect to 6 different Bluetooth devices that do different things (e.g. GPS, keyboard, printer etc)
If the MS stack can't do that 7-to-7 kind of sharing, then it's a crap stack.

Bluetooth problems

Hi.
I have one HTC TYTN and one bluetooth headset but I only have sound in the phone function.
I don't have any sound with media player, ring tones and other sound programs, but with phone calls the BT (Bluetooth) works fine.
I can hear in HTC, but not in BT
I try with
NOKIA BH600
MOTOROLA H350
JABRA BT135
Is this a problem from my HTC or they don't work at all??
Thanks
Fmpm
BT only working with Phone
I have a similar problem. Tried with a Motorola HS850. BT Only works with the phone, not the PDA, and certainly not with Skype. Using the "Hands Free" profile.
Can anyone confirm a BT headset that works with the PDA side (i.e. Skype)?
I have also heard that BT headphones with AD2P profiles will work, but they won't fit in your pocket.

Depends on what you mean by "pocketable". For example, my Plantronics 590A is collapsable and some other A2DP headphones don't have a headband at all.
Please DO check out my A2DP-related articles either on my blog or here in the General forum - I elaborate on these questions a LOT in there.

Use either BlueMusic (see my related article on this title) or BTAudio (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=280353 )

See above: BTAudio / BlueMusic will be your friend.

i didnt HEAR nothing in my BT why?

thanks
the JASJAR connect to BT but didnt getout voice
this is because of the handsfree you use.
some handsfrees don't work although they have bluetooth 2.0 and theoretically they work with the uni.
personally i have tried 4 different handsfrees before i got one to work properly.
a koracell,a jabra, a nokia BH-800 and another jabra JX-10. they all didn't work.
i now use a motorola h700. it is the best by far!!!!
it connects instantainously. the coverage area is far larger that is supposed to be on a 1.2 bluetooth. i have been able to speak at a 8 meters distance, in a different room.
if your device finds the bluetooth and the pairing goes well, that doesn't mean that you will be able to use the BT.
to check if your BT works with your uni do this:
1. pair with the BT handsfree
2. launch the dialler aplication and see if there is a small pair of headphones in the upper right corner. if there is, then you will be able to hear the voice. but that doesn't mean that the BT handsfree you use it's the best.
you could find yourself unable to use the BT when the uni is in your pocket and the BT on your ear.
i recomand Motorola H700.

Wing bluetooth headset question

Does Wing work with Stereo Bluetooth Headset _ONLY_? One bluetooth headset I have works with Dell X51v, but has no luck with the Wing. Seems Wing requires A2DP(??).
Any ideas?

No, stereo is not required. I have two very cheap bluetooth headsets that both work with my Wing. The wing doesn't require A2DP, but does support it (supposedly).
On that note, is your headset visible in the Wing when you go and search for bluetooth devices (add new) in the bluetooth applet?
The headset works fine with X51v PDA so I know it is functional.
Yes, the headset is visible in the Wing's BT management interface. It can pair the partnership without any problem, when I tried to connect, sometimes I saw the microphone icon appear in the top bar of the screen, but it disappeared in seconds.
When I adjusted the volume, sometimes I heard clicks from the headset, but when I played music/sound, they always came out from the speaker.
What am I missing here? Thanks!!
