When I bought my TyTn it has a Swedish ROM-version: 1.18.263.2.
I flashed it to Telsta-JasJam. It worket very well in two monthes Just last week wona flash it to the new Swedish AKU 3.x so I get Invalid Vender ID error. Swedish TyTn said this void the warranty. Now I have a device with boot loader display with out accepting any ROM. I tried with all languages ROM Norwegian, WWW, Swedish etc.
What can I do. Can u help me plz?

can anyone here give me an Original Vodafone Rom for the Herad, cause i bricked my phone and now i only can go into bootloader. And all other Roms did not work in case of vender ID.

Invalid vendor ID
This means your phone is locked for a particular country and the rom is not meant for that country.
If its P3400 u can do Hard Spl from Olipro thread

I use diy for a long time to diy a chs rom
because i am a chinese (so please forgive me post my poor eng)
then when i flash my diy rom into pharos
RUU always tell me that "err 244 invaild model id" when reach 2%
so how can i deal with it
my pharos is customized by Chinamobile and it's called dopod p660

and i can flash tom's rom and all the roms from pdaviet
only can't flash what i made into my phone!!

did you use the htccert tool... it might be because your rom isnt certified

I entered my serial on the HTC site and could not download the rom update. Therefore I downloaded using another UK serial obtained from this site.
When installing the rom update, i get the following error
ERROR [294] : INVALID VENDER ID
I have just looked on my phone and it shows the rom version to be 1.14.405.3 (22273) WWE. This looks to me like a Danish one. God know why I would have a Danish rom but just wondering if anyone can help me make an upgrade bearing in mind I know absolutely zero Danish?
surely you should be able to do it by changing the spl?
I haven't got my HTC touch yet but its in the wiki on how to change it....
Thanks! I will have a look at changing the SPL when I get a chance later today. I spoke with HTC and they do not support my phone because it has been 'branded' by Orange. There's very little chance Orange will provide upgraded roms anytime in the next zillion years.
Anyone in a position to compare the new upgraded rom vs dutty's rom ? If Dutty one is still far superior, then I might as well just install that. My HTC HD is still a virgin when it comes to Roms
